VALENTINA

We are all currently sitting in the cafeteria in lunch break and staring at each other without saying anything.

Stupid. I know.

"I think I need to get laid." Nia said and we all looked at her in disbelief.

"Seriously?! You're thinking about fucking someone right now?" Cody snapped.

"Its not like we are doing anything productive by staring anyway." She shrugged and I laughed.

Thats Nia.

This is quite expected with her.

"I think we should ask for help guys." Eric said.

"And who's going to help you my dear?" Emma asked rolling her eyes.

"Luciano." Eric replied and looked at me.

"Wait what!?" I exclaimed a little loudly.

All of them looked at me as if I'm overreacting. I can't ask him for anything. He does not need to know everything about me this soon.

"That's the only option." Emma stated.

"No. That's not happening. Nobody needs to know this part of our lives. We will think about something." I said coldly.

"I found a very little info on him." Cody said and I nodded for him to continue.

"He is back. That's true but he is getting support from someone. He didn't have anything left after what happened. He didnt have a family so no support from them either." Cody explained.

"So he is getting support from someone really strong. Did you find a location or anything?" I asked looking at him.

"Nope. They have literally cleared everything related to him. Its like he never existed." Cody gulped.

"Isn't that weird guys? Who could have helped him?" Emma whispered.

"Here is what we are going to do. We are moving out of our parents place. We will stay at the place we bought a year ago. Its not safe for our family if we stay there." I explained.

"Alright. When are we moving out?" Vanessa asked.

"In two days? The place needs to be cleaned up for our stay and we need to tell our parents so I think two days will do. We stay in contact all the time till then." I concluded and everyone nodded in understanding.

We all bought a place for us a year ago with all the money we make in street fighting and racing. Our parents contributed too as we needed some more money to buy it so they know and they didn't really have a problem as long as are all together.

I talked to my parents and they agreed to let me go but David made a fuss about it as he didn't want me to stay alone with two men.

I dont know why that idiot is so overprotective.

Currently I am practicing for the fight which is in a few days. I can't lose this fight at any cost. Even this asshole who is back can't change that. I have to win.

I get a message notification so I checked my phone to see a message from that asshole again but this time from another number. Looks like he is changing his number so no one can track him.

FLASHBACK

Three years ago.

"Hey Vans!" I hugged her as she entered the beach house.

Its vacation so we planned to stay at Emma's beach house. Its a beautiful place and we all love it.

"I brought someone with me. I hope you guys don't mind." She giggled and we all looked at her in question.

She knows this is our time and I'm damn sure nobody liked the idea of her bringing someone at our private vacation place.

A man came inside the house after Vanessa and stood beside her. He looked at everyone of us and his eyes stopped on me and stared at me as i felt a chill run down my spine. I looked at Vanessa and she introduced us.

"Guys.. This is Dante. My boyfriend." Vanessa squealed at the last part and we all looked at her in shock.

"When the fuck did that happen?!" Cody yelled obviously mad as he is like a big brother in our group.

"Stop overreacting. He asked me this morning and I said yes." We all looked at her in disbelief.

Its understandable. Vanessa has always been like this. She never thinks much before getting into relationships. I mean we don't even know who the guy is. She never said anything about dating him.

"Hello. I'm Eric." Eric being the sweet child introduced himself and they shook hands.

Slowly everyone started introducing and then it came to me but I didn't say anything.

"And what's your name beautiful?" He came forward.

"Valentina." I spoke and he took my hand and kissed it softly looking into my eyes.

He didn't kiss Nia and Emma so why me?

I looked at him and I noticed that he is actually really hot. Vanessa knows how to pick them. I have to give her that.

He has a strong built and a strong jaw line and in short he is really handsome but there is this something in his eyes which is very unsettling.

"Beautiful name but I'll call you Tina if that's okay with you?" He smiled raising an eyebrow and I nodded.

Vanessa then took him to her room and everyone looked at me.

"What?" I muttered irritated at that man.

"Do you also find him creepy?" Emma asked and we all nodded.

"Well...we can't do anything about it. He is Vanessa's boyfriend. She really seems to like him." Eric said.

"Well..he is a hot piece of shit so I don't blame her for liking him." Nia replied smirking.

"He kissed my hand guys."I whispered.

"You stay away from him Val. I don't like that guy. I saw the way he looked at you. " Cody said and I nodded.

Flashback ends

That was the first time we all met him and then everything went downhill after a while because we didn't know who he was.

As he wasn't just any other normal man.

He was Dante Lombardi.

Member of the Italian Mafia.
