Now what to do? Three people one bed. Well technically not three but two and half cause Alizah is still an infant.

Wait, WTH?! Did I just have that conversation in my head. I am so dumb.

Hmmmm....

We both were standing, I, in the nightdress which I borrowed from Uméma and Fahad beside me with his hands across his chest.

"I am not trying to be mean but I am sleeping on the bed. Umm...you can sleep there." I said to Fahad pointing towards the floor.

"First you say that you are not trying to be mean and later you be the selfish girl and points at the floor for me to sleep? What logic is this?" He questioned me calmly.

"Fine you want to sleep on the bed. Sleep. I don't mind. But don't tell me that I move too much." I clarified. I knew he will never want to sleep with me. Well that sounded wrong.

"See, what we will do is one day you will sleep on the bed and the next day I will." He came up with a new idea.

"Fine." I agreed.

"But only on one condition I will be sleeping on the floor and you will be making my bed on the floor." Huh? Why would I?

"Sorry. But did you just say I will do that?" I asked him bewildered and he nodded at that.

"Are you kidding me?" I asked him moving my hands frantically.

"Do I look like a person that will joke around?" He raised his eyebrows at me.

"No. Why will I do that? You want to sleep. You make your bed and sleep. Naukar nahi hun mein tumhari!" I snapped at him. (I am not a servant of yours.)

"You will do it!"

"I will not do it!"

"You will!"

"Will not!"

"Will."

"Will." I gasped after I realised what I said. And Fahad was smirking at me.

"You manipulative dog! You tricked me!" I shouted at him.

"You were stupid enough to get tricked." He rolled his eyes.

"You ugly um...uh....snake!" I shouted at him after thinking for a correct animal he could be compared.

"You are calling me a snake? Have you looked yourself at mirror?"

"Yes, unlike you, I look very much good, Ma Sha Allah [Because of God's grace]."

"New flash Miss Overconfident, if someone will look at you, they will go bonkers." I gasped at his words.

"Have you ever seen yourself? Your face looks same like a Rhinoceros, stupid!" I objected. Sorry, rhinos you had to get compared to this nincompoop.

"Oh please you are the one to talk here?" He raised his eyebrows at me. "You better differentiate between me and you."

"You cheap fox! Don't use that kind of words at me." I screeched. Sorry to all the animals I am comparing them with him.

"Please first of all stop comparing me to animals. Yo-"

"Yes, even the animals will feel insulted to be compared by you. Sorry animals." I added and mentally laughed.

"Ugh! You are testing my patience, Nada. Just shut your mouth, make my bed, sleep and let others also sleep!" He said aggressively.

"Fine, angry bird!" I grumbled and opened the cupboard.

"Again?!" I heard him.

"What again!?" I asked innocently.

"Stop comparing me to animals." He gritted his teeth at me to which I laughed off. Am I laughing too much todays?

If he is one, then why won't I compare him with one. Men! Actually not all men. There are many men who are nice like my Dad was and Rahim too. Rahim is so sweet towards Mira. They are so cute. But this arrogant idiot will never ever answer me straightly for once.

I looked at him who was sitting beside a sleeping Alizah with laptop on his lap and spectacles across his eyes. I didn't notice how he looks and I kid you not he looks so different with those spects. A good different. Wait! Am I staring at him?! Ew. No-no I was criticising him.

Oof- Here I am struggling to make his bed and he is peacefully doing his work?! Nada Maham Hashmi won't let that happen! Uh sorry, Nada Maham Sheikh wont let that happen. Yikes! It sounds so bad the former one was better.

"Fahad?"

"Hmm?" He said not lifting his eyes up from the screen.

"Where is the mattress? If you have any extra." I asked him. I knew where they were. I just saw them.

"I don't know ask Mom." He divulged the topic still engrossed in his work.

"No! Here I am making bed for you and you are not helping with anything." I spoke angrily.

"Geez, woman stop shouting it must be in that cupboard." He directed, pointing towards the cupboard who was adjacent from me.

This room is so big and it confuses me.

I walked stomping my foot angrily grumbling about how I am stuck here. I didn't realise that when I reached near the cupboard until my head hit it and heard a snicker.

"Why does this happen to me?" I whined. Shut up Fahad?!"

But still he didn't so I picked up the water bottle and threw it at him. He caught it still not stopping snickering.

"Stop it Fahad!" I repeated.

"Oh-kay." He said calming himself down. "Thanks for the bottle by the way." He drank from it and again threw at me which I dodged by bending down.

"Fahad! I swear if you do such thing again then you will be the one who will make your own bed!" I screamed. Oops! Sorry Alizah.

Idiot what does he think of himself. Stupid creature. Ya Allah why did you send him here? For tormenting me?

I laid the mattress down on the floor.

"Fahad?" I called out.

"Hmm.?" Again!

"Where is the bedsheet?"

"In the cupboard." He answered irritatedly. Minutes ago he was enjoying seeing me get hurt and now he is again back to his grumpy mood.

I opened the cupboard this time, carefully, took out the bedsheet and spread it.

"Fahad?"

He looked up from his laptop, finally!

"Now what?" He asked agitatedly.

"Where are the extra pillows?" I asked him just to irritate because they were also in that cupboard I saw them.

"Ugh. . . Stop irritating me Nada, it is also in that cupboard!"

"You yourself asked me to make your bed and today is my first day in this house. Mujhe sab kuch kese pata hoga! How do you expect me to know each and everything?" I snapped at him. (How am I supposed to know everything?)

"Okay. Fine. Shut your mouth. It's in the cupboard now go!"

After I kept the pillows only the blanket was missing I thought not to irritate him more or he will fume too much. I obediently went towards the cupboard and took out the blanket.

After making his bed, I decided to sleep. Finally, favourite part of the day. I pushed Fahad down and switched off the lights.

"Nada! How dare you push me?" He hollered and switched on the lights.

"And don't say your stupid dialogue -'Want me to do it again'" He interrupted before I could say anything.

"Fahad. Shh.. Alizah is sleeping. Keep your volume down. It's half past ten. I wanna sleep and you should too that's why I switched off the lights. Now shoo." I covered myself with the duvet and switched off the lights.

"How am I gonna survive these months?" I heard Fahad whispering which made me smile.

Huh! That's what you get for being arrogant.
