Your whole body hurt when you woke up.
"Uhhhh where am I?" You mumbled as you tried to open your eyes.

"In your bed, you fell asleep while I carried you here. Your aunt cleaned you up a bit and Isaac treated you wounds." Rin said, je was sitting on a chair next to your bed, holding your hand.

"Rin...?" You turned your head to look at him.

"Don't worry, I'm here!" He smiled at you, making you blush.

"Are you hurt?" You asked him.

"You ask me if I'm hurt?!" He laughed, but noticed that you were serious. "Just a few scratches that have healed already, seems like you are not to only one that can heal really fast!" He smirked.

"Your body heals way faster than mine...I'm jealous!" You laughed.

"How are you feeling?" Rin asked, he now looked worried.

"Like shit! Everything hurts but I live so I guess everything is fine." You smirked. You truly felt awful.

"All of were really worried about you...I still am worried!" Rin squeezed your hand.

"I'm sorry that I made you worry...I didn't expect to get that hurt..."

"You expected to get hurt?!"

"Of course, it's a fight after all. I didn't expect to die tho....I probably disturbed all of you." You were a bit embarrassed.

"Oh believe me it was more than disturbing to see you die!" Tears filled Rins eyes.

"Oh no please don't cry Rin! It's ok, I'm ok!" You sat up and hugged him. Rin cried onto your shoulder and held onto your body tightly.
You ruffled his hair and rubbed your hand up and down his back to calm him down.

"You know to be fair, you worried me quite a lot too. Why did you guys split up?"

"I don't know, at one point the group was gone and it was just Bon and I and then we heard Shiemis scream..." Rin explained.

"You really need to be more careful, you damn idiot..."

"I know..." he mumbled. "I need to become stronger and learn how to controll my flames...so I can protect all of you, so I can protect you...so you never have to die again!" He said as he looked into your eyes with a determined look.

"I believe in you, you are so incredibly strong Rin...you are amazing!" You smiled kindly.

"Oh you don't know how amazing you are! You are literally an angel! Like I still can't really believe it and you told me a while ago!" He laughed and smiled.

And then for a momen neither of you said anything, you just held each other.
"You are burning up..." Rin mumbled, putting his hand on your forehead.

"Huh?" You didn't know what he was talking about.

"You have a fever, probably because it's hard for your body to heal all those wounds. Stay here, I am getting something!" Rin said, stood up and left the room.

After a while he came back with a bucket of water and a piece of cloth.
"Don't worry I'll take care of you!" He gave you taht damn smile that made you want to melt into a puddle and caused your head to turn cherry red.
"Oh are you ok, you are so red...just lean back and relax." Rin said as he sat down the bucket and wetted the cloth.

"I hope this helps you feel a bit better..." he mumbled while pushing your hair to the side and lying the wet cloth on your forehead.

"I think you should go and sleep now..." you said as Rin sat down on the chair again.

"I will stay until you are asleep and then go to bed, ok?" He smiled as he looked at you.

"Ok...but you really need to rest. It's been a hard day for you as well..." you mumbled and closed your eyes. But no matter how hard you tried you just couldn't sleep.

"I can't fall asleep!" You huffed.

"Uhhhm...Can I try something?" Rin nervously asked and you nodded.

Rin got up from the chair and lied down next to you, wrapping his arms around you.
You blushed and were stiff as a plank at first, but got used to the body contact very quickly and wrapped your arms and legs around him. The two of you hd a tight grip on each other, which felt really good.
After a moment you fell into a deep slumber, and not only were you sleeping, so was Rin.

The next day you woke up in the afternoon. You blushed when you saw that Rin had spent the whole night, sleeping in your bed.

Your pain was almost gone and all of the smaller wounds were completely gone.
You tried to get out of the bed as quietly as you could so you wouldn't wake up Rin. He just looked way to cute when he was sleeping, so peaceful.
You covered him up with the blanket, got dressed and went downstairs.

Everyone was still asleep, even Yukio which surprised you since he was always up really early.
"Hey Isaac!" You said as you walked into the room with the big sliding doors.

The doors were open and Isaac was sitting on the wooden terrace.

"Oh hey (Y/N), how are you feeling?" He turned around to face you.

