Part 2

Boy crazy.

If i was asked how to describe the girls in my school, thats all i would say. Because honestly, its the only way to describe them.

Girls here are completely and utterly obsessed with boys, to the point that its not even funny. Like honestly, how could girls be so crazy over boys, what do they get from it?!

I dont get it, can't they just be happy without a boy in their life? no. I guess not.

My mother always asked if i have a guy in my sights, or even a boyfriend. She always seems disapointed when i shoot her questions down by shaking my head.

Is it really so important to have a boyfriend? i can be happy without one. honestly im fine with my life, i have one friend, i have one parent who is hardly even home and beside that, i have basically nothing.

But im still happy. I've been raised to cherish what i have and not dwell on what i haven't. Life should be lived in a positive way, not a sad way where you wonder..

what would it be like if i had this?

Thats not how i live my life, i like to be thankful, i have one great friend, a fairly good mother, the only thing i would change is that she was actually home more than 1-2 nights a week. I have a roof above my head and i have food.

I really hate when people, especially the popular people at my school, complain about their "terrible" lives. Honestly. Their is always someone in the world who is worse off then you, so put a smile on your god damn dile!

'Wake up' Becca speaks, clicking her fingers in front of my face. i groan, lifting my head from the table just as our coffee cups are brought over. we both smile and thank the girl.

'why do you look so tired?' She asks, taking a sip of the hot liquid. 'i didn't sleep to good' i yawn, taking a giant sip. i wince when it burns my throat but still continue to drink it, i think i was in desperate need of caffeine to wake me up.

'why?' she frowns, i shrug my shoulders, letting out another small yawn before speaking. 'i have no clue, i was just tossing and turning all night. i was on edge to, i kept hearing weird, creaky noises through the house and i knew mum wasn't home so..'

she nods, 'i dont know how you can do it! i dont get how you can stay home by yourself basically all the time and not freak the hell out. i'd be huddled in the corner, rocking back and forth slowly pulling my hair from my scalp.'

my eyes widen slightly as i choke on my coffee, she laughs as she hands me a napkin. 'what the hell! clearly you've thought of how you'd be living alone!' i finally choke out after wiping my mouth clean of any spat out coffee.

'i seriously have though! my dad told me he had to go out for a night and i literally sat on the ground and held onto his leg, i couldn't be home alone even if my life depended on it' she states, 'did he end up leaving?' i question.

She quickly shakes her head, 'no! i cried...' she trails off, looking away from me as she lifts the mug to her lips. i quickly place my half empty one down as i burst into laughter, quickly bringing my hands up to cover my mouth as an attempt to muffle my laughter.

'shut up!' she hisses, reaching over and playfully wacking my arm. 'im sorry!' i breath, taking a few deep breaths to stop my laughing.

'how can you not stay home alone?! its honestly not to bad' i speak, she narrows her eyes on me, 'says you! you've basically done it your whole life' she states crossing her arms after setting her empty cup down.

i give her a small nod, 'yea.. i guess' i sigh, finishing up my coffee before standing up. 'i have to go pick up something from my mums work..' i trail off, grabbing my car keys from my purse, Becca nods, standing from her chair.

'im going to go shopping around here, i'll see you later then?' she asks, i give her a small hug. 'yea, see you later' i speak before heading down the street to my car.

'Hey!' someone shouts, i stop, turning my head to the right. i groan under my breath when i lock eyes with the same golden brown ones from school. 'you..' i trail off. he smiles as he stands before me.

'you know.. you still owe me a name' he speaks, i cross my arms, glancing up at him with raised eyebrows. 'i owe you, huh?' i question, he nods, grinning with his white teeth showing. 'yeah, you owe me' he nods slightly, biting his bottom lip. damn.

i quickly shake my head, 'i dont owe you anything, i dont even know you. you can't owe a stranger something' i smile before stepping past him, taking the final 5 steps till i reach my car. 'oh common! is it honestly that hard to tell me your name?' he asks.

i nod as i open the door, 'it honestly is' i reply innocently blinking up at him. he swallows, shifting on his feet before he groans. 'please?' he almost begs, i chuckle under my breath as i shake my head. 'nope' i grin, popping the p.

