Everyone was sent on their way. Edward, Bella, Renesmee and of course Jacob would go to the Denali's. While Rosalie and Emmett would try and find some stray vampires that Carlisle or they knew from back in the day.

Alex had decided to join Carlisle and Esme because she did not want to be alone and they were to go to Egypt where they would try to talk to Amun. She knew how idiotic he was but she would try to help. She also had to go and see Harvey. Now that he quit his job as counselor at highschool in Forks, he was once again back in Egypt.

However, Amun was still as thick headed as Alex remembered.  He immediately said no when Carlisle and Esme explained the situation. Alex decided to keep a bit of a down low profile, he already didn't like her connection to Benjamin and Tia.

"Amun, please!"

"I cannot help you, Carlisle."

"I wouldn't ask if it weren't urgent." Carlisle pleads and Alex purses her lips.

"You all must go." Benjamin uses his powers to make the water in their small house pool rise up like a wall to block the doorway.

"I'd like to hear about it. I never get to meet any of Amun's friends. He likes to keep me hidden."

Carlisle smiles lightly. "I can't imagine why." Benjamin makes the water fall back into the pool, and he walks up to Carlisle and they shake hands. "Carlisle."

"Benjamin." Alex cheekily holds out her hand.

"Alexandra." Benjamin raises an eye and wraps his arms around her.

"Using your real name these days huh?"

Alex left Carlisle and Esme at Amun's place after comparing her plans with Carlisle and Esme and making sure that everyone was on their way.

Alex didn't need much time to convince Harvey and together they travelled to Japan to see Toshiro, but only after Alex had taken some time alone to go sightseeing. Something that Harvey didn't question anymore.

"I can't." He quickly says and Alex sighs while Harvey tries to change his mind.

"Come on man," Harvey says and grabs his shoulder and looks in his eyes. "You can't leave Carlisle hanging." Toshiro purses his lips and looks over to Alex pleadingly but she simply shrugs.

"Carlisle asked me because we know you," she steps closer and looks at him pleadingly. "I know the Italians are scary but we need you." He sighs and nods slowly.

"I'll come." Alex smiles and waves at him while Harvey gives him a hug and they make their way towards the Amazon, trying to get as many vampires as they can.

Alex stands beside Jacob and Harvey as she looks at the new wolves. Due to the many vampires in the area, younger boys were turning. They were lanky and awkward and had severe anger management issues. Jacob stops as he hears something in the woods.

"Whoever's coming wasn't invited." He says and turns into a wolf before he runs into the forest with the young wolves following him. They catch up and chase after two vampires who jump up some trees and then jump down and sit on some rocks mocking the wolves when Carlisle and the other vampires find them. Alex' eyes widen as she sees the two.

"Oh my god," Alex exclaims as she looks at the two vampires in front of her. They smile at her and she jumps up to hug them. There were few vampires that she had liked from the beginning, Benjamin was one of those. But these two had come from her home country, it was the thing that she and Pietro had come to found familiar and Alex adored the two fighters.

She had gone towards Romania after the Amazon but she hadn't been able to reach them so she simply send a letter, hoping they would understand before Harvey and she made their way home. Jacob had asked her help because she had once promised to help with new wolves. A promise is a promise after all.

"Vladimir, Stefan, you're a long way from home."

Kate narrows her eyes. "What are they doing here?"

"We heard the Volturi were moving against you. But that you would not stand alone."

"We didn't do what we were accused of." Carlisle says, defending their family.

"We do not care what you did, Carlisle." Vladimir sighs.

Stefan hums with a smile. "We have been waiting a millennium for the ltalian scum to be challenged."

"It's not our plan to fight the Volturi."

Vladimir sighs. "Shame. Aro's witnesses will be so disappointed."

"They enjoy a good fight."

"Aro's witnesses?" Eleazar asks and Vladimir smirks.

"Aww. Still hoping they'll listen?"

"When Aro wants someone from a coven it's never long before evidence turns up proving that coven committed some crime." Eleazar says to the rest of the group and Bella frowns.

"So he's done this before?"

Eleazar nods. "It happens so rarely, I never realized it was a pattern."

"Apparently he always pardons one or two persons whose thoughts he claims are repentant."

"This person always has an ability." Eleazar adds to Carlisle's statement. "And they're always given a place with the Guard."

"This is all about Alice. He has no one like her." Edward's eyes flicker towards Alex and she quickly shakes her head. They didn't need to know that the Volturi wanted her too, or back. They certainly didn't need to know the last part.

"Which is why she left." Bella sighs.

"Why does he need witnesses?" Emmett narrows his eyes.

"To spread the word that justice has been served. After he slaughters an entire coven."

"Benjamin, Tia, we're leaving." Alex stands before the couple and snarls at Amun who doesn't seem taken aback in the slightest, like a few others.

"And where will you go?" Edward asks Amun. "What makes you think they'll be satisfied with Alice? What's to stop them from going after Benjamin next? Or Zafrina or Kate or anyone else with a gift?" Edward turns to everyone in the room. "Anyone they want. Their goal isn't punishment, it's power. It's acquisition. Carlisle might not ask you to fight, but I will. For the sake of my family. But also for yours. And for the way you want to live." There's a moment of silence as the vampires look at each other before Jacob stands.

"The packs will fight. We've never been afraid of vampires." Alex tries to keep in a smile but Jacob notices and she simply winks. The Delani's stand and nod.

"I simply go where Alex goes." Harvey shrugs and she knew that the Denali's were scrutinising their relationship. They didn't know Harvey, almost none of them did. But everyone knew that she was with Jasper, yet here Harvey was the one to stand with her.

"We will fight." Tanya agrees and it doesn't take long before Garrett stands too.

"This won't be the first time I fought a king's rule."

"We'll join you." Benjamin's voice soft.

"No." Amun's eyes widen.

"I will do the right thing, Amun. You may do as you please."

"We will stand with you." Senna says as she and Zafrina stand too.

"So will we." The woman of the Irish clan says. The other vampires start to step forward and Alex raises an eyebrow.

Vladimir leans towards her. "That didn't take much."

"Let's hope it doesn't come to that." Edward shows everyone a kind smile and Alistair snorts.

"We'll see."
