2 weeks since that incident, life went on as normal, well as normal as life could get when there's three anthropomorphic animals, a blue hedgehog, a yellow fox and a red Echidna, living with you.

Dr. Robotnik wasn't seen ever since. He was gone... he was at the Mushroom Planet, where Sonic was supposed to go originally. It was finally peaceful.

"I win! Again!" Said Knuckles triumphantly. "You cheated." Accused Sonic. "No, I didn't. Just admit it, I'm better at chess." Knuckles smirked as he got up from the seat.

"Yeah, cause you cheated..." mumbled Sonic. "But, I'm better than the both of you~!" Teased Tails(guess that reference) "We know Tails, your a genius." Grumbled the both of them.

"And you better put that in your spikes and chew on it." Tails smirked. "Alright boys- who's turn is it to set the table?" Asked Maddie. "Uhhh... it's Sonic's turn! 1, 2, 3, let's run Knux!" Shouted Tails as he flew away.

"Tails! I did my turn last night!" Whined Sonic. "If anything, it's YOUR turn!" He added. "It is NOT!" Argued Tails.  "It is Tails's turn." Agreed Knuckles.

"Wow, lovebirds. Wow... you teamed up on me..." mumbled Tails in annoyance. "We are not Lovebirds!" The two declined. "Yeah, sure, keep lying to yourselves." Tails grinned.

Tails flew over to the kitchen. "You cheated," mumbled Sonic again. "I did not. You're the one who won't admit he lost." Teased Knuckles. "I didn't!" Shouted Sonic.

"Hey lovebirds, stop fighting like a married couple." Said Maddie. "We are not lovebirds Maddie..." grumbled Sonic. "First Tails, now you? Great...next thing you know Donut Lord will think we're dating."

"Oh hey guys." Tom said out of nowhere. "Finally! You came home! Sonic & Knuckles were fighting like a married couple!" Shouted Tails, from the kitchen.

"That's cause they are." Tom smirked. "Shut up..." complained Sonic. "We are not dating." Argued Knuckles. "Yet," said Tom. Sonic was red. "Stop!" He threatened.

"You are dating, you obviously are." Said Tom, smirking. "I can't deal with this... goodbye." Said Sonic, going up into the attic.
