Knuckles broke the ceiling of the car. "Sonic!" Shouted Tom. "I got him!" Said Sonic. Sonic charged up chaos energy, and jumped out of the car.

"SONIC!" Exclaimed Tails. "I got it Tails! Don't worry about me!" Called out Sonic. "You just have to take the hard way hedgehog... fine... the hard way it is..." hissed Knuckles, as he pummeled Sonic to the ground.

"Fucking, God, that hurt..." groaned Sonic. "Die, you damned hedgehog!" Growled Knuckles as he punched Sonic. Sonic turned the tables, kicking Knuckles's stomach as he did so, freeing himself from the echidna's grasp.

"Uh, let me think about it... no!" He shouted, zipping out of the way when Knuckles tried to punch him. "Why are you so fucking fast?!" Asked Knuckles.

"'Cause you are just a slow bitch!" Yelled Sonic. "YOU LITTLE!" Shouted Knuckles, charging at Sonic and charging up chaos energy. Sonic ended up getting punched.

"SONIC!!!" Shouted Tails and Tom. "I'm *grunt* fine!" The blue hedgehog groaned. "You think your so*grunt*strong? That's fine... *grunt* because I bet your not so fast...*grunt* cause the bigger you are... the slower they get." Said Sonic.

"Huh?" Asked Knuckles, only for Sonic to punch him. "YOU IMBECILE! YOU ARE NOTHING!" Shouted Knuckles. Sonic got his head clear and ignored the nerve-wracking pain the echidna caused him.

"I am not *grunt* nothing!" Shouted Sonic.

Knuckles punched Sonic, stopping him from charging up even more chaos energy. "OW! MOTHERFUCKER, THAT HURT!" Shouted Sonic.

"Great! There's more where that came from!" Growled Knuckles. 

"Great..come at me!" Said Sonic. "With pleasure!" Shouted Knuckles, as he charged at Sonic,tackling him as he did so. But when he did... he paused. And so did Sonic, as they looked deep into each other's eyes....

Their emerald-green eyes and ultraviolet eyes locked. Knuckles's chaos energy died down. The remains of Sonic's chaos energy died down as well. It felt like the world had slowed down for the both of them

Knuckles forgot about his mission to kill Sonic, 'cause he was an apprentice of Longclaw, and Sonic did the same. They looked deep into each other's eyes, and there was a spark of love.

The same one Knuckles saw in Sonic when they were 5...

And now they saw it in each other...

Oh, great. What adventure did fate get them into?
