"Alright so how did you goblins take on these wolves before?"

I wanted to know how they did it and if they had any real idea of what they were doing and not just pointing weapons and praying to whatever god a monster believes in

Don't know why I was expecting much when they told me they just charged the wolves when they had the numbers to take on one and just used their weapons

Guess i was holding onto any small faith I had in these goblins to at least be somewhat smart but guess not, hell I could even see the slime having a small bit of sweat going down his body out of embarrassment of something

"..wait can slimes even sweat?"

"Okay then you guys should build a spiked fence then as a means of protection, just make sure the ends are pointing towards the wolves in case they try to go through"

The slime had a good point, make a fence and face the sharp parts towards the wolves.. wait how have they seriously not thought of any of this?

Whatever, anyway after a while the goblins were able to make a makeshift defense by cutting the logs while the slime made them sharp from his body, didn't know he could do that but he could absorb things so I guess making something sharp isn't out of the possibility

It was night by the time they had finished though and the wolves would be here any second so it was time to prepare to defend

Slime put up threads with one of his skills that would be the equivalent of a human getting their neck cut with a steel wire if a wolf was to run into it without any knowledge

Me and the slime were in front of the entrance with the makeshift fence right behind us with some goblins posted up on the walls as archers

"Oh great one, will you truly protect us from these beasts?"

This old goblin was really making sure slime over here wasn't gonna ditch them last minute and that they'd actually get help to survive

I mean he's stayed around this whole time so he should probably expect him to stay but I guess it's reasonable to make sure, he doesn't want him or his people to die since they definitely would if we just let the wolves have their way

"Don't worry, me and my friend over here will make sure you all stay safe"

Slime was doing great calming him down, though I was annoyed at what was said

"Oy who said I was your damn friend slime?"

"Well aren't you?"

The slime looked at me with a look someone would give when they think your lying which I responded by just clicking my tongue and looking away in time to see the wolves howl and start coming towards us

They stopped a bit before they got here to look at us with hostility since we were obviously in the way of their prey

The biggest one out of all the wolves came forward and gave us a look of what I assume is intimidation which would work on probably anyone else in this area, except for me or slime.. well maybe just me, slime looks a bit intimidated

"I will only say this once, weak human and weak slime, get out of our way so we can take this land"

"Sorry no can do so if you leave and promise not to come back then we won't hurt you"

Slime responded trying to negotiate which resulted in the wolves laughing then saying stuff like how we're just extra food for them and how they'll enjoy eating us or something

The wolves then started running towards us only for the ones in front to immediately get caught in the steel threads and die from getting their heads cut off, this resulted in the wolves behind them and some lucky ones in front to stop

"Underhanded tactics you weaklings, I'LL KILL YOU MYSELF"

The pack leader then charged towards us while chomping into the threads breaking them, a bit impressive for a monster to break through those but no matter

"Slime I'm taking this one, he's really pissed me off"

The leader then lunged itself towards me with its jaws open ready to bite me, while I could just let it reflect I had another idea

So, in this body I've asked god to make me able to use magic, while it's nice and it's no longer a life threatening thing like the original Accelerator, I'm not exactly the best at it

I've only been using it just to try and strengthen myself as a sort of reinforcement, guess I could've asked god to make me proficient in magic but I kinda like this more

Only using magic as an enhancer for myself instead of really using it to make lighting or something as an attack, many beings in this world use magic so if I use vector manipulation which relies on physics and science I can probably bypass a lot of magic related abilities and skills

But that's not too important right now, as I said I've been using magic as an enhancement for myself since I'd like to be physically stronger than the original Accelerator

He was weak cause his ability blocked the sun making him not gain those vitamins but seems like god helped me with that, I still block the sun but I get the vitamins, weird but whatever, it naturally strengthens the body so I'm not complaining

I'm physically stronger than Accelerator so I'll do this, by focusing the magic on my strength and then enhancing my punch with my calculations I wanna see just how powerful it is for the normal calculations

As the leader went to bite me instead I side stepped so it would start going past me, I then started running the calculations then brought my fist up towards his stomach and my fist connected causing a devastating blow

Straight through his body..

I punched him hard enough for my fist to go through him and out the back of his body.. holy shit

I didn't think the calculations plus the strength enhancement would be that powerful but that's a much better result than what I could've hoped for, guess I'll have to see just how strong I am normally as to not accidentally kill someone but that's something for another time

I pulled my arm out while it had no blood on it thanks to the reflection staying on my arm which may have helped with the impact, and let the body fall to the ground, the slime then proceeded to absorb the corpse and look at me with a surprised and honestly a slightly fearful expression

"W-what the hell was that!?"

"I enhanced my strength with magic and used my calculations, it worked better than I could've hoped"

"Your fist went through him!"

"It worked didn't it?"

The slime just gave me a concerned expression then proceeded to sigh and look back towards the wolves and then proceeded to transform into the big wolf then yelled at the wolves to either leave now or die, guess he was trying to resolve this peacefully even if I did just brutally kill the main guy but can't hate a guy for trying

Surprisingly though the wolves bowed their heads down and sweared loyalty to me and the slime, I can't say I expected that

Timeskip: Morning

So all the wolves were with us in the camp with the goblins while they were looking at the wolves in fear, makes sense the ones that almost killed their entire camp are now right next to them

Slime then told them all that they would work together so that everyone could prosper which made the mood much better somehow, seriously slime is good at speeches I guess

Anyhow he also said he'd name everyone as to make it easier to know everyone while all the monsters were asking if it was okay and all, me and slime were confused but he still said sure and started naming them

The most important was Rigurd who was the old man who seemed to get a brighter glow than the other goblins when he got named, with the magic in me I could see him start to get much stronger but he's old so it may not do much, with magic enhancing me I was able to see monster's aura now, magic wasn't integrated with my body entirely which is why I couldn't see slime's aura, now that it is I can tell just why they were wary of him when we left the cave

I would be too if I was as weak as them, I'd be terrified, after naming the goblins he went to name the wolves

He named one Ranga then immediately started shaking then fell into the ground looking squished

I ran up to him while the monsters were pretty scared and I checked him for abnormalities

It seemed like he was way more exhausted then what he should be which seemed to be a result of using his magicules, so that's why the monsters were asking if he was sure, when you name a monster you engrave it into their soul, so it takes up magic

I took the slime into the main building we were in when we first got here and laid him down, the monsters were worried but I told them to stop worrying and that he'll be up in about a couple days or a week at most which made them all happy again

The goblins however also started to address me as a great one after the whole punch thing which got me annoyed

"Tch, look stop calling me great one, if you want to say something then call me by my name, Accelerator"

The goblins proceeded to apologize and then started saying "Accelerator-sama" what am I some damn god to them? Guess it was gonna have to do though

This also helps me and guess slime was right, its better if they have trust in me instead of being wary of me like before, they have a lot of respect for Rimuru since he named them and such but they still respect me almost as much as him which is fine

Well guess I'll wait for him to wake up then see what happens next, wonder what I'll do in the meantime

..I called him by his name instead of Slime.. heh, maybe he is my friend
