MOTEL

Dean and Ellie are both asleep on two of the three beds in the motel room. As the door opens, both Dean and Ellie wake up and they slip their hands under their pillows. Dean turns to look and sees Sam entering with coffee and pastries.
"Morning, sunshines." Ellie realises that it's her brother, groans and turns away from them for more sleep.
"What time is it?" Dean asks sleepily.
"Uh, it's about 5:45"
"In the morning?!"
"Where does the day go?" Dean groans.
"If you two dumbasses don't shut the hell up within the next minute, I will shoot you both." Ellie groans from her pillow, Dean sits up and throws a pillow at her. Ellie flips him off and sits up also.
"Did you get any sleep last night?" Ellie asks, eyeing Sam up and down while rubbing her eyes.
"Yeah I grabbed a couple hours." Sam lies.
"Liar. 'cause I was up at three, and you were watching a George Foreman infomercial." Dean retaliates.
"Hey, what can I say? It's a riveting TV."
"When was the last time you got a good nights sleep?" Ellie asks her brother, both Dean and Ellie now not taking their eyes off their brother.
"I don't know, a little while, I guess. It's not a big deal."
"Yeah, it is." Dean and Ellie say in unison.
"Look I appreciate that you two are concern-"
"Oh, I am not concerned about you." Dean says as Ellie shoots him a mean look. "It's your job to keep our asses alive, so we need you sharp." Sam shrugs at his brother and sister.
"Seriously, are you still having nightmares about Jess?" Ellie asks with concern, Sam crosses over the room and sits on Ellie's bed, handing a coffee to Dean and one to Ellie.
"Yeah. But it's not just her. It's everything. I just forgot, you know? This job. Man, it gets to you." Sam tells his siblings. Dean looks at Sam, "You can't let it. You can't bring it home like that." He tells Sam. Sam scoffs.
"So, what? All this it.... never keeps you up at night?" Dean shakes his head. Ellie thinks about this for a moment, when she was younger, it used to terrify her, she used to need Dean or Dad to sleep in the same bed with her as she was so scared of the monsters under the bed, but she learned to get over this at by 11.
"Never? You are never afraid?" Sam pushes further. Dean shakes his head, so Sam reaches under Dean's pillow and pulls out a large hunting knife, and then reaches under Ellie's and finds a gun. Ellie takes the gun back and says "Hey! I never said I wasn't afraid, I mean no one wants to die in their sleep!"
"Yeah, that's not fear. That is precaution." Ellie laughs at Dean.
"All right, whatever. I'm too tired to argue." Sam lies down on Ellie's bed, Ellie moves over to give Sam some space. Dean's phone rings, he answers it.
"Hello?.... Oh, right, yeah. Up in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, the poltergeist thing. It's not back, is it?" Ellie perks up, realising who Dean is talking to. "What is it?" Dean eyes them both.

HANGAR

Sam, Dean and Ellie are walking through the hangar with Jerry, a guy Dean and Ellie helped out a year ago.
"Thanks for making the trip so quick. I ought to be doing you guys a favour, not the other way around. Dean, Ellie and your dad really helped me out."
"Yeah, he told me. It was a poltergeist?" Sam recalls.
"Poltergeist! I love that movie!" A random man calls out.
"Hey, nobody's talking to you. Keep walking. Damn right it was a poltergeist, practically tore our house apart. Tell you something, if it wasn't for you two and your dad, I probably wouldn't be alive. Your dad said you were off at college. Is that right?"
"Yeah, I was, I'm taking some time off" Sam says slowly.
"Well, he was real proud of you. I could tell. He talked about you all the time."
"He did?" Sam sounded shocked, while Ellie smiles remembering how Dad was so proud of Sam.
"Yeah, you bet he did. Oh, hey, you know I tried to get a hold of him, but I couldn't. How's he doing anyway?"
"He's, um, wrapped up in a job right now." Ellie says.
"Well, we're missing the old man, but we get Sam. Even trade, huh?" Dean and Ellie laugh.
"No, not by a long shot." Sam breathes out.

