This trial was annoying

When we got in we were presented in front of the king himself, Gazel Dwargo

You can't speak unless given express permission from him so we had this short guy who was the prosecutor? Don't really care, talk for us, except he's framing us even though he should be pleading on our case being wrong and helping, must've been bribed

"The hell is up with that minister anyway"

He had his arm in a cast with bandages around his head and a patch on his face, he really went with that to try and make us out as the villains here huh, I mean he was punched what? Twice by Kaijin, over dramatic bastard

Throughout this case I was getting more and more annoyed, I could tell the king's aura radiated confidence, I understood why not a lot of people challenged him and why this nation has been undefeated but I didn't care, with how this was going I was ready to kill everyone here out of annoyance

"The case has been acknowledged and the punishment shall be issued"

This was coming from a old man under the king with a sort of pope like attire

"Kaijin shall be forced to work manual labor for 20 years in the mines, his accomplices will work for 10 years, this includes the white haired boy and slime"

This came from the king as everyone bowed and I reluctantly followed

Right, Kaijin asked if we would settle for him coming back to the village with us, slime obviously accepted along with me since apparently I have to make these decisions as well, bonus is the three brothers will come too so we get four dwarves who are experts in their work

The guards around us pointed their weapons at Kaijin, how many, like 30?

"I dare you idiots to try something, see how well it ends up"

"The punishKent for Kaijin and the rest shall be exiled, they shall no longer step foot in this kingdom again. This case is now over"

Well this is better, exiled is something we can deal with, I wouldn't have had any of us work anyway but this is better since I won't make an enemy of the king and this nation so, best case scenario right now

We were taken out of the nation and then were left to go, which we did

"What about goblin that came with us? Just gonna leave him? Not like I care, just curious"

Slime said goblin will figure it out on his own. I can get along with that, I don't care what happens to goblin, he can stay, die, come back, doesn't matter

Timeskip

It's been a couple weeks since we had to leave Dwargon, stuff has changed a bit

For starters Kaijin has been doing his blacksmith thing while goblins watch so they're learning from him, the brothers are teaching their skills on craftsmanship, architecture, and clothing

Bunch of goblins even came asking for slime and surprisingly my protection, there was about 500 of them which slime had to individually name and then sleep for another 3 days

There is a big layout here that actually makes it seem like a town will be built here. It'll finally look like a livable area soon instead of just tents, though it will take a bit since it takes time, so gotta keep the tents for a while

Though, why do I feel like something's gonna happen soon

"Yep, Veldora just vanished from the cave, no signs of his movement at all"

"You can rest for three days, after that you will go back into the forest and look for any changes now that the storm dragon is gone, do not look over any detail no matter how small"

Outside of the building were 3 adventurers with admittedly pretty bad armor, 2 males and one female while two were complaining incomprehensibly about their boss's unfairness

"But do we really have to go? I just wanna take a nice warm bath and sleep.." This came from the girl in the group

"Yeah we all do, but since it's the guild master we won't be able to just not do it, so we're gonna have to go to the forest either way"

An black haired woman came up to them, she had a sword strapped to her side while she was wearing what would best be described as a white body suit with armor protecting necessary areas, along with a mask covering her face

"Did I hear you say you were going to the Great Forest?"
