Colby's POV 

This is great... these people are going to take care of us, I mean I know Tony kinda, I've seen him around New York, Big time superhero of whatever bullshit. Definitely wasn't who I expected to be my farther. I think her name is Pepper, she seems nice but very organised which I can't relate. Ellie seems to like them anyway. 

As Tony's car came to a stop, I looked up to the huge blinding tower. 

"Cobee look!" Ellie said point at the tower in amusement 

I smiled 

We all got out of the car and up the elevator, it was up as quiet as the drive to the tower. Once the elevator stopped and doors opened. I was amused about how big this place really was. 

"Shit, it's 5:00!" Tony said outloud 

"You said a bad word!" Ellie accused 

I simply rolled my eyes, this is gonna take a long time. 

"Ellie how about I show you to your room, Colby you too?" Pepper stepped in 

I happily followed I was right next door to Ellie's room. 

"This is your room.." Pepper started I yawned 

"How about I give you a tour tomorrow?" She asked 

I nodded my head and she closed the door behind her. 

I started to get a shirt from my backpack and decided it would be best to change. I was going to call Bronwyn but I forgot my phone at her place. I guess I could pick it up tomorrow at school, if I can wake up tomorrow. 

I looked around the room that is 'mine' 

It wasn't coloured, just plain white, there was a desk and a walk-in walkdrobe my own bathroom and a king size bed. Wasn't at all like home, our kitchen was our lounge room and then down the hall there was 3 bedrooms which I could literally touch the walls of if I stood in the middle. 

Beside my bed was a bedside table with a clock reading the time 5:02 AM 

I mentally groaned and changed my shirt and lying down on the bed. 

"Hello, I'm Jarivs. I'm Tony Stark's Inteligent system, would you like your bed to be warmed" 

I flinched at the voice, I was confused waiting for a fucking robot to come out and scare the living daylights out of me

"Where are you, who are you" I questioned, now I'm wide awake

"I'm Tony Stark's inteigent system, I take care of the tower and help with tony in his lab whenever needed too" he explained 

"So your name is Jarvis?" I questioned 

"Yes, J.A.R.V.I.S stands for Just A Rather Very Inteligent System" 

"Makes sense.." 

"What's your name Sir." 

"Just call me Colby" 

Before I could answer another question Ellie came running in.. 

"Cobee there is a man talking in my room!!" She came running in with tears running from her eyes 

"It's okay Ellie he's cool, take him like a friend wherever you go!" I explained to her

She wiped her tears away nodding 

"Can I sleep with you?" She questioned 

I accepted

After hours of me trying to get to sleep, I found that it was useless. After a long night I still can't seem to shut my eyes . 

I looked over to Ellie sound asleep, I slowly made my way out of the bedroom and into the Stark tower. I looked outside to the city below and watched the sun rise... 

"Can't sleep huh?" I turned around to see Tony 

"Nope.. why you up?" 

"Well, I was making something, for my new armour suit.. it's gonna have lazers, going to be awesome!" 

I looked at him.. god he acts like a child 

"I'm going back to bed.." I explained before he could say anything else about his stupid suit. 

"You can have the day off school if you want? You've had a late night ya know?" 

I just nodded and kept going to the room.
