Colby's POV 

By 9:00 we got to Bronwyn's house, I noticed the car at front meaning her parents were home from another trip. Bronwyn's parents are very nice however they only really care about their work. 

I opened the door to be greeted by her parents. 

"Colby! Haven't seen you in a while!"  Bronwyns mother, Amy greeted.

I smiled "it has been long, 4 months?" I stated which kinda turned into a question.

"Almost 5 months!" Scott said from the kitchen 

Bronwyn's parents have always been sweet and kind to My mum, Ellie and I. 

I was greet by Bronwyn and Aiden came down for Ellie. I noticed they were packing for another trip. 

"Where you going this time?" I questioned Scott as he was in the kitchen making Ellie and Aiden a sandwich. 

Bronwyn went to go help her mum with something outback. 

"We were actually thinking of going on holiday to Dubai"  

"Including Bronwyn?" 

"Well, I asked her when we got home yesterday, but she said she wanted to stay.." 

"Dubai sounds awesome! Why doesn't she want to come?" 

"No idea, now kiddo, you have probably heard this a lot but sorry about your mother but trust me it only gets better" 

"Wish it could get better quickly.." I admitted 

"Why? Isn't tony like.." 

"Oh no.. he isn't like that trust me..." 

"What is he like an asshole?" I smiled at his choice of words but it was true. 

"Yeah.." 

"What are you guys talking about?" Amy came inside.

Bronwyn was behind her, we both grinned at eachother. 

"So Colby? When are we going to the park?" 

Before I could answer Aiden and Ellie's eyes beamed out. 

"Park!! When are we going to the park?" Aiden practically through a fit. It's almost like we came them to much caffeine. 

"Soon, I guess.." 

Ellie and Aiden went off laughing and screaming. 

"You guys are like Husband and wife with 2 kids.." Amy said. More I thought about it more I think she's right.. 

"Yeah but Colby, never marry her.. they're crazy" he whispered. Pointing to his Wife and Bronwyn. 

Bronwyn hit me and little and laughed. 

"Shut up mister or your gonna be sleeping on the couch tonight!" Amy said waving around a knife. 

"Think you want to listen to her, she's carrying an incredibly dangerous knife" I stated 

"An overly large, incredibly dangerous knife!!" Amy joked 

"See? She's crazy!" 

"Soo, you to an actual couple?" Bronwyn's dad said

I could see Bronwyn embarrassed, I smirked. 

"Well,.." 

"Dad, yes we are, so please stop.." I could see Bronwyn absolutely embarrassed 

"Whata catch!" Scott said clicking his fingers. Bronwyn put her hands over her head. Before he could go on and on. 

Bronwyn grabbed my hand. 

"We're going to the park now!" She said pulling me!

"Okay sweetheart, when you guys come back I can show you embarrassing photos of you to your boyfriend!!" Scott yelled and we both exited out of the house. 

I cracked up laughing. She apologised for her dads stupidity, we made our way down to the park. As we were about to cross the road, waiting for a white car to pass, Ellie almost just ran across, I pulled her back, just at the white war was about to pass.

"Jeez Ellie, you need to look left and right.. you almost gave me a heart attack!" I exaggerated 

"Sorry Colby.." she apologised... we walked across the road. Ellie and Aiden ran across to the swings as we went to the closest bench to sit down.