They walk into the office and sit down with Jerry.
"I listened to this. And, well, it sounded like it was up your alley." Jerry puts a CD in a drive. "Normally, I wouldn't have access to this. It's the cockpit voice recorder for United Britannia flight 2485. It was one of ours. He plays the recording.
"MAYDAY! MAYDAY! REPEAT! THIS IS UNITED BRITANNIA 2485 - IMMEDIATE INSTRUCTION HELP! UNITED 2485, I COPY YOUR MESSAGE - MAY BE EXPERIENCING SOME MECHANICAL FAILURE..." There is a large whooshing sound and the tape stops. Jerry looks at the three siblings.
"Took off from here, crashed about 200 miles south. Now, they're saying mechanical failure. Cabin depressurised somehow. Nobody knows why. Over a hundred people on board. Only 7 got out alive. Pilot was one. His name is Chuck Lambert. He's a good friend of mine. Chuck is, uh... well, he's pretty broken up about it. Like it was his fault." Jerry sighs.
"You don't think it was?" Ellie questions.
"No, I don't"
"Jerry, we're gonna need passenger manifests, um, a list of survivors." Sam asks.
"All right."
"And, uh, any way we can take a look at the wreckage?" Dean asks.
"The other stuff is no problem. But the wreckage... fellas, the NTSB has it locked down in an evidence warehouse. No way I've got that kind of clearance." Dean frowns and looks at his younger siblings.
"No problem."

STREET

Sam and Ellie are waiting by the car outside a Copy Jack. Sam and Ellie are quietly chatting and laughing to each other. Dean exits.
"You've been in there forever." Ellie whines. Dean holds up two IDs.
"You can't rush perfection." Dean states, Ellie groans and crosses her arms in a strop.
"I am still pissed that I can't come with you guys."
"Sorry Ellie, but we barely pass as Homeland Security, and you, you look about 15 so there would be no way that it would be believable." Dean says and ruffles her hair.
"Homeland Security is still very illegal Dean, even for us." Sam says worried.
"Yeah, well, it's something new. You know? People haven't seen it a thousand times." All three get in the car. "All right so what do you two have?" Dean asks the two. Ellie leans forward.
"Well, there's definitely EVP on the cockpit voice recorder. Listen." Ellie plays the tape, which has been edited to pull out a scratchy voice.
"NO SURVIVORS!" The voice calls.
"'No survivors'? What's that supposed to mean? There were seven survivors." Dean asks confused.
"Got me." Sam states.
"So, what do you guys think? A haunted flight?" Dean asks the two.
"There's a long history of spirits and death omens on planes and ships, like phantom travellers. Or remember flight 401?" Sam says.
"Flight 401? What happened there?" Ellie questions.
"It was a plane that crashed, the airline salvaged some of its parts, put it in other planes, then the spirit of the pilot and copilot haunted those flights." Dean explains.
"So, what, do you think we could have a similar deal?" Ellie asks her two older brothers. They nod.
"All right, so, survivors, which one do you want to talk to first?"
"Third on the list: Max Jaffey." Sam says.
"Why him?" Dean asks.
"Well, for one, he's from around here. And two, if anyone saw anything weird, he did."
"What the hell am I going to do why you guys are off being Homeland Security." Ellie whines, they both laugh.

