RECAP

Landon and Josie looked at you. "Just... a little something to make you feel more at home." Landon spoke up. The smile on your face grew as you walked into the room more, Landon walking around Josie to stand next to her.

You looked around the room to see fairly lights hung up, your name on the wall, photos of you and Landon, the one photo of you and your dad and mom and so many other things. "It's not exactly how it was, but we thought you might like it if we changed it up a little bit." Josie commented, you looking at her.

You let out a small laugh as brought them in for a hug, happiness taking over you. "Thank you, guys. That means a lot." You whispered to them.

Alyssa has been all up in your business - meaning your side of the room - and just kept annoying you, causing you to be mad at others and her. You walked into your room as you had forgot your chemistry of magic book, what came next made you angrier. Once opening the door, you saw Alyssa Chang making out with Jed on your bed. "What the hell!?" You exclaimed, obviously sounding mad.

Jed and Alyssa look over at you, Alyssa scoffing as her 'time' was ruined. "Are you blind?" She questioned you, lifting herself up as Jed got off her. "I spelled the knob to 'do not disturb'." Alyssa continued speaking.

You rolled your eyes, not caring about that as you walked forward to your bed couch that had your textbooks and everything on it. "I need my 'Chemistry of Magic' textbook." You fired back as you bent over a bit and grabbed the book. "And more importantly, why are you on my bed?" The anger in your voice was obviously scaring Jed because he had gotten off the bed.

"I thought it'd be nice if it saw some action." Alyssa responded, shrugging like it was no deal.

You glared at Alyssa. "You know what could use some action? These fists punching the very thing I'm looking at." You responded, watching as a glimpse of fear came over her face.

Jed looked at you apolitically but also scared. "I'm sorry, Kate." Jed said as he left the room.

Lifting the book to rest on your arm, you turned around, flipping Alyssa off. "I'm crashing at Hope's." You stated, anger still in your voice.

You walked out of the room and down the hall. Alyssa - now not being scared by your threat 'cause she thought you were joking - decided to continue being annoying. "Have fun holding hands." Alyssa called out to you from the door way.

Ignoring Alyssa, you walked through the hall ways, anger coursing through your veins. Suddenly you felt as if something passed through you but ignored it and walked into Hopes room and fall limp on her bed. "What's wrong?" Hope questioned as she looked at you from her desk.

Not even bothering to look up you responded but it was muffled. "I hate my life. I hate Alyssa Chang. I hate everything." You stated.

Hope could barely understand what you were saying but somehow got it. "Does that mean you hate me?" Hope questioned, sitting on her bed in front of you.

After thinking about it, you decided to reply. "No." You responded, sighing as you lifted your head up to look at Hope.

Hope smiled slightly, before patting her bed. "Come on, seems like you need some sleep." Hope commented. "Go get change and we'll go to bed." Hope continued speaking. Once getting changed and hopping into bed, you and Hope both fell asleep while hugging.

You and Landon were currently on the deck, training since Landon wanted lessons and since you learnt everything from Hope, you decided to help Landon. "Okay, that was a little hard." Landon commented as he tried keeping up with blocking my attacks.

He then makes a move, leaving his stomach open which cause you to knock one of the sticks out of his hand and push your sparring stick in is stomach, making him hold it in pain before kicking his feet, watching him land to the floor. "Ow..." He whispered as he shut his eyes. "Okay, um, to be clear, when I asked for training, I sort of meant for beginners." Landon reminded me.

You lowered your sparring stick from his chest. "Yeah." You mumbled, realising what you had done. You let out your hand for Landon to take, which he did, he grunted slightly as you pulled him up. "Sorry. It's just that my annoying room mate Alyssa Chang has me all worked up. That girl doesn't know when to back off and literally has no boundaries." You exclaimed, getting angrier talking about her.

Landon just listened, unsure of what to say but assumed you needed to let this out. "She takes all of my stuff without my goddamn permission and every frickin day she has a new scented candle. One that smelled like the food I hate most, bacon. I think she's trying to gaslight me." You commented, now thoroughly thinking about it.

Landon understood what you were saying as he nodded. "Yeah, bullies'll do that." Landon stated to you. "Trust me, I pretty much have a PhD on the subject." Landon continued. You completely forgot about him being bullied at Mystic Falls High.

As much as you wanted to feel bad, your annoyance and angry was taking that over. "She honestly makes me miss the days when we used to toss a monster into the Malivore pit. And that's saying something." You responded.

"Well, I know this might not sound like the most action-packed advice, but, um, maybe just try talking to her. Bullies hate being confronted." Landon stated, giving you advice.

A smile formed on your face. "I guess I could try that Dr. Kirby." You replied, smiling through the sentence.

Landon also smiled. "Great. Uh, how about some more sparring first? Maybe some judo or kenpo?" Landon suggested. "Aikido-?" Landon continued.

You watched him to see if he was but he wasn't, casing your smile to drop and cut him off. "All right, slow down there, Spirit, why don't we just start with the basic jab? Have you walking instead of running head first into danger." You stated, faking poking him with your sparring stick.