"Better than yesterday. Most of the wounds have completely healed and the rest will be gone tomorrow." You smiled at your brother and sat down next to him. You let your legs hang over the edge, swinging them around like a little kid.

"Thats nice to hear considering that you even had a fever yesterday." He smiled at you.

"How do you know about that?" You were pretty confused.

"Oh, yesterday Rin asked me for a bucket and a piece if cloth and said that you had a high fever. He said that he would care for you and I contemplated wether I should help him or not but thought I would let you enjoy this moment." Isaac explained with a big smile.

"Thanks bro, you are the best!" You gave him a big hug. "It really was sweet how he cared for me..."

"He slept in your bed..."

"Nothing happened, I promise!" You blushed madly.

"Heh, if you say so sis. I believe you, you haven't even confessed yet. " he teased you a bit.

"S-shut up! I will when I'm ready!" Your face was cherry red at this point.

"I WILL NEVER STOP TEASING YOU, ITS MY HOLY DUTY AS YOUR BROTHER!"Isaac said in a weirdly deep voice while posing.

"You are such a silly idiot!" You giggled.

"I don't wanna ruin the good mood, or vibe as you young people say, but can the two of you get the Yukatas from the attic and wash them for me?" Your granny asked and both of you cringed when she said vibe.

"Sure!" Both of you said in unison, and then went upstairs to get to the attic.

Pulling out the stairs leading up to the attic, you looked up into the dark dusty room.
"Im not going up there." You said as you stared into the dark.
"Theres defintely a giant spider demon up there!"

"Oh dont be such a baby, go upstairs and I will follow." He pointed up the stairs.

"No, you go first and turn on the light."

"Uhhhh ok, just be careful please, I dont want you falling down the stairs." Isaac said and then went up the wobbly stairs leading up to the attic.
"Ohhh its so dark here!" You could hear him mumble and then a few moments later he found the light switch.
After you walked up the stairs that were very wobble and felt like they were gonna break any second, Isaac and you started searching for the box full of Yukatas.
It took you a while to find the box so the two of you walked around the attic for a while, little did the two of you think about the fact that the guest rooms were right beneath the attic.

*meanwhile *

"Izumo? Do you hear that?" Shiemi whispered as she woke up Izumo. The ceiling made all sorts of noises, creaking and stomping could be heard from upstairs.

The two girls went to the room of the boys to seek protection and ask if they heard those noises too.

When they entered the boys room all of them were allready wide awake.
"What is that? And where is Rin?" Yukio asked himself.
"We should go investigate..."

"I don't know if this is a good idea Yuki chan, what if its a ghost?!" Shiemi stuttered.

"Then we fight it." He pulled out a pistol that he seemed to have had under his pillow.

All of them left the room and met Rin in the hallway that was just as weirded out by the noises as the others.
They slowly went through the hallway until they saw a small staircase leading to the addic.

"Owwwwww!" You cried out in pain because you had hit your head on the ceiling.
You accidentally stumbled back and fell down the stairs.

"Well I guess thats the ghost..." Yukio mumbled as he stared at you holding your head and crying.

"I told you to be careful!" Isaac scolded from the attic.

"I know...but I forgot that the celing is not that high up there..." you defended yourself.

"Are you ok?" Rin asked worried.

"Yup, I'm fine. Sorry if we woke all of you up, we had to get the Yukatas for the summer festival." You explained as blush tinted your cheeks red from embarrassment.

"You guys have Yukatas for us?!" Shiemi asked excitedly.

"Yup we do." Isaac said as he came down the stairs carrying the big box.
"And maybe you guys want to help us wash them?"

"Uhhhh why do we have to wash them in the river?" Rin grumbled as he was knee deep in water, washing a blue Yukata.

"Because this village is very traditional..." Isaac and you mumbled in unison.

You were done washing all of the Yukatas when the sun began to set. This was your favorite time of day, you loved it when all of the fields looked golden and the sun was reflected in the ocean as it slowly went down.
All of you carried the Yukatas back to the hotel, hanging them up to dry outside.
You guys talked about how excited all of you were for the festival and about some childhood memories of Isaac and you.

But the festival wasn't the only thing that excited you.