DINER

Ellie is at a diner, researching more about supernatural incidents surrounding planes. She sits back from her laptop, thinking, she takes a sip of her coffee, she pulls out her phone and looks at it, thinking. She sighs and goes through her contacts, she stops at Dad and closes her eyes, she presses call, it rings for a little while and then she gives up and hangs up before it gets to voicemail. She leans forward, head in her hands.
"Rough day?" Ellie looks up to see a waiter around the same age as her looking down at her with a notepad.
"Yeah, something like that." Ellie breathes out.
"Do you want something else to drink or someone to talk to?" The server smiles, Ellie looks up to have a good look at him, Ellie can see he is good looking and seems like a nice guy, but Ellie knows they won't be here for long, so doesn't see the point. Ellie has had flings before but if her dad or brothers ever found out they would kill her and then the boys she had gotten with.
"Thanks for the offer, but I will just take another coffee, thanks." The server gives her a disappointed smile and walks away. She calls up Dean.
"Hey little sister."
"Hey big brother, how's it going?"
"Well we have talked to a victim and a widow of one of the victims who apparently suffered from acid reflux."
"Why did you talk to a dead vic's wife?"
"Because that guy Max we talked to saw this guy open an emergency door on the plane, he didn't appear or disappear he was just another passenger."
"There would have been tonnes of pressure on that door, it would have been impossible to open, what do you think we are dealing with here?"
"Honestly, El, I have no clue, me and Sammy are about to go suit shopping to make us look more douchey." Ellie laughs down the phone.
"Oh wow, you gonna go see if you can see the wreckage then?"
"I think it's the only choice we have left."
"Well I guess it definitely isn't a ghost..." Ellie hears a voice in front of her.
"A ghost?! Wow you just get more difficult to read every time I come over here." The server smiles, Ellie laughs at this.
"Ellie? Who was that! Are you with a boy!" Dean shouts down the phone.
"No, Dean relax, it's just the server bringing me a coffee, alright I am gonna go now, text me the address when you get there. Byeeeee." Ellie quickly hangs up before Dean can say anything else.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt you and your boyfriend's conversation." Ellie nearly spits out her coffee at this.
"Wha- no, no, no! Dean is my big brother, I am meeting him in town, I am helping him shop, he has a fancy dress party to go to, so that's why we were talking about ghosts." Ellie quickly lies. The server is still smiling at her. Ellie quickly starts blushing, packs up her things and stands up throwing some money on the counter, "Anyway, uh, thanks for good service!" Ellie quickly rushes out the diner. "'Thanks for the good service.' Come on Ellie you're better than that." She scolds herself, she shakes her head walking quickly away from the diner, she receives a text from Dean about where to meet and walks towards the town.

SUIT RENTAL SHOP

Ellie arrives at the store just as Sam and Dean exit the shop wearing black suits with white shirts, Sam is adjusting his collar while Dean looks very unhappy. Ellie spots them and bursts out laughing they walk up to her both rolling their eyes.
"You two look like the Blues Brothers" Ellie teases, "Or seventh graders at their first dance.".
"Shut up." Sam and Dean say in unison.
"I hate this thing." Dean says angrily, as they walk down to the car.
"Hey, you want into that warehouse or not?" Sam asks. Dean frowns as they all get into the car.

JERRY'S OFFICE - THE NEXT DAY

Sam and Dean went to the warehouse where the wreckage was, showed Ellie the yellow stuff they found on the plane, she was at a loss at what it could be.

Jerry looks at the yellow stuff through a microscope; what the microscope sees is replicated on a screen.
"Huh. This stuff is covered in sulfur." Jerry looks confused, Ellie looks at the microscope.
"You're sure?" Ellie asks.
"Take a look for yourself." Jerry hears banging outside. "If you guys will excuse me, I have an idiot to fire." Ellie chuckles lightly at this as Jerry leaves the room and Dean goes over to the microscope and looks in.
"Hmm. You know, there's not too many things that leave behind a sulfuric residue." Dean says to the two.
"Demonic possession?" Ellie asks.
"It would explain how a mortal man would have the strength to open up an emergency hatch."
"If the guy was possessed, it's possible." Sam pipes up.
"This goes way beyond floating over a bed or barfing pea soup. I mean it's one thing to possess a person, but to use them to take down an entire airplane?" Dean says. Ellie fidgets uncomfortably in her seat, knowing this demon is bad news.
"You ever heard of something like this before?" Sam asks Dean.
"Never." Dean states, as Ellie looks more and more uncomfortable.

MOTEL

Dean, Sam and Ellie are in full research mode, with images and articles taped to the walls and strewn across the beds, and Sam is looking at something on the computer, Ellie is reading something on the bed while Dean is going through Dad's journal.
Sam looks up from his computer, "So, every religion in every world culture has the concept of demons and demonic possession, right? I mean Christian, Native American, Hindu, you name it."
"Yeah, but none of them describe anything like this" Ellie sighs.
"Well, that's not exactly true. You see according to Japanese beliefs, certain demons are behind certain disasters, both natural and man-made. One causes earthquakes, another causes disease." Sam tells his little sister.
"And this one causes plane crashes?" Dean asks while getting up.
"Yeah. You know, who knows how many planes it's brought down before this one?" Sam says, Dean snorts and Ellie looks up at him.
"What?"
"I don't know, guys. This isn't our normal gig. I mean, demons, they don't want anything, just death and destruction for its own sake. This is big. And I wish Dad was here." Dean states.
"Yeah. Me too." Ellie says while looking down, Dean's phone starts to ring and it's Jerry.  It looks like quite a tense conversation.
"Jerry, hang in there, all right? We'll catch up with you soon." Dean hangs up, Ellie looks at him.
"Another crash?" Ellie asks him.
"Yeah, let's go."
"Where?" Sam and Ellie ask in unison.
"Nazareth."

