This will evolve the show, Outer Banks. There will be no spoilers for the show because I do not watch it myself the show will just be mentioned. I just got the idea for this plot because I have an Outer Banks shirt (It was a gift) and I didn't know I did until now.

Your alarm clock woke up this morning for school, you rubbed your eyes, shut it off and went to the bathroom to get ready for school.

When you were done showering you speed walked to your bedroom to get your clothes, unfortunately you forgot to put your clothes out the night before. You tried assuming you had clean clothes for the sake of you not panicking and worrying you'll be late. You just hoped you had enough time because you're supposed to walk to school with your friend, David. As you looked through your closet you found a white short sleeved shirt that said 'Pougues for life' in bold gold writing and outlined in pink. You rarely wore this shirt so you decided to give it a chance today, you got dressed, had breakfast and was out the door.

You got to walk with David to school and the two of you talked. He usually hung out at some creek under a giant rock with two other guys, you forgot the names of them and you didn't bother to try to.

When the two of you arrived at school, you asked David if he wanted to hang out after school next week since you'll be home alone that night. "Sorry (Y/N), that night me, Barry and Mark agreed to binge watch any show we can find"David said, "You can come if you want-". "No thanks, it's fine"You sighed and kept walking with David, it had been awhile since it was just you and David and you thought that night would be nice to hang out with David also you thought it would be awkward to come with David.

Time skip

During passing period, you opened the bathroom door to go inside but someone was already there about to open the door as well. You didn't notice the person looking at your shirt and you didn't expect them to say anything. "I like your shirt"The person smiled, "Thank you"You nodded then you both went where you needed. A compliment wasn't expected for today, 'How nice of them to say that'You thought to yourself.

Time skip

Afterwards, it was time for your next class and you took your seat. You heard there was a new guy joining your class, he swapped history classes and now he was with your class. You didn't bother to look and see if he came to the class or not you just sat in your seat waiting for class to start. Until, you see an unfamiliar boy come sit next to you. He had brown hair, pinkish skin and glasses. You didn't bother to look at him again and sat up straight, you saw him take a look at your shirt like the person at the bathroom. "Wow you like Outer banks too?"He spoke, you looked at him and pointed at yourself to make sure he was talking to you.

"Yeah you, you like Outer Banks too?"He said, the boy tried to start a converstation about what he menetioned. The more he talked the more confused you got, "Also, cool merch"He finished talking "Look, sorry but I don't watch the show you're talking about"You said. You didn't wanna make him feel embarassed but you had to be truthful, "Oh...Sorry I thought you were a fan of the show too because of your shirt, forget I said anything"He sighed feeling pretty stupid for rambling about something you didn't understand.

Marks POV:Wait a go, Mark! Just when I felt like socializing like my parents keep forcing me to, you mess it up and make yourself look like an idiot! Why were they even wearing the shirt if they don't watch the show? "Hey, maybe I'll try out the show I didn't even know this was for Outer Banks. Was that the name? Anyways, I'm sure this show seems great why don't you explain it to me"They said, I turned around to them again. Maybe I still have a chance...

"Okay, I'm Mark by the way"I introduced, "I'm (Y/N)"(Y/N) said. I clearly explained Outer Banks and the meaning behind 'Pougues'. "Hey, me and my friends, Barry and David, are going to binge watch random shows and we might even rewatch Outer Banks, do you wanna join us?"I said.

2nd person:"Hmm, sure but also the David you mentioned, is it David Levy?"You asked in hopes it was your friend David and this was the Mark he's friends with. "Yeah, why?"Mark confirmed "I'm friends with him"You said glad it wouldn't be awkward since someone you knew would be there.

Time skip

The night to hang out with Mark, David and Barry came. The hang out was under the rock they called, 'Elder Rock', David helped you talk with Barry and Mark, Mark was slightly more easy to talk to since you've talked more after your time in history class. "So, what show are we choosing to binge?"Barry was the first to ask, "Well, I was thinking we could binge watch Outer Banks again, (Y/N) has been wanting to try it"Mark suggested as he sat next to you. After sometime they all came to the conclusion to watch Outer Banks after another short show Barry wanted to try.

You watched Outer banks with the elders, thankfully you dodged all the spoilers you could and can actually enjoy the show with your new friends.

Time skip

Marks POV:Stupid! They're all being so stupid! How are me and (Y/N) the only ones with a brain?! Ugh, whatever if Barry and David chose to act like this so be it!

Today I was at the creek at elder rock, recently I've been bringing (Y/N) along with us I don't want em' to feel left out. Until, the stump trio came asking about Kenneth...We've been separated for sometime and haven't interacted for years, (Y/N) seemed confused on who Kenneth was and Barry explained that he's an old friend of ours. But, turns out David has been staying in contact with him for AWHILE and didn't tell us!

We called Kenneth, he was happy to see us but who knows if he was actually happy! Not a single amine figure was in his new college room, he ditched his glasses and you wanna know the last straw?! That guy didn't even have his necklace! We all promised to keep those forever, but that was nothing to him! Of course, Barry and David got mad and stormed out elder rock, the stump trio walked off and there was just me and (Y/N) in there.

Later that day, I ranted to (Y/N) at my house and they listened. They listened cause I'm right!

2nd person:You listened through Marks words of anger about his friends, Mark thought you were on his side but in reality you didn't know whose side to be on. You've never known Kenneth or how he was with the elders you just hoped you didn't have to pick sides on this. You liked Mark, David and Barry as friends but if you have to pick sides you didn't know if this friendship will last.

A few days later

Lately, there has been no changes. Elder rock has been quiet with it just being you and Mark, sometimes while Mark talked you'd stare at the little hole to enter under elder rock and hope Barry and David will come back and you can all be friends again. But, being sad wouldn't make them come back so you pretended to be happy, you joked with Mark more and kept both of you guys minds off what happened.

Marks POV:(Y/N) is all I have now...(Y/N) is the only friend I got now with the whole Kenneth incident, whatever it doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter.

Nothing matters

Unless (Y/N) has anything to do with it.

All I want is (Y/N), (Y/N) is the only person I want and need.
