01: Young Master Hiro

Young Master Hiro

~*~

Do you believe that there exist another world besides ours?

Do you even know how many stars, galaxies and worlds exist out there?

And do you often dream of something but when you wake up, you vaugely remember any of it?

--

Images of running flashed through my vision. The sky had turned into a reddish black as thousands of explosions covered the heavens and the ground. Thousands of people were under there fighting. Spilling blood and ripping flesh at one another. A bright light rose above then like a bubble, burst into tiny particles of bright light. It seemed like a firework bursting in the heavens.

Suddenly, I stood in front of a chapel. Even though the surroundings had been damaged to the point of no return, this chapel remained unscathed. My foot took me inside and I saw a black coffin placed neatly on the altar, the surroundings were bare, dusty and dark. The sounds of the battle outside couldn't even be heard from inside the chapel.

When I slowly walked inside, sunlight begun to flashed through the windows as if no war had just commenced outside. People wearing black started to appear on the vacated rows of seats. The priest who stood in the altar started to talk but I couldn't even hear anything, only the cries of the people were audible to my ears.

When I reached the coffin placed on the center, I saw it was someone wearing black clothes and has a long white hair, but I couldn't even see his face. It was brightly lit of white light. I wanted to touch it but my hands wouldn't move.

When I felt something watching me, I turned around and was met with a big wolf. Its fur was a color of black and stood two meters tall. It has twelve blazing blue flame orbs encircling his back as he sat there watching me. His eyes were a color of gold that had me stare in awe.

Before I could react, this wolf raised its palm and fell down on me as if scratching my existence away. I saw blood spurt out of me but I couldn't even feel anything. My vision became dark.

The next time I woke up, I was in a field where golden colored flowers stretched out into the horizon. The wind carried the fragrance of the flowers and its petals flew into the air. The sky was bluer than it could be and there was not even a cloud present in sight.

I felt someone beside me. I looked up and saw that it was a man. But due to the sunlight glaring down, I couldn't even see his face. His flesh touched mine but I couldn't feel anything. I couldn't feel the warmth from those flesh...

"Wake up..."

Huh?

"Wake up..."

"Wake up young master!"

With his thundering voice, the body snuggly lying under the blanket immediately bolted awake on the bed with a shout. Beads of sweat rolled down his forehead as his hair stick out in every possible way on his head. His eyes frantically searched for the clock around the room. Seeing the time, he immediately cursed silently.

Damn! I missed the daily horoscope program!

"Young master, I had already prepared your bath and meal, please get off the bed to prepare for school." Darius voiced out with a smile plastered on his handsome face.

Darius Siege. A redhead with a pale face. Making him look like a human male doll. He is the households butler and was appointed to be a servant to the second young master of the Garette household.

Hiro Nicholas Garette was the second son of the head of the Garette family. Although a young master in name, his behaviour isn't befitting of that young master. His mouth has no filter and likes to curse a lot. A handsome/beautiful troublemaker who likes to read his horoscope. His brown locks hang loosely on his pretty face while his skin was smooth and pale. His irises were a pair of  lightest brown while his lips were pinkish. Truly, a beautiful storm to recon with.

After realizing what his butler had just said, his eyes went wide and his hands immediately flew to his head to clutch his bedhead.

"Shit school!"

He cursed and jumped off from the bed. He made his way into the bathroom, took a quick bath, ate his breakfast and quickly headed downstairs to catched his ride to school.

Darius was standing on the entance and when he saw the young master, he quickly went in front of this boy who stood just below his chin. He quickly fixed the crooked green tie and dusted some invisible dust on his dark green coat.

"You're good to go young master. Do your best at school." Hiro frowned. Fuck! Don't act like my dad you cocky butler!

With a grumpy face, he made his way inside the black Audi, sitting at the passengers seat. It was old Morel whose always giving him a ride since his dad was an over protective bastard and wouldn't even buy him a car to drive on his own.

His Father's reason? For his son not to commit suicide on the streets.

"You're still young Hiro! You will have it when you aged 18 and get your licensed... what if you get into an accident... what if blah blah blah!"

Hiro heaved a sigh of frustration. He might have been too loud that Morel noticed it from his side.

"Any problems young master?"

Hiro rolled his eyes as he slumped back into his seat. His back hitting the leather seat of the car then crossed his arms over his chest, annoyed.

"Spell problem? I say D.A.R.I.U.S! DARIUS! He's such a pain in the ass. He just likes to mimic my old man to annoy me!" Hiro waved his hand around while complaining.

