The next day you woke up with a pounding headache and before you could even look around to know where you were, you threw up into the bucket.

After you felt like your soul had left your body, you looked around the room and realized that the spot next to you was empty and cold.
You started to panic when you realized that Rin nor the others were in the room.

You hectically looked around as another wave of nausea hit you and caused you to puke once again.
Slowly you got up, walking a few steps and opening the sliding door that led to the big hallway.

You could hear familiar voices coming from the kitchen, and slowly walked towards the room. Every step still hurt but you could feel that all of your wounds were almost completely healed.
The sunlight that shine through the windows blinded you and you assumed that it must be pretty late in the morning.

A sweet and delicious smell filled your nose and you already knew who was cooking.
Laughter and chatter could be heard as you entered the big room, as soon as your friends noticed you everything went silent for a moment and they just stared at you.

"Hi." You mumbled. "Do I look that awful?" You chuckled, because everyone was still staring at you.

"N-no its just still so...unreal?" Bon said, staring at your face.

"I know...you'll get used to it!" Bon chuckled at your reply and you sat down next to him, smiling at everyone.

"How are you feeling?" Shiemi asked and you shrugged your shoulders.
"I guess I'm fine...I felt better before."

"Youll feel better after you eat some of my special pancakes!" Rin said with a big smile.
"What makes them special?" Bon asked skeptical.

"I make them with lots of love! And chocolate chips!" He smiled even brighter as he set a plate full of pancakes onto the table.

"This is so delicious! I could cry..." you sniffled as you ate your first proper meal in almost a week.
You had missed Rins cooking so much, no matter what he made, it was always delicious.

"(Y/N)s right! This is divine!" Bon complimented, which was rare.

While all of you ate you talked about anything and at the same time nothing. They weren't important topics, just some nice smalltalk but it felt incredible to talk to your friends again.
You felt that feeling again that you had felt the first time you had met all of them. A feeling of being home and being loved.
You didnt feel alome anymore.

After you were done eating Ryujis father asked you to bless the temple and the inn, which of course you did.
You prayed with him, which was relaxing and calming.
You liked the inn and the temple, you felt welcomed there and it was a bit sad to leave after you had blessed everything.

You all said your goodbyes to Ryujis mother and father and both of them gave you a bone crushing hug and told you to take care.
"Dont forget that you are not alone
(Y/N)! And if you need anything, no matter what, you can always talk to me!" Ryujis father said with a smile and kissed your forehead before you left.

Lighting had told Ryuji that all of you should return to the true cross academy in the evening so you decided to use the time you had to visit some sights in Kyoto.

"See! I promised you that we would visit Kyoto someday!" You smiled at you boyfriend, your hand holding his.
"I cant put in words how happy I am to be here with YOU!" He smiled brightly.

"Woah its so high!" You shouted, exited like a little kid as you were on top of the Kyoto tower.
"Calm down gee..." Bon muttered and Rin just chuckled, finding it cute how excited you were.

A pair of arm snaked around your waist, and you giggled as Rin hugged you from behind. He set his head on top of yours, taking in the beautiful view.
A soft breeze blew through your (h/c) hair and made Rin inhale your sweet smell.

"Its so beautiful here..." you mumbled as you looked at the beautiful view infront of you.

"Not more beautiful than you." Rin complimented and kissed your neck which sent shivers down your spine.

"You are such a charmer." You chuckled and turned to face him. His hands remained on your waist as yours traveled up to the back of his neck. You ran your fingers through his soft hair, staring into his ocean eyes.
Rin leaned in, his soft lips touching yours.
In that moment it seemed like time had stopped.

The kiss was sweet and full of love. Neither of you wanted to pull away, and never wanted this wonderful moment to stop. You were sure that if the two of you weren't in a public place, Rin would have done more than just kiss you.

Of course someone had to ruin the perfect moment and that someone was Bon.
"Come on lovebirds! We are gonna take a photo!" He shouted and the two of you pulled away from each other.

Rin sighed and hugged you tightly, pecking your cheek before pulling away again to grab your hand and lead you to the others.
"Can't even have a nice moment with my girlfriend..." he mumbled to himself and you giggled silently because you thought that it was cute.

You took a few group photos that you printed out so everyone had a copy of it. You ended up framing yours and put it on your nightstand.

After visiting a famous shrine in kyoto and eating lunch all of you took the train back to tokyo. Mephisto wanted to see you all in his office so you went to the academy right after arriving in Tokyo.

"Ahhhh there you guys are! (Y/N) you look well! Dying seems to have made you even prettier!" Mephisto said as he didnt bother to stand up while you entered his office. He had his feet on his desk and wore his usual attire, a white suit and his white top hat.

"Thanks I guess..." you mumbled confused as you sat down on a weird looking sofa. Mephisto really had an...interesting taste in furniture and clothing.

"Why did you want to meet us?" Rin asked harshly.

"I just wanted to discuss what we'll do now." He said with his usual smirk.
"But first of all I'm proud of you
(Y/N), for destroying the Illuminati airship, that was really impressive." Once again you thanked him very awkwardly.

"Ok so whats gonna happen with you all, that's the big question!" Mephisto started drumming his fingers on his desk to create some tension.
"All of you students should study for your exorcist exam and hopefully pass them while
(Y/N) will try her best to show us that she's still qualified to be an exorcist!"

"I destroyed a giant airship, isn't that enough to get my license back?!" You protested.

"Nope, they'll do some tests with you, but I'm pretty sure that you'll get your license back." Mephisto answered calmly.

"So we'll just study for our exams like the world isn't about to end?!" Bon asked and Mephisto chuckled at his question.

"We need every excorcist we can get so its important that you guys pass the exam!" The demon simply answered.

"So arevwe like...gonna attend cram school?" Izumo asked confused because their teacher, Yukio, was kinda gone.

"You learned everything you need to know, if you still have questions you can ask the other teachers or Lewin Light. Use your time until the exam wisely and study as much as you can! (Y/N) you will hear from the order. You all are dismissed now!" Mephisto said and you all left his office.

"So we really are gonna spend our time studying...?" Rin frowned as all of you walked out of the academy.

"I guess so, you don't wanna fail right? We could all study together..." Bon suggested.

"That sounds like a good idea! By the way Shiemi, what are you gonna do now ?" Rin asked, looking at his friend.

"I-i don't know...I guess I will learn for the exam..." she stuttered.

After the meeting with Mephisto the group split up and you went home while Rin and the others went to their dorms.
Rin said that you could stay at his dorm but you declined his offer.

At home you took off your clothes and took a warm bath.
While walking into your bedroom you noticed your phone on your nightstand. You had left it there on the day of the mission.

You picked up the phone and saw a bunch of missed calls and messages from Rin.