JERRY'S OFFICE

They went to check out the crash and found more yellow powder, they all knew it was sulfur. They then went back to Jerry's office to make sure it was sulfur. Jerry is looking through a microscope.
"Sulfur?" Dean asks, Jerry nods. "Well, that's great. All right, that's two plane crashes involving Chuck Lambert. This demon sounds like it was after him."
"With all due respect to Chuck, if that's the case, that would be good news." Ellie states.
"What's the bad news?" Dean asks.
"Chuck's plane went down exactly forty minutes into flight. And get this, so did flight 2485."
"Forty minutes? What does that mean?" Jerry asks
"It's biblical numerology. You know Noah's ark, it rained for forty days. The number means death." Dean explains.
"I went back, and there have been six plane crashes over the last decade that all went down forty minutes in." Sam goes on.
"Any survivors?" Ellie asks.
"No, Or not until now, at least, not until flight 2485, for some reason. On the cockpit voice recorder, remember what the EVP said?" Sam says.
"'No survivors'" Ellie remembers. Ellie thinks for a moment, "It's going after all the survivors. It's trying to finish the job."

IMPALA

Dean is driving, Sam is on the phone, and Ellie is lying down in the back.
"Really? Well, thank you for taking our survey. And if you do plan to fly, please don't forget your friends at United Britannia Airlines. Thanks." Ellie smirks as Sam hangs up the phone. "All right. That takes care of Blaine Sanderson and Dennis Holloway. They're not flying anytime soon." Dean looks over at Sam.
"So our only wildcard is the flight attendant Amanda Walker." Dean states.
"Right. Her sister Karen said her flight leaves Indianapolis at 8pm. It's her first night back on the job." Sam tells his two siblings.
"Dean this is a 5 hour drive, man, even with you behind the wheel." Ellie says.
"Call Amanda's cellphone again, see if we can't head her off at the pass." Dean says, Sam shakes his head.
"I already left her three voice messages. She must have turned her cellphone off.... God we're never gonna make it."
"We'll make it." Dean says determined.

The three run into the airport and check the Departure board, Ellie spots what they are looking for.
"Right there. They're boarding in thirty minutes." Ellie says.
"Okay. We still have some cards to play. We need to find a phone." Dean says. Dean picks up a courtesy phone trying to get a hold of Amanda, she picks up but he unsuccessfully gets her off the flight.
The three run to where the plane is boarding.
"All right, it's time for plan B. We're getting on that plane." Sam says, Ellie nods and follows Sam.
"Whoa, whoa, now just hold on a second." Dean is wide-eyed.
"Dean, that plane is leaving with over a hundred passengers on board, and if we're right, that plane is gonna crash." Ellie says.
"I know." Dean agrees, Sam looks at Dean with urgency.
"Okay. So we're getting on that plane, we need to find that demon and exorcise it. We'll get the tickets. You get whatever you can out of the trunk. Whatever that will make it through the security. Meet us back here in five minutes." Sam tells Dean. Dean looks at them both anxiously.
"Are you okay?" Ellie asks.
"No, not really?"
"What's wrong?" Sam and Ellie both say.
"Well, I kind of have this problem with, uh.."
"Flying?" Ellie asks shocked, finishing Dean's sentence.
"It's never really been an issue until now."
"You're joking, right?" Sam says shocked.
"Do I look like I'm joking? Why do you think I drive everywhere, guys?" Dean states.
"All right... Uh, we will just go." Ellie shrugs.
"What?!" Dean asks.
"We will take care of it, you just wait it out." Sam says.
"What are you, nuts? You guys said it yourselves, the plane's gonna crash!" Dean half shouts.
"Dean, all three of us can do it, or me and Ellie will do this one. I'm not seeing a third option here." Sam tells Dean. Dean looks around, fearful.
"Come on! Really.. man!" Dean goes and gets stuff out of the car while Ellie and Sam go and buy the tickets.

