"There." She says. "You look beautiful for the day."

I looked at myself in the mirror and the beautiful dark green dress matched with my emerald necklace that was placed perfectly on my chest.

"Thank you." I say looking closer at my makeup. "I shall see you in the evening when I am ready for my date."

"So you admit it is a date." She smiles cleaning up my vanity.

I shrug. "I shall decide what to call it after but for now, yes it is a date."

She chuckles and I stroll out the door and down to the dining room for breakfast. I made my ways through the halls on my own and I prayed that things would go well tonight at dinner. I had never been in love before and only hoped for the best to come out of Thor. But what if what my handmaiden said was true? What if Thor had no intentions of marrying me? I would be left all alone with a man who was forced into marrying a stranger. I sighed in annoyance to myself as my thoughts made me more sad than I already was. I kept walking down the hall until I made my way to the dining room and saw Loki sitting in his usual seat silently reading.

"Good morning Loki." I say sitting across from him.

"Morning Y/n." He says not making any eye contact with me. "How was your sleep?"

"It was adequate thank you for asking, how about yours?"

He shrugs. "The same as every nights."

I nod as I look down at my empty plate suggesting Loki was in a mood and did not want to talk to me at the moment. There was awkward silence in the room as I tried not to read his mind.

"Ahh hello my lovely maidens!" Thor booms walking into the room.

I look behind me and smile although Thor did not notice as he waltzed passed me and over to Loki. "Morning brother, you look ravishing." Thor jokes giving Loki a pat on the head. He looks across the table and smiles as he makes his way over.

"Lady y/n you look delightful."

"Thank you Thor." I smile

Soon the king and queen walk in and sit down at both ends of the table as Thor sits one seat away from me.

"Good morning Father, good morning mother." Thor smiles to his parents as he takes a piece of freshly cooked eggs from the table.

They smile at there son and Odin looks over to me. "Y/n, how was your rest?"

"It was peaceful thank you allfather." I smile. We all started to eat and I ate a salad with cold tea. Today's breakfast was hushed with very minimal noise. Loki still had his nose in his book, Frigga was writing letters, and Odin was going through papers. I kept making glances over to Thor who was not use to the quietness and neither was I.

"Father, what is on the mighty agenda for today?" Thor asks taking a bight into his third egg.

Odin looks up at his son. "Well as for the morning you and Loki will attend to your usual trainings and y/n shall see to the gardens with the maids." He looks over at me. "Unless Lady y/n would like to also take part in your morning trainings. I heard great things about you y/n and what power you hold, maybe you can teach Thor and Loki a lesson or two in combat."

I look around the room. "It is alright allfather, my usual trainings require more than two people, and today I would prefer to work in the gardens."

"Very well after that, lady y/n and Thor will spend their afternoon with me and as for Loki he shall spend time with Frigga."

"Yes father." Loki says.

Odin nods. "Now excuse me you three, the queen and I have an important meeting we must attend to." Odin and Frigga gather themselves as they leave the table.

"I should be getting ready." Loki says excusing himself as well.

I nod as I take a sip of my tea. The feeling in the room became awkward as me and Thor were left alone with each other.

"I am excited for tonight." Thor says. "I look foreword to getting to know you more Lady y/n."

"Thank you Thor, the same goes for I as well."

After breakfast, I headed out to the garden where three maids sat in the fields picking flowers. One had blond hair another had brown and the last girl had her hair dyed a pink color. I walked over as the cool autumn breeze twirled in my hair making it flow in different directions. I looked up and noticed that the sun had abandoned the sky and the clouds became somber and walked over to the tall grass. "Hello girls." I say kneeling down.

"Ah hello dear!" The blond one said smiling. "We were wondering where you went!"

"I'm sorry I had trouble finding my way through the castle."

She laughs. "I'm just teasing you dear."

I chuckle. "What are your names?"

"I am Caroline." The blond one says. "This is Hope." She points over to the brunette. "And Rebecca." She points to the pink haired girl as she handed me a basket.

