Clues and Lies

As Boboiboy and Fang finished their questioning with the guys, they'd trapped them inside the spare room of the penthouse. They went down the steps to see the girls coming back from their search. "Anything on these guys before turning them over to the cops?" Fang asked as he approached them, Ying nodded, "Local gang. Apparently they were sent to keep the common folks silent." Yaya said as Ying chimed in, "But can't seem to find a way to relate Loxter's work with these guys other than a Prosecutor."

Boboiboy hummed, tapping his chin as he tried to think of something, uttering, "how else do we find him." As Gopal returned from his food haul, he sat down at the couch, inviting the others to eat as they simply rested. In a few minutes, Boboiboy yelled, 'aha!' he sprung from his seat, surprising Fang who had eaten some red carrot donut. "I have an idea~ come close."

"You better hope this is the right place, I do not want my human citizenship revoked."

Fang sighed as the group were snuck behind a building, Boboiboy plotting a secret operation that required them to break into the Prosecutor's Office. Now, Fang created a shadow wall that hid them as Yaya flew them up, landing into a darkened room, empty of people. "Find some information you think we'll need. We meet up here when needed, got it?" they hummed, splitting up into two groups as Yaya, Gopal and Boboiboy set off on their own whilst Ying and Fang moved on their own.

Entering what looks to be an archive or documentation room, the three entered as Yaya started her search, Gopal checking for anything in the drawers and Boboiboy moved out to look someplace else. His footsteps stopped, leaning back to the wall when he heard someone, seeing a crack of light from the door, making him silently peek from it to see two older males.

"Did you silence those groups yet, Sir?" The standing male asked towards the man seated across him. "Of course, they know what's best for them... their lips should be sealed." he gave a low chuckle, his smirk turning devious, "a prosecutor can't always be good..." The seated man said in a gruff tone as the standing male nodded with a smile, "I guess. I'll gather intel on that machine we've recovered. Its strange powers per se could help us in the long run." The standing male stated before the seated man swatted him out.

Seeing that he was moving off, Boboiboy rushed to go back into the room, accidentally hitting the metallic trash can creating noise. He gave a low gasp before shutting the door, seeing the two with shocked faces. "Someone's coming, hide!" He whispered-yelled as Gopal hurriedly dove into one of the large file cabinets as Yaya rushed to pull him into another cabinet, closing it just in time for someone to come in.

'That was close!' Boboiboy thought, peering from the three lined holes of the cabinet, seeing the man looking around, in a few minutes the guy left and shut the lights and door, locking it. He let go of the breath he held in, looking down to see the top of Yaya's pink hijab. "Yaya?" He called only to regret as she looked up at him, with the faintest light coming outside, he'd seen her pinkish cheeks. "C-close... too close." She said in a small voice, making him swallow the lump in his throat, realizing their bodies were pressed to each other, her figure leaned towards him, their eyes staring at one another, Yaya could've sworn Boboiboy's eyes flickered down to her lips, her ears ringing.

"You guys can come out now." Fang's voice snapped them out of their stare, Boboiboy gently knocked from behind Yaya's figure, letting the raven-haired male move to open the locked cabinet.

Boboiboy soon told them to retreat, going out the nearest window, flying off using Fang's Shadow Eagle, landing on the balcony. They'd started to rummage through their papers, Boboiboy recalling what he'd overheard, "Guys–" they turned to him, "I overheard two people inside the building talking about some machine. I think they were mentioning a powersphere." He added as they were surprised. "WHAT!?"