PLANE

Ellie, Sam and Dean are sitting in their seats on the plane, Ellie in the middle of her brothers. Ellie looks at Dean, with a small smirk.
"Just try to relax" She tells her brother. Dean not looking at her but anxiously reading the safety card simply says, "Just try to shut up." Ellie rolls her eyes and looks at Sam. The plane takes off, with Dean jumping at every rumble and sound, he suddenly grabs Ellie's hand and holds onto it tightly. Ellie and Sam look at each other, smirking.

A little bit further into the flight, Ellie looks over at Dean who is leaning back, humming Metallica, she hits Sam on the arm and tilts her head towards Dean, getting him to look at Dean, they both smile.
"You're humming Metallica ?" Sam asks confused.
"Calms me down." Dean says, Ellie grabs Dean's hand again who automatically holds it back.
"Look, I get you're nervous, all right? But you got to stay focused." Ellie says softly, Sam nods at this.
"Okay." Dean agrees.
"I mean, we got 32 minutes and counting to track this thing down, or whoever it's possessing, anyway, and perform a full-on exorcism." Sam states worriedly, Ellie looks up and down the plane.
"Yeah, on a crowded plane.. That's gonna be easy." Ellie says.
"Just take it one step at a time, all right? Now, who is it possessing?" Sam asks, also looking up and down the plane.
"It's usually gonna be somebody with some sort of weakness, you know, a chink in the armour that the demon can work through. Somebody with an addiction or some sort of emotional distress."  Dean says.
"Well, this is Amanda's first flight after the crash. If I were her, I'd be pretty messed up." Ellie says. The brothers both hum in agreement. Dean turns to a flight attendant.
"Excuse me. Are you Amanda?"
"No, I'm not."
"Oh, my mistake." Dean looks to the back of the plane to another air hostess.
"All right, well, that's got to be Amanda back there, so I'll go talk to her, and, uh, I'll get a read on her mental state." Dean says.
"What if she's already possessed?" Ellie asks.
"There's ways to test that." Dean goes to his bag and pulls out a bottle of water. "I brought holy water." Ellie and Sam look at each other.
"No." Ellie says, snatching the bottle of Dean and giving it to Sam who tucks it inside his hoodie. "I think we can go more subtle. If she's possessed, she'll flinch at the name of God." She says.
"Oh nice." Dean turns to go, Ellie calls him back.
"Hey."
"What?"
"Say it in Latin."
"I know." Dean leaves again, Sam then turns around.
"Hey!"
"What?!" Sam looks at him.
"Uh, in Latin, it's 'Christo'". Sam tells Dean.
"Dude, I know! I'm not an idiot!" Dean makes his way to the back of the plane. Ellie turns to Sam.
"Sammy, do you have any fears, like I know the job gets to us both, but anything that freaks you out like precious back there and flying?" Ellie asks intrigued while pointing to Dean at the back of the plane talking to Amanda, Sam is looking for an exorcism to perform.
"No, not really." Sam says, Ellie smiles suddenly.
"Oh wait, it's clowns!" Sam sneers at Ellie, as Ellie laughs.
"Oh like you don't have any fears!" Sam retaliates, Ellie shrugs.
"I don't" Ellie says. Sam sits there thinking looking at an exorcism, Ellie smiles smugly, "I'm too cool to be scared." Ellie pokes Sam in the stomach making him smile lightly.
"Shut up, you loser." Sam breathes out as Dean comes back and sits down.
"All right, well, she's got to be the most well-adjusted person on the planet." Dean sighs.
"You said "Christo"?"  Sam asks.
"Yeah."
"And?"
"There's no demon in her. There's no demon getting in her." Dean states.
"So, if it's on the plane, it can be anyone. Anywhere." Sam says looking around. The plane shakes. Dean grabs the handles of his chair.
"Come on! That can't be normal!" Dean says with worry in his voice.
"Hey, hey, it's just a little turbulence." Sam says softly, as him and Ellie both look at Dean.
"Guys, this plane is going to crash, okay? So quit treating me like I'm friggin' four." Dean says angrily to them.
"You need to calm down." Ellie says matching the tone of Sam's.
"Well, I'm sorry I can't"
"Yes, you can." Sam states.
"Guys, stow the touchy-feely, self-help yoga crap, it's not helping." Dean angrily tells them. Ellie grabs his arm and gets close to his face.
"Listen, if you're panicked, you're wide open to demonic possession, so you need to calm yourself down. Right now." Ellie sternly points out. Dean takes a long, slow breath.
"Good. Now, I found an exorcism in here that I think is gonna work. The Rituale Romanum." Sam tells them both.
"What do we have to do?" Dean asks.
"It's two parts. The first part expels the demon from the victim's body. It makes it manifest, which actually makes it more powerful." Sam says, quietening down for the last sentence.
"More powerful?" Ellie asks.
"Yeah."
"How?"
"Well, it doesn't need to possess someone anymore. It can just wreak havoc on its own." Sam says.
"Oh. And why is that a good thing?" Dean asks, worry in his tone.
"Well, because the second part sends the bastard back to hell once and for all." Sam explains.
"First things first, we got to find it." Ellie points out.

