"Are you ok?" Rin whispered as the group walked to the location of the demon.

"Yeah, why?" You replied and looked into his blue eyes.

"Just asking because of the nightmares..." Rin said, sounding a bit worried.
You smiled at him and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Im fine Rin, don't worry. I havent had any nightmares since the day you slept over." You said and he smiled.
"Thats nice to hear...but what about what happened today?" He asked, his face showing worry once again.

"Rin- Im fine, dont worry! Yes it was a bit...much, but...it was OK." You tried to sound convincing but in reality you just couldnt get the image of the dead woman out of your head.
"I dont quite believe you." Rin replied and frowned a bit.

"It was just...sometimes humans are weird...I didn't expect her to jump but at the same time it makes sense why she did it." You mumbled while playing around with your fingers.
"Please, lets not talk about this anymore..."

"Ok." Rin smiled at you and took your hand, holding it in his.

"Hey you little love birds, you better be quiet now, we are getting closer to the demon." Lightning said and as he mentioned that you were getting close to the demon, you noticed that you could already smell it.
You looked at Rin and knew that he felt the demon too.

"Whats our plan?" You asked.

"Hmmm...how about...the hunter and prey method?" Lightning suggested.

"Ok, I can be the prey!" You said, raising your hand and your friends looked at you confused.

"Uhhmm, what is the hunter and prey method?" Bon asked, obviously he was pretty confused.
Lighting laughed and then answered.
"I thought you know everything! Basically one person is the 'prey' the run as fast as they can and the demon runs after them. When the demon is distracted the 'hunter' can exorcise it. This method is very effective when the demon is fast and too strong to beat in a direct fight." He explained while doing gestures with his hands.

"Uhh ok...so (Y/N) is the prey?" Bon asked and you nodded.
"And the rest will be the hunters! Lets go!" Lightning said enthusiastically.

You ran as fast as you could and it didnt take long until the demon was devoured by bright blue flames.
You looked at the blue flames, still amazed by their beautiful even though you had seen them hundreds of times before.

"We should head back now, we still have a lot of studying to do!" Bon said and the rest nodded.
"Why did we even had to come?! (Y/N) and Lighting could have easily done this alone!" Rin grumled and you giggled.

"You dont like going on missions with me?!" You joked and he immediately defended himself.
"No! Thats not what I meant!"

"I know." You kindly smiled at him and he relaxed again.
"We could go to my dorm and study together..." Rin suggested.

"Sounds great! Will you be joining us (Y/N)? You would be a big help..." Bon asked and you shook your head.
"Im sorry, but I still have some things to do."

Bon put a hand on your shoulder and looked into your eyes.
"Please dont overwork yourself...have some free time as well, I think today was already enough work for you." He said and you smiled.
"Thanks for worrying about me Ryuji, I will try to pamper myself after work, but I really need to do some things before that." You said and he nodded, and hugged you.
"Just don't forget to take care of yourself, if you need to talk-"

"I know, I can always talk to you!" You said with a smile and Ryuji lightly kissed your forehead.

"See ya!" You yelled as they walked  towards Rins dorm when you had come back to tokyo.

Lighting and you walked back to the Japan branch together, and like always, Ligniting was very talkative.
"You once said that we humans are weird, how did you mean that?" He asked with a smirk.

"I dont know...humans are so weak and can die so easily...but they don't take care of themselves and are reckless..." you said and Lightnings smirk got even bigger.

"We are here for a good time, not a long time!" He said with a smile.

"Some humans have weird beliefs and views...they don't treat each other the same...kill each other and only care for themselves...but you know whats the worst? I still sometimes think I'm one of them." You said and Lightning looked at you with an confused expression.
"I was raised by humans...they taught me that I need to wear protective gear even tough Im immortal, that never made sense to me. I have the fears of humans...Im still afraid to die...." you mumbled.

"You are right...thats weird!" Lighting said.
"If you look at it like this...yes humans are corrupt, racist, egocentric and...just awful, but then there are also humans that help others and make a change." 

"I wasn't saying that all humans are bad, if I would think that I wouldnt be friends with Ryuji and the others..." you mumbled.

"Have you talked to your brother?" The topic change was so sudden and not smooth at all that you couldnt help but just stare at Lightning for a moment.

"What...I mean yes, hes aware of the fact that Im not dead...he wasnt even that surprised."

"Good to hear that!" He said and then said that he would stop by at a fast food restaurant to eat a burger and told you to walk to the headquarter alone.

"He can be so weird..." you mumbled to yourself.