'i'll tell you my name?' he asks, trying to make a deal. 'you really think i dont know your name? your like the most popular person in the school..' i trail off, tossing my purse over onto the passenger seat.

'oh, you know my name?' he smirks, raising his right eyebrow, his piercing glistens in the sunlight. 'Wesley' i almost whisper, his smile faulters for a second before he crossed his arms. 'ok, thats not fair for you to know my name and i dont even know yours!' he exclaims, i smile wider before shrugging my shoulders.

'if you want to know that badly... surely you'll be able to figure it out' i shrug before hoping into the car and shutting the door, i hear a tap on my window as i buckle up, frowning as i put the window down, leaning back against the chair as i look up.

'honestly, why wont you tell me? its simple' he sighs, i shrug my shoulders. 'i thought i told you, i wasn't easy?' i ask, he furrows his eyebrows. 'i've never had someone not tell me their name, normally they throw it at me' he states. i nod. 'i'll say it again, im not easy. i wont fall to your feet and kiss them, Wesley Stromberg' i smile slightly as he frowns.

'remember how you owed me something?' he questions, i shake my head. 'i dont owe you anything' i state, he smirks. 'but you do! you ran into me and i still helped you up. you so totally owe me' he grins.

i sigh, 'fine. what?' i ask, 'tell me your name!' he exclaims, i groan. 'no.'

'ok.. fine. i could use a lift home?' he asks, i frown before turning to look at him once more. 'im not going home, i have to go to my mothers work and pick something up first..' i trail off, he shrugs before hurrying around the front of my car, opening the passenger door and slidding in after moving my purse.

'fine by me' he states buckling his seatbelt. i shake my head before starting up the car and pulling off of the curb.

'you dont drive?' i speak up after a few minutes of awkward silence. he nods, 'i do.. i just didn't drive here' he answers, i nod slightly. 'so...' i trail off, glancing at him quickly before i look back to the road. 'how'd you get here?'

'i was with my father, but i just texted him saying i ran into a friend and i'm getting a lift home' he speaks. 'im not a friend' i state. he shrugs his shoulders, 'he doesn't know that. you know... if you just told me your name, you could be my friend' he grins, hope filling his voice.

'do you really want to know my name that bad?' i ask, looking over to him as i come to a stop at the red light. he nods, 'i really want to know your name!' he exclaims while chuckling. i sigh as i begin driving on the green signal.

'ok.. ok' i breath, driving into the carpark of my mums work and finding a free carpark. without saying another word i open the door, 'hey wait' he says, i bend over to look at him as i stand by the door. 'Yes?' i ask innocently, acting like we didn't just have a conversation about my name.

'your name?' he chuckles, i shrug. 'you can find out' i smirk cheekily before shutting the door and heading up to my mums office.

*Wesley's POV*

i toss the football to Nick, watching him run after it with pure amusement after he misses the catch, for the 100th time. i catch it once he throws it back to me and toss it back straight away, catching him completely off guard.

the ball ends up far away in a bush, i crouch down on the ground and watch as he scouts through the bushes for the footy. quickly shaking my head i stand up and head over to the stands, grabbing my water bottle and taking a swig.

'Wes!' i hear my name being called by a high pitched voice, i turn to the sound, frowning slightly as Milly skips up to me, attempting to perk out her chest in her skimpy cheerleading outfit.

'Milly' i nod before turning to see if Nick had yet found the ball. he hadn't. 'how are you?' she smiles, attempting to make eye contact with me although i dont allow it as i continue to scan over anything but her. 'fine' i state.

'i was wondering if you'd like to come to my pool party?' she questions after standing in silence for a little while. Damn Nick can you hurry up and find the ball!