Dean walks slowly up the aisle with his EMF meter, he is getting odd looks but no readings. Sam and Ellie come up behind Dean, Sam claps him on the shoulder, and he jumps.
"Ah! Don't do that." Dean angrily says.
"You find anything?" Ellie asks.
"No, nothing. How much time we got?" Dean asks. Ellie looks at her watch.
"Fifteen minutes. Maybe we missed somebody." Ellie says.
"Maybe the thing's just not on the plane." Dean states hopefully.
"You believe that?" Sam asks, not believing that at all.
"Well, I will if you will." Suddenly the EMF meter spikes. The copilot exits the bathroom and heads towards the cockpit.
"What? What is it?" Sam asks.
"Christo." Dean says. The copilot turns slowly to face them. His eyes are black. The copilot goes into the cockpit. Dean looks at Sam and Ellie.

They decide they have to tell Amanda about this so they can get the copilot to the back of the plane.
"She's not gonna believe this." Ellie states.
"12 minutes, guys." Dean points out. They go into the back where Amanda is and Sam closes the curtains.
"Oh, hi. Flight's not too bumpy for you, I hope." Amanda smiles.
"Actually, that's kind of what we need to talk you about." Dean says.
"Um, okay. What can I do for you?"
"All right, this is gonna sound nuts, but we just don't have time for the whole "the truth is out there" speech right now." Dean starts.
"All right, look, we know you were on flight 2485." Ellie states bluntly. Amanda's smile disappears.
"Who are you three?"
"Now we've spoken to some of the other survivors. We know something brought down that plane and it wasn't a mechanical failure." Sam continues.
"We need your help because we need to stop it from happening again. Here. Now." Dean says
"I'm sorry, I-I'm very busy. I have to go back -" Amanda stutters over her words, she tries to brush past Dean, who stops her.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait a second. I'm not gonna hurt you, okay? But listen to me, uh... The pilot in 2485, Chuck Lambert. He's dead."
"Wait. What? What, Chuck is dead?" Amanda says.
"He died in a plane crash. Now, that's two plane crashes in two months. That doesn't strike you as strange?" Ellie continues from Dean.
"Look, there was something wrong with 2485. Now maybe you sensed it, maybe you didn't. But there's something wrong with this flight, too." Sam says.
"Amanda, you have to believe us." Dean says.
"On.... on 2485, there was this man. He... had these eyes." Amanda starts.
"Yes. That's exactly what we're talking about." Sam states.
"I don't understand, what are you asking me to do?" Amanda questions.
"Okay, the copilot, we need you to bring him back here." Ellie asks.
"Why? What does he have to do with anything?" Amanda asks.
"Don't have time to explain. We just need to talk to him. Okay?" Dean tells her quickly.
"How am I supposed to go in the cockpit and get the copilot-"
"Do whatever it takes. Tell him there's something broken back here, whatever will get him out of that cockpit." Sam says with urgency.
"Do you know that I could lose my job if you-"
"Okay, well you're gonna lose a lot more if you don't help us out." Ellie tells her. Amanda hesitates.
"Okay." Amanda leaves and goes to the cockpit. She knocks on the door and says something inaudible to the copilot who follows her back. Sam pulls out the holy water. Dean pulls out John's journal and gives it to Ellie.
"Yeah, what's the problem?" The copilot asks as he comes into the back. Dean punches him in the face, knocking him down. He pins him down and puts duct tape over his mouth.
"Wait. What are you doing? You said you were just gonna talk to him." Amanda says scared.
"We are gonna talk to him." Sam splashes holy water on his skin, which sizzles.
