Flower field slow dance (Craigson)

5/10/22
This will be taking place after the Heartless Au.

Whoosh Whoosh, the wind blew.

In a flower field, sitting in the center was Jason his two toned hair blew as the many diverse flower around him also moved to the wind.

Almost a year passed since the fossil incident. It started out rusty but towards the end the start of a new beginning happened for Jason and the boy who helped him along the new changes, Craig Williams. He was all Jason desired now, "Jason!". Jason turned and saw Craig running through the field of flowers, the petals falling onto his lower body as he ran.

"Craig! You made it!"Jason cheered standing up seeing Craig standing in front of him. "Of course I did! I couldn't miss our first actual date together!"Craig said.

The two smiled and started laying down on the ground together, Craig glanced at Jason. He liked how Jasons real hair looked and the blue spots on his face, then stared up at the sky that was the same color.

After a little bit of looking at clouds together, Craig got up and reached into his purse of holding. "Craig, what's that?"Jason asked still laying down, "You'll see"Craig smirked and slipped out a boom box and a CD. Craig walked towards the center of the empty spot and played the music.

"For our first date, why not start our first slow dance"Craig winked putting a hand out for Jason, "Slow dance?"Jason tried to recall what Craig just said, he knew it was an earth thing but no one told him what it was. "I'll show you"Craig smiled and grabbed onto Jasons hand and pulled him in towards him to show him what he meant by slow dance.

Time Skip

The two dance for what seem like hours, but who was counting? The clouds were beginning to get bigger above them, under the endless sky. Jason was lost in Craigs eyes, so this was a slow dance he was experiencing.

He liked it.

As they danced, Jason started to feel an odd feeling in his gem but he ignored it cause he was too caught up in the dance and he thought it was because of how flustered he was feeling. But when Craig leaned in to kiss Jasons forehead. A turquoise glow came from Jason gem and it got bigger and bigger, it started to feel almost like him and Craig were becoming one. Fusion is what it was, but neither of them knew. When they were getting closer and closer to being one, Jason opened his eyes and saw what was happening unfortunately he wasn't familiar to this and panicked causing the fusion to split in half and they both fell to the floor.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Craig, I don't know what happened!"Jason apologized, but Craig didn't feel anywhere near how Jason felt. He felt, curious, surprised and wanted to try it again. "Jason, don't be sorry! That was amazing, we have to try it again!"Craig said getting Jason off his feet, "I don't know...Craig I have zero knowledge on what that was..."Jason sighed. "My biological parents are dead so my gem mom couldn't explain what this is...".

Craig stayed silent in thought, "Well, if you don't feel okay trying it again I'm not going to force you, but that was pretty awesome"Craig sighed, Jason thought for a moment as well. He had already stopped playing pretend as a human and learned to acknowledge his gem side wasn't something he could change. Maybe it was a normal thing that gems did, he was rarely let out into the palace the only gems he has been around were the diamonds but mainly Pink.

"I don't know, Craig...I think I just need time to think about it..."Jason sighed then walked off to his house. Craig watched Jason walk off slowly disappearing from his slight into the flower field. He just hopes he hadn't ruined the date.

Through out the rest of the day Jason stayed home, his mind was on whether or not he should try to do that with Craig again. He didn't know if it made him uncomfortable or not, he glanced over at the window and stretched his arm out to open it. He let the fresh air blow towards him, it reminded him of the flower field and, the fusion. "Maybe it wouldn't hurt to try something new..."Jason mumbled.

The next day

Jason and Craig met up with each other at the same spot from yesterday and at the same time. Jason had made up his mind and decided he did wanna try 'fusing' again.  That was the name Craig gave it after looking up some words online that had the same meaning to combining something. "So what do we do?"Jason asked.

Craig grabbed onto Jasons hand and pulled him close, "The same thing we did yesterday"Craig said then redid the slow dance Jason smiled when he felt the same glow in his gem come back. And finally, Craig started to kiss Jasons forehead. They both closed their eyes when fusion was finally happening. Craig and Jason kept their eyes closed as they were becoming one, unlike the first time Jason didn't feel panicked.

Seconds, minutes passed and two boys no longer laid at the flower field. Instead, a tall fusion boy laid there. "Did it work?"The fusion that used to be Jason and Craig in their separate bodies thought. He then got up and blinked not wanting to rub his eyes,  he looked down at his feet and immediately noticed he was taller now. "Jason, it worked!"Craig cheered while being the fusion with Jason but while he cheered he missed and slipped "This is new..."Jason mumbled looking at himself as a fusion.

He didn't know what his gem mother would say, would she scream in fear and demand they unfuse claiming it was dangerous? Would she not mind? "This is amazing...What should our new name be?"Craig said as the fusion. After some silence, the fusion spoke. "Craigson...Let's call this fusion-...Us, Craigson..."Jason suggested as the fusion stared at his gem.

For the rest of the afternoon, Craigson ran and laid in the flower field. But soon, it was time to head home and Craigson unfused. "That was fun..."Jason mumbled adjusting his shirt. "It was, you wanna do this again sometime?"Craig asked "Sure, I'm glad I agreed to this".

The boys exited the flower field and walked home after getting their shoes.