After you finished your training session with Landon, you were now in the gym for Coven Day. "For years, witches have been persecuted for being different, even dangerous. Coven Day is an opportunity for all of us to celebrate and to take pride in being a witch. To learn about the individual covens that make up our magical community." Emma spoke to students in the crowd that were listening.

You, on the other hand, were searching for Alyssa Chang to confront her like Landon said. "Hey, uh, have you seen Alyssa Chang by any chance?" You question the girl you were stood next to.

The girl looked up from her clip board and looked at you. "No. Not today." She responded.

Just then the doors flung open, revealing the one and only, Alyssa Chang. As she walked in, she lifted her hand up and the doors closed. The entrance was not needed whatsoever. "Glad you decided to join us." Emma said to Alyssa.

Alyssa looked at Emma as she said that. "Sorry, I just really didn't want to be here." Alyssa fired back. This girl just does whatever she wants, when she wants.

Laughter filled the room from mostly everyone, besides a few of you - including you. Emmas smile dropped as Alyssa talked back. "We'll talk later." Emma stated, looking back at everyone. "For the rest of you, enjoy. You'll find that what you get out of Coven Day is what you put into it." Emma finished speaking, allowing the students to leave.

You walked to be in front of Alyssa, immediately regretting taking Landons advice. Putting on a fake smile, you looked into her eyes. "Hi. I'm just gonna get to the point. I know we don't see eye-to-eye, and I'm one hundred percent sure you probably weren't super excited about having a roommate." You started explaining.

Alyssa then cut you off, getting on your nerves already but you stayed calm. "Oh, I don't mind having a roommate. I just don't like you." Alyssa commented, being completely honest.

You glared at her with you fake smiling going away. "Okay. How about we talk about boundaries." You stated, getting to the point. "Start over?" You questioned, trying to be nice.

Alyssa stayed quiet for a while. "You're right. We should start over. Back to when I had the room to myself." Alyssa responded, mailing her point very clear, well trying too.

When she said that, you let out a sigh and rolled your eyes. You walked to Wades presentation since you had nothing to do. Wade cleared his throat before speaking. "Uh, welcome to my presentation." Wade started.

Hope sat down next to you, let out a angry huff. "What's wrong?" You asked, the roles now switched.

She glanced at you before back at Wade speaking. "Alyssa Chang." Hope responded. You couldn't help but smile even though you were also mad at her. "She's bossing me around and telling me to basically back off things." Hope explained.

You nodded your head up and down. "Imagine sharing a room with the bitch." You commented. Hope let out a sigh as she couldn't imagine what you were dealing with while sharing a room with her.

You and Hope zoned into Wade speaking now. "And I've always wondered why I don't fit in or why I'm bad at magic-" He didn't get to finish.

"Because you got admitted here due to a clerical error?" Alyssa Chang 'joked' about Wade. That wasn't a joke, that was being mean and hurting Wades feelings on purpose. People laughed at her comment, obviously finding it hilarious.

You and Hope rolled your eyes and Alyssas comment and watched as Wade continued on. "But I've done some research and I think I have an answer." Wade stated. "I've been misdiagnosed." Wade moved to flip over the paper. "I'm not a witch, I'm... a fairy." He said, revealing the paper of a fairy drawing.

Laughter filled the room as he said that. In your opinion it kind of makes sense, he can never do magic. "I know it's out there, um, but..." He paused as he flipped the papers again. "fairies enjoy honey, they're incredibly tidy, and they love to sing. Uh, just like me." He paused. This was kind of sweet. No pun intended. "Uh, I also never knew my parents, so maybe they were eaten by Malivore." Wade continued.

"Maybe you could be eaten by Malivore so we can forget your whole presentation." Alyssa commented, earning laughter once again.

Wade then looked at something. "Does-does anyone else see-"

"A waste of fairy space?" She continued, now just being full on rude. Laughter filled the room again.

Wade looked down, embarrassed and upset, now running off the stage to be alone. Emma then looked back at Alyssa. "That's detention, Alyssa." Emma stated to the other witch.

Alyssa squinted her eyes at Emma. "Do you even work here?" Alyssa questioned rudely.

Emma nodded her head. "I do today." Emma responded sassily.

Alyssa let out a sigh. "Fine. It couldn't be worse than this." Alyssa replied.

You rolled your eyes, sick of this. "I don't know." You started. "Being alone in a fricken room with you?" You questioned, it being rhetorical. "As your roommate, that sounds like lucifer himself." You continued, earning 'oohs' form your comment.

"Being bossed around by you?" Hope questioned. "That just sounds like torture." Hope continued, earning more 'oohs'.

Alyssa looked around, not liking being put down. Emma looked at you and Hope in disbelief. Just then you and Hope heard growling from the side of your ears, but you both weren't scared and didn't even look at it. "Good, Kate. Good, Hope. Don't let anyone make you look weak." The mysterious voice stated.