"Oh my God. What's wrong with him?"
"Look. We need you calm. We need you outside the curtain.
"I don't underst - I don't know -" Amanda stutters.
"Don't let anybody in, okay? Can you do that? Can you do that? Amanda?" Sam looks up at her.
"Okay. Okay." Amanda leaves.
"Hurry up, Ellie. I don't know how much longer I can hold him." Dean groans.
"Regna terrae, cantate Deo, psallite Domino -" Ellie starts, the demon breaks free briefly and hits Ellie and Dean. Dean and Sam subdue him. Ellie picks up where she left off. The demon knocks Dean over again and pulls the tape off his mouth. He grabs Sam by the collar, hitting Ellie in the process.
"I know what happened to your girlfriend! She must have died screaming! Even now, she's burning!" The demon screams at Sam. Ellie recovers, scrambling to John's journal to try and find the exorcism. Dean gets up and hits the demon as Sam sits there stunned.
"Ellie!" Dean says. Ellie reads again, Sam and Dean pin the demon down, as he kicks Ellie and the journal flies down the aisle. The demon exits the copilots body and goes into the vent as Ellie tries to sit up.
"Where'd it go?" Ellie asks looking around
"It's in the plane. Hurry up. We go to finish it." Dean shouts at Ellie. The plane suddenly dips and heaves violently. Sam struggles to retrieve the book as Dean and Sam splay themselves against the exit door. Ellie manages to grab the book and reads the rest of the exorcism. A bright electrical charge runs through the entire plane, which then levels out.
Amanda sighs in relief, as Sam and Dean come out from behind the curtain as Ellie stands up sighing loudly.

AIRPORT

The passengers from the flight are disembarking to an area milling with uniformed agents. The copilot is talking to some FAA agents. Amanda is also talking to an agent, she sees Sam, Dean and Ellie standing across the way and mouths "Thank you". They nod.
"Let's get out of here." Ellie says. They head for the exit. Sam is being very quiet causing Ellie and Dean to look at him.
"You okay?" Dean asks, Sam stops and turns.
"Guys, it knew about Jessica." Sam says, his eyes are glazing.
"Sam, these things, they, they read minds. They lie. All right? That's all it was." Ellie tells him reassuringly.
"Yeah." Sam says, not really believing what Ellie says.

AIRPORT - DAY

Jerry is standing near the Impala with Sam, Dean and Ellie all leaning on it.
"Nobody knows what you guys did, but I do. A lot of people could have been killed." Jerry shakes all three of their hands. "Your dad's gonna be real proud."
"We'll see you around, Jerry." Ellie says. Dean goes round to the driver's side of the Impala, before looking up.
"You know, Jerry."
"Yeah."
"I meant to ask you, how did you get my cellphone number, anyway? I've only had it for like six months."
"Your dad gave it to me." All three Winchesters look up quickly.
"What?" Sam asks looking shocked.
"When did you talk to him?" Ellie questions.
"I mean, I didn't exactly talk to him, but I called his number. His voice message said to give you a call. Thanks again, guys." Jerry leaves. All three Winchesters look at each other, as they drive off, to just outside of the airport. They all get out and sit on the hood of the car.
"This doesn't make any sense, man. I've called Dad's number like fifty times. It's been out of service."  Sam says. Dean dials a number. As the voice message begins, he turns it so Sam and Ellie can hear too.
"This is John Winchester. I can't be reached. If this is an emergency, call my son, Dean. 785-555-0179, or my daughter, Ellie. 785-555-0827. They can help." Dean and Ellie look at each other while Sam fumes and gets in the car. Dean and Ellie follow, and they drive off.