Morel laughed. "Well, he's the guy entrusted by your father to take care of you."

He sighed again. "Speaking of my old man, I didn't even remember that jerks face anymore. He hasn't been home for -I don't know how long!- I wouldn't be shocked if he's dead or alive because it felt like he didn't even exist in the first place."

Morel went silent as he focused himself on driving so Hiro decided to sit silently on his side as he watched the sceneries passed by like a blur.

--

School. Just from the word and its spelling makes you wanna pull your hair and cursed your existence.

Why do we need to learn so many complicated problems when life is already a problem, so complicated that multiple numbers of people wanted to commit suicide.

Why don't we focus on enhancing our skills by hands on activities? Do X and Y and pythagorean theorem helps the world to be a better place? Absolutely NO. We'll still turn to ashes one day!

One's future is not measured by how intelligent you are in finding X and Y. Its about how wise you are in adapting to challenges!

Well, enough with that. I'm still thankful that this kind of institution exist because I really don't wanna stay at home with Darius.

These were the words echoing inside Hiro's mind the whole ride to school. Even Morel could sense that this young master beside him wasn't thinking right from how dark the atmosphere he emits.

Since Hiro arrived early, the classroom was still silent and has less number of students. As he sat down on his chair on the corner just beside the window, he took out a random poetry book from his bag and scanned it.

"Hey hey hey! Our Hiro is acting like a diligent student oh? Just like its name, a hero."

Hiro put his book down and faced that annoying voice and very annoying existence with a cold look.

"Shut it Peter! My name doesn't concern you!"

"Oh... you've been quite the talk in school from saving the campus goddess from falling off the stairs. How wonderful!"

It wasn't my intention to save her. Heck! I wouldn't even mind her falling off the stairs even if she were to ask for my help. I would gladly ignore her! Its just that I was walking on the same stairs that time where she fell, she landed on top of me! How heroic was that?! And the students who saw my supposed heroic deed exaggerated the whole story then spread it like wildfire!

Yeah! Bullshit!

Hiro had clutched his book tightly that his pale knuckles became even more paler but his features could still be seen as cold and calm on the outside surface. While gritting his teeth he spoke.

"Will you just shut up Peter? If your so jealous of my heroic deed, why don't you go and stand on the stairs and wait for some fat ass to land on your back so that everyone can also gossip about your rotten existence!"

Hiro stated angrily and gave a sinister smile in the end. That might have snapped the last string holding unto Peter's sanity when Hiro saw a vein bulge out from the side of Peter's forehead. And like lightning, before Hiro could evade, Peters hands gripped his collar and lifted him off from his chair. Their fellow classmates gasps in horror and some boys started to encircle the two, anticipating for a fight to began.

"I'm gonna make your mouth burst with blood Garette, you should remember that!" Peter hissed, his eyes becoming more narrower as he looked at Hiro.

Hiro loves challenges. Heck! Making this guy angry was also amusing to the point that he wanted to rejoice. With an arrogant look, Hiro faced Peter head on. "Oh? Let's see about that Norlan."

Peter raised his fist and quickly came down right into Hiro's face. He didn't even blink and he wasn't even scared while the students crowding around them were on the verged of whether calling a teacher or just leave them be.

Peter's first punch landed on Hiro's lower cheek, making his lip burst and spill blood. A chorused of gasps and shouting permits the air. Peters fist raised again, then quickly came down on his smooth face. Hiro closed his eyes but nothing made contact on his flesh. When he opened his eyes, Hiro saw their history teacher Mr. Liao holding unto Peter's arm.

"Mr. Garette and Mr. Norlan! Come to the office right now!" His thundering voice echoed in the classroom making the crowd dispersed in fright from the aura Mr. Liao was emitting.

Peter loosened his grip on Hiro's collar and he stumbled down the floor. It was like all the energy he had, depleted in just one go. A pair of hands held Hiro and pulled him up to stand. He was so bewildered that Mr. Liao helped him up that Hiro couldn't utter a word of gratitude. His face even showed an expression that he haven't seen on him before. It was like he was being sorry for what happened.

Usually, this man would be cold and stoic. This expression of his was rare!

Hiro stood there stunned for a minute before a classmate of his interrupted him. He recovered his senses and quickly followed Mr. Liao and Peter on the way to the office. As they walked, Hiro's eyes were planted on the two backs of the persons walking ahead of him.

Another problem has struck me again...