"Thank you." I say as I start picking the flowers next to me. "I like your hair, I have never seen anything like it on Asgard."

She smiles. "Thanks, I've been studying about Midgard and there different ways of fashion, apparently this is one of them."

"You study Midgard?" I ask.

"She's practically from there." Hope chuckles. "She is obsessed with the humans and even talks like one."

"We tried telling her that it was not a good idea because then people here will not take her as seriously." Caroline states.

"But she does it anyways." Hope finishes Caroline sentence.

I laugh and turn to Rebecca. "I've been to Midgard many times."

"Oh I know." Rebecca smiles. "Everyone is supposed to study you and your history and I've read all of your adventures."

"Is that so?" I ask.

Caroline nods. "Every galaxy studies about you, you are so famous Lady y/n."

I blush.

"So tell me." Hope says. "How are things with you and the prince?"

I laugh. "Which one?"

The girls chuckle. "Both." Hope says.

"Well as for me and Loki we have not had the time to sit down and talk and I know not of what he thinks about me."

"And Thor?" Caroline asks.

I look down at the dandelion in my hand. "We are having dinner tonight just the two of us."

The girls gasp in delight.

"But don't tell anyone." I laugh.

"Do you have a dress?" Hope asks "If not I can get you one."

"Nonsense of course she has a dress! Do you need help with your makeup?" Caroline turns to me. "If so I am the best when it comes to makeup."

I laugh. "Thank you girls I have everything, but you are welcome to stop by my room before the evening."

"Oh we would love to!" Caroline squeals.

After the fields me and the girls did the laundry and spent more of our time outside. We got to know each other very well and I felt very safe with them as I sensed that there intentions of friendship was in fact real. I sat on a bench folding a hamper full of clothes as Rebecca and Hope sat on the pavement. We listened to Caroline give her life story but I was sure Hope and Rebecca wanted to cut there ears off.

"As I got older I studied the arts and wanted to presue becoming an actor, but things did not cut out the way they should have and now I am a mai-

"Caroline." Hope says with her hand on her head. "Please, I am sure Lady y/n is not at all interested in your life story."

Caroline looks over to me. "Sorry Lady y/n."

I chuckle. "No worries." The time went by and I was almost finished with the clothes until I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up as I saw Thor.

He looked at all of us and then spoke. "My apologies lady y/n for interrupting your time, but it is time to meet with my father."

I look at the three girls. "Sorry ladies, I must be going." I frown.

Rebecca smiles. "Your good y/n, go on."

I gathered myself and walked with Thor back inside the castle and was starting to feel much safer with him by my side as we strolled through the halls.

"So tell me, what does your father have planned for us today?"

"Well, I am sure you know about our royal arrangement." Thor acknowledges.

I nod. "Yes I am aware."

"Well then, he is bound to lecture us on the roles of a king and queen and the importance, safety, and duties of the nine realms." He looks down at me. "And if we do not die of boredom from the first twenty minutes be prepared for a two hour lecture."

My eyes widen as I look at the ground. "How lovely." I say sarcastically.

Thor looks over at me. "You seem very calm M'lady."

I shrug. "I'm some ways, after this I am free until our dinner and will not have anything else do do in the castle. I might as well take the time to get this lecture over with." I look up at Thor. "Do you have anything else after this?"

He chuckles. "Lady y/n I have almost about a hundred things that must obtain to today."

"Well I have yet another thing for you to add onto your list."

"Anything for you M'Lady."

I look up at him and smile. "Do not be late for tonight's dinner." I joke.

He laughs. "It is good we are having it because you clearly do not know too much about me. I am never late to anything."

"Oh is that so Thor?" I laugh.

"I am just joking lady y/n, I know what you can do with your little magic." He chuckles waving his fingers at me. "If I were gifted with such powers I would know everyone's past and it wouldn't even be necessary to ask questions. "

"Well then you would not like to hear that I do not like using my powers and would much rather have you tell me all about yourself. You learn that in the end it is a gift but yet also a curse."