You were glad when you could finally go home after working the whole day. It was akready dark outside when you stepped through the front door of your little house.
You decided to take a warm and relaxing bath.
You lit some candles in the bathroom, turned off the lights, took off your clothes and submerged your body in the warm water.
Your muscles relaxed and you listened to the silent piano music that you had put on.

After almost an hour you got out of the bath and dried your body with a soft towel.
You put on some shorts and a hoodie and went downstairs to drink a glass of water before going to bed.

But something was off, you immediately noticed that something wasn't normal.
You could feel the cold air entering your home through a open window.
Someone was inside your house, and they defintely had no good intentions.

You silently walked into the kitchen, opening the drawer as quiet as possible and pulling a knive out of it.
You could hear the floorboards creak upstairs, and knew that whoever had broken into your home was in your bedroom right now.
Your hands held onto the knive tightly as you thought about what do.
Should you call? The police? Or should you just fight the intruder alone?
You decided to do the latter and slowly walked up the stairs, making as little noise as possible.

You looked through the half opemed bedroom door and could see the person standing infront of your bed. It was too dark in the room to tell if they were male or female, you could only tell that they were slightly bigger than you and held a knive.
What did they want? Did they want to kill you? Kidnap you?
One thing was for sure, they belonged to the Illuminati.

You sneaked up behind the person, and pulled them into a headlock. They grunted and struggled to get out of your grip.
"What do you want from me?" You asked as your hands got tighter around their neck, but the person didn't answer.
They managed to stab your thigh with the knive, making you cry out in pain and let go of their head.

They tackled you to the ground and pulled out another knive but before the person could stab you, they got punched in the face.
You punched as hard as possible, defintely breaking their nose and the person stumbled back.
But not even a minute passed before they tried to attack you again.
They swung the knive at you, but you grabbed their arm and twisted it, making them scream from the pain.

But you didnt get any time to relax and breathe because they immediately jumped towards you and put their hands on your neck, trying to choke you.
You punche them over and over again until your knuckles bled and they let go.

"What do you want?" You asked once again, through gritted teeth.
"Shut up!" They shouted and lunched you in the face, almost knocking you out.

You screamed and pushed them away from you, but they held onto your body tightly and the two of your rolled down the stairs.
The intruders body hit a glass cabinet that tripped over and knocked them out.

You took a deep breath before getting up, the kinve was still in your leg and you felt nauseous and dizzy.
"I should call someone..." you mumbled as you stared at the body of the intruder that was buried under the cabinet.

You thought about who to call and came to the conclusion that it would be best to call Mephisto.

"(Y/N)! Why is my favorite angel calling me this late?" He asked and you huffed.
"Someone broke into my house..." you muttered into your phone.

"Are they still there?"
"Yup, they are unconscious....I think..." you said.
"I'll send someone to get the two of you!" Mephisto said and then hung up.

After not even ten minutes two excorcist came by your house to pick you and the intruder up, they were still unconscious, so it was easy to get them into the back of the car.
When they pulled off the hood of the person you could see that it was a woman. And that you had indeed broken her nose.

You were brought to Mephistos office, where a surprise waited for you.

"Are you ok?" Rin asked, lookimg you up and down with a worried expression.

"Yeah...why are THEY here?" You asked, looking at Mephisto.

"Well they could also be in danger...so I thought I should contact them." He shrugged his shoulders.
"Well talk about everything after your wounds are treated...I dont want you to bleed all over my office..." Mephisto said and a woman came in. You knew her, she was a doctor at true cross hospital and a pretty good person.

"Please come with me (Y/N)." She said with a kind smile and you nodded.
"Can I come too?" Rin asked amd you gestured him to follow you.

Rin ended up carrying to the room where the doctor tried to take out the knive in your leg.
But you quickly realized that the knive had barbs on it, making it a bit harder to get it out.

You screamed and muttered Curse words while the doctor tried to get it out but it was just stuck in your leg.
Rin held your hand the whole time while telling you that you were doing great.
But after half an hour of trying the get the knive out of your body you all gave up hope.

"I think we need to cut the knive out..." the doctor said and you groaned.
"Ok...I just want this to not be part of my body for eternity...so do whatever is necessary I guess." You muttered and she nodded and walked out of the room to get some supplies.

"Are you ok?" Rin asked, sqeezing your hand lightly to get your attention.

"Yeah...don't worry about me." You smiled at him.
"You know that I can't stop worrying about you!" He said with furrowed eyebrows.
"I know...thanks for being there Rin." He smiled at your words.
"Thats my job as your boyfriend."

"Rin?" You asked softly and he hummed in response to tell you to continue talking.

"Do you think the others are in danger?"

"I mean I don't hope so...but I think so...but I'm sure Mephisto has a plan!" He replied and your lips formed a weak smile.

"I really hope so..."
