I sat on the ground of the drop ship caressing Jasper's head. The sweat beading down his face which held a look of pain. Clarke sighed before talking.

"Kayleigh you should take a break."

Before I could protest Octavia cut me off.

"Kayleigh you should, you've been in here all night."

"Okay I'll go, but you need to tell me if anything happened." They both nodded before I got up to leave. I had been in the drop ship for so long, I didn't expect to see the sunlight seeping through the clouds. The sound of chatter was heard around the camp. I walked down the platform to the water station where a group of people stood waiting for their turn to get water. I waited there for what felt like forever before i got a drink. The fresh water flowed down my throat like a river. After drinking the water I rambled around the camp. Before coming across Murphy and Bellamy throwing weapons at a tree. Murphy's knife didn't implant the tree. Bellamy made a snarky comment before throwing his axe which did. I walked up ready to make a smart ass comment. Both their eyes turned to me as I walked up with a smirk on my face. "That's not a fair challenge, the bigger the weapon the easier to throw." I said matter of factually.

"Okay Dragonfly why don't you show us if you're so sure."

He spoke with a smirk similar to mine. Wait did he just call me a dragonfly? "Did you just call me a dragonfly"? I questioned whilst waking up to the tree to grab the knife.

"Yes I did little dragonfly."

I rolled my eyes before getting in a stance to throw the knife. I had honestly never done this before. I pulled my wrist back before letting go of the knife. I let out a breath of relief as the knife landed deeply in the tree. I turned around to she Murphy and Bellamy with their mouths hanging open. A smirk danced on my lips before I spoke. "Close your mouths boys, you might catch flies." I speak before turning around and heading towards the drop ship.

As I walk in I hear Jasper's moans get louder I climb the latter as quickly as I can fearing something is wrong with Jasper. As I get up the ladder I see Clarke holding a burning blade to Jasper's wound. Knowing she knows what she's doing I run over to Jasper and start caressing his arm. Octavia climbs up the latter and yells at Clarke.

"Stop it your killing him."

"She's trying to save his life." I yell back. She looks at us apologetically before running up next to me and miring my actions on his forehead. The sound of someone coming up the latter tore my gaze from the moaning Jasper.

"That kid is messing with everybody's head. If he doesn't stop by tomorrow I'll kill him myself."

My blood boiled as he finished his sentence. "This isn't like the ark Bellamy, down here every life matters." I hissed before he turned around and left. A sigh was heard from Finn before he spoke.

"I agree with you Kayleigh but Bellamy's right."

That was my breaking point. I stood and ran out of the drop ship as quick as possible. I walked through the forest until coming across a pleasant log to sit on. I sat their for awhile until i heard footsteps approaching. I turned around to see Clarke walking towards me with something red in her hand.

"I thought I'd find you out here she sighed."

She walked to me and sat down on the log beside me. "Whats up?" I questioned.

"Do you by any chance know what this is?"

she asked handing me the red object from her hands. I looked at the object studying the composition of the specimen. I noticed that there was no roots so it must of been seaweed. I spoke my thoughts on the plant in front of me.

"It's seaweed, it would be in still water." I commented her face changing to a look of shock.

"How do you know?"

"There's no root." She looked at me confused before getting up quickly. "Whoa, where are you going?"

"We need some for Jasper."

She spoke, I hurriedly replied before she left. "I'll come." She nodded running off into the forest with me tight on her tale.

 I noticed in some of my last chapters I was calling the main character Hayleigh instead of Kayleigh. So I apologize for that. But thanks for reading this chapter.