'no.. i think im good' i say, she frowns, 'but.. all the cheerleaders will be there? and the rest of the football team, including Nick' she states pointing to the scruffy brown haired boy still scouting the bush.

'i said im good' i snap finally looking at her. 'i dont want to go to your pool party. now if you'll excuse me i have to go help that stupid scruff find a football' i add before heading over towards Nick.

'is the ball really that hard to find?' i question, just as i reach him he holds his arm out from the bush, the ball in his hand before he stands up and smiles proudly at me.

'found it!' he exclaims, i chuckle, shaking my head before managing to get him into a playful headlock, 'your such a scruff!' i laugh before flipping him onto his back, he groans before throwing the ball at me, although i catch it before it hits my face.

'you suck' he states jumping up from the ground, he looks over as Milly jumps around to show her cheerleaders some new moves, a smirk forming on his lips. 'man, she is a hot one!' he exclaims crossing his arms across his chest as he watches her.

i quickly shake my head, 'nah' i breath holding the football with both my hands and holding it to the middle of my chest. 'no?!' he almost shouts staring at me. 'are you insane or completely blind?!'

i furrow my eyebrows at him, 'im not blind, unlike majority of the male population here, i like girls with morals and respect for themselves. not ones that have to flaunt their bodies just for men to like them' i state.

his eyes widen as he stares at me. 'are you drunk?' he finally speaks, i glare at him before shaking my head and beginning to walk off of the field. i stop when i reach the gate, turning to face him. he was still stood completely star struck at what i had said.

'no..' i trail off, pegging to ball right at his chest, he groans when is hits him. 'im not' i finish before heading back up to the school building.

i stroll down the hallway aimlessly until im infront of my locker, i quickly open it and grab my books for my next classes, closing it and turning to walk towards my class.

i smile when i see the girl who had ran into me at her locker, her friend behind her. i stand a meter or two behind them as they talk.

'you know, you should come over my house this weekend. im sure dad would love to see you' her friend grins but she shakes her head. 'no.. no im just going to stay home, i really need to study'

her friend frowns, 'your always home by yourself, you know.. its not good for you', she nods. 'i know, but i just like being home.. im sorry' she frowns, her friend lets out another sigh. 'i'll see you when school ends' is all her friend says before walking the other way.

'why do you like being home?' i ask, she jumps slightly before shutting her locker. giving me a small shrug as she holds her books to her chest. 'i just do.. not that it concerns you' she speaks, looking into my eyes as she lets out a breath.

'but it does, a pretty girl like you shouldn't be inclosing herself at home all the time' i state, her cheeks heat as she quickly looks to the floor. 'i- uh.. have to get to class' she nods before beginning to walk. i frown before hurrying after her.

'hey, why do you always shut me away?' i question, falling into step beside her. she glances at me sideways before shrugging once again. 'because i dont get why your bothering. go be friends with your jocks and cheerleaders, please' she almost whispers.

'i dont want to be' i state, she stops in her tracks so i stand infront of her, staring down at her as she watches her shoes. moving her feet slightly on the floor. 'why not?' she asks finally looking up at me.

i shrug, 'i just dont want to... i highly doubt many of them could even hold a 5 minute conversation even if it was to save their meaningless lives' i speak, she bites her lip to hold back a giggle but it slips through.

the bell rings and she looks back up, her eyes slightly wide almost like the bell had startled her. 'i really have to go' she says before continuing to walk.

i smirk, watching her walk away, her hair swinging side to side slightly. 'Chloe!' i shout. she stops dead in her tracks, turning to look at me with wide eyes, she swallows before talking. 'how do you know my name?' she questions.

i smirk, stepping towards her, 'you told me if i wanted to know bad enough, i'd find out..' i trail off, shooting her a playful smile. 'i guess i wanted to find out bad enough, didn't i' i wink before turning the opposite way and heading for my class.

i chuckle as i glance over my shoulder, seeing her still standing and watching me as i walk away from her.
