Colby's POV 

I slowly awoken from a slight tap from the shoulder.. 

my eyes adjusted to Tony.. He just stood there.. I lifted from the lounge doing a quick yawn. I noticed the dark sky. 

"What time is it?" 

"Around 11:30.." tony said. I groaned.. 

"Yeah sorry about that.. now I have this party in Malibu.. but you can have acouple options.. you can either come with your  sister.... or you can stay here with Rhodey.. up to you.. I've had Jarvis pack your bags just in case" 

If Nick and I didn't have this plan.. I would've still come to Malibu.. no offence to Rhodney! I mean last time we met he tried to make us do a quiz to test the 'Stark Inteligence' skills he called it, how boring as bat shit.. I felt like watching the grass grow! It was worse than school and it was only for like 2 1/2 hour's! 

I nodded in acceptance.. I could see he expected a difference response but soon shrugged it off.. 

I got off the lounge doing some final stretches. I saw my bag right next to Ellie's.. 

Pepper's POV 

As tony went to go get Colby, just to make sure he didn't want to come.. I went to go get Ellie. She was fast asleep on her bed.. I picked her up.. I felt her manoeuvre as she rubbed her eyes.. 

I smiled. 

I went to go greet everyone else with her still in my arms. 

I was surprised to Here Colby agreed to come, but was more excited to go! 

"Ready to go?" Tony questioned 

I looked around. 

"Why we leaving so late?" Colby questioned 

"Well because the airports are less busy. Easier for Happy to drive, and easier for us to get in without being bombarded by people" Tony explained 

Colby took Ellie from my hands as I picked up some of our bags with Tony. Colby walked ahead to talk with Happy as they discussed some things. 

"Why the hell does he like my driver more than his actual farther.." tony questioned 

I shrugged not knowing an answer.. 

"I guess Happy is always happy.." I managed to say. 

We all got in the car.. 

"Tony.. do we have the paper work?" 

"Check.." 

"Extra clothes?" 

"Check" 

"Phone charges" 

"Pepper bloody hell we got everything!"

"What about that thing for Bruce?" 

"Yes.. he kept nagging me on it!" 

Colby's POV  

"Are the avengers coming?" I questioned

"Yeah they are.." Tony responded soon after. 

I relaxed back on the car seat.. 

Ellie was sound asleep as soon as I put her back in the car.. 

I looked in my bags to see what Jarvis has packed for me.. thank god he packed my headphones. I was thankful for that time I told him I couldn't go anywhere without my headphones.
