The hedgehog & echidna laid there, Knuckles on top and Sonic on bottom. They were paused. Everything had slowed down for them, Sonic forgot about Tom and Tails, and Knuckles forgot about Dr. Robotnik.

But everything came back... when Tom called Sonic's name. "Sonic!" Shouted Tom. Sonic remembered who was on top of him and kicked him. "Sorry, just got sidetracked." Said Sonic. "You better have been, otherwise it might just be what I'm thinking of..." Said Tails, he whispered the last part quietly.

"Hedgehog!" Shouted Knuckles. "YUP! Time to go!" Yelled Sonic as he jumped into the car. Dr. Robotnik unleashed multiple robots at them. Until one actually did it, and glued onto Sonic's hand.

"Beeping's bad!" Shouted Tails. "I know, I know, I know, I know-" Repeated Sonic fearfully, trying to force the device off. Things just got worse when Knuckles came along.

"Go to hell, Hedgehog!" Shouted Knuckles. "Let me think about it, no you go to hell!" Replied Sonic, kicking him, as the beeps got more frequent. They tried to get rid of it.

"Oh shit, oh shit..." said Sonic silently as he panicked. He finally got it on a rock. "Yeah!" Said Sonic, reaching for a high-five. Tails was about to give him one before he noticed something. "NO! SONIC!" Cried Tails.

"Hu-?! Agh!" Yelled Sonic as he was blown away by the impact

"SONIC!" Shouted Tails, he got blown back with Tom, who hugged the little Fox to protect him. They both saw an unconscious Sonic. "No!" Yelled Tom. "Sonic?!" Cried Tails.
