"Go" -6-

Kayleigh's POV

Come on Jasper, there's nothing out here." I spoke for the fifth time. I had been trying to get Jasper to leave the camp. But all I had succeeded was a few steps. Jasper slowly started walking out to me. "Good job, keep coming." I held my hands out to him as I walked backwards. Suddenly I felt two arms wrap around me and pull me down to the dirt. A scream released from my throat as I hit the dirt. I heard Jasper screaming my name but I focused on the attacker, who now had there hand on my mouth. Suddenly they let go pushing me out from behind the bush. Reveling Murphy. His signature smirk slapped it widened before he spoke.

"Careful Kane daddy's not here to save you." He snickered.

Just hearing those words enraged me. I didn't consider him my father anymore. He locked me up for my whole life, and for that I will never forgive him. I walked forward tackling Murphy to the ground. My body fell with a thud on top of his. But I took no notice to this as I took in the sight in front if me. There lay two figures, of one of my childhood best friends. How I knew this I had no idea, but in the bottom of my stomach I knew. I looked at Murphy who held a similar expression.

"Oh shit." He spoke before turning around and running away. Probably to tell Bellamy about the sight that still lay in front of me.

Salty tears started falling down my cheeks as a strangled cry escaped my lips. I wrapped my arms around my legs and rocked back and forth. I looked up as I heard someone approaching. She took one look at me before walking up to me and wrapping her arms around me. I don't know how long we stayed like that until I calmed down. She pulled away and looked at my red eyes.

"What happened?" She asked while rubbing my back.

I hid the pain it caused. The wounds from the acid fog still hurt. "Wells...... he's dead." I wispered this as my last tear fell from my right eye.

~~~
Octavia and I rounded up Clarke and Bellamy into one of the tents in the camp. To talk about what happened to Wells. By this point I was rather angry than sad. My blood boiled just at the thought of Wells death.
"Why did you bring us here O." Bellamy asked completely ignoring my presence.
"She didn't speak but merely opened up the cloth with the fingers of Wells in it. Tears pricked my eyes but I didn't let them fall. Clarke looked at me as tears started falling down her cheaks. I zoned out as the group started talking. I already missed Wells. I had a tough exterior but on the inside I had a soft spot for anyone I care about.
I zoned back In as Clarke power-walked to the entrance to the tent, Bellamy stopped her short before she could get out.
"What do you think your doing."
"Giving the people what they want." Clarke barked.
"You can't just go out there and ask who killed Wells."
At this  point I was beyond mad. By blood yet again boiled this night. "Just shut up, Wells is dead. He's gone and there's nothing we can do. Do you think this is what Wells would want us to do. I screamed this at the top of my lungs.
I examined the groups look of shock at my outbreak. Before anyone could say anything I lurched out of the tent and into the camp. I couldn't be here anymore, I needed to leave this place.  I ran to my tent and started gathering all my stuff. I lifted my gaze from my clothes as Octavia walked in.
"What are you doing?" She questioned.
"I need to leave this place." Her face fell as I spoke these words.
"Why?" She chocked out as one tear fell down her cheek.
"They killed Wells, who's going to be next. Me, because I'm sure as he'll it won't be Clarke. I screamed. "I'm sorry." I apologized right away, aware that I just yelled at Octavia for no reason.
"It's okay, I understand." She whispered walking closer to me.
She took the backpack off her back and started packing my stuff in it. I stood there stunned, watching Octavia pack my bag. As she finished she zipped it up and handed it to me. I put it on my back as I turned around and started to walk away.
Before I could leave she grabbed my elbow, turning me around. She put her hand on my cheek before leaning in to kiss me I just stood there shocked before she pulled away.
"Go." She whispered before pushing me out the entrance to the tent.
