The H-66-C Incident

This was requested by shyreaper108

When an anomaly opened in Copenhagen, the city became infested with the creatures from the Hell Creek Formation.

Tyrannosaurus-rex the king of the dinosaurs was the top predator of its time, but it was not as bloodthirsty as the movies picture it.

(Appears in Primeval)

Diet: Any type of meat.

Code name: King.

Casualties: Two men, one Nanotyrannus and one injured Tricratops.

Both Triceratops, Horridus and Prorsus, appeared in Copenhagen during the incident. Horridus was larger than its subspecies Prorsus, as well as having longer horns.

Horridus

Diet: Plants.

Code name: Storm.

Casualties: None, but injured a Tyrannosaurus-rex during a fight.

Prorsus (appears in Primeval New World)

Diet: Plants.

Casualties: None.

Ankylosaurus was an armored dinosaur that could hold its own against the strongest of creatures.

Diet: Plants.

Casualties: None.

Edmontosaurus was one of the more common type of dinosaurs that inhabited North America during the Cretaceous period.

(The picture below is that of an Edmontosaurus Annectens. There was another species of Edmontosaurus, Edmontosaurus Regalis, but it doesn't appear in this chapter so that is why I did not put a picture of it here.)

Diet: Plants.

Casualties: None.

Stygimoloch was part of the family of dinosaurs known as Pachycephalosauridae. They are best know for the crown of spikes that adorn their head.

Diet: Plants.

Casualties: None.

Dracorex was a dinosaur with a head that resembled the mythical dragon. (And yes I am aware that Dracorex might have been a juvenile Stygimoloch, but since it has yet to be confirmed I consider them to be two different species.)

Male (appears multiple times in Primeval)

Female (what Dracorex actually looked like.)

Diet: Plants.

Casualties: None.

Torosaurus was a smaller relative of Triceratops, but it had the longest horns and frill of any other Ceratopsians.

Diet: Plants.

Casualties: one woman.

Cause of Death: one was accidentally impaled by another Torosaurus during a stampede.

Dakotaraptor was a large species of Dromaeosaurid from the Hell Creek Formation. Dakotaraptor most likely hunted small to mid-sized creatures like Pachycephalosaurus or Ornithomimus, though considering its size it may have also been able to hunt young Tyrannosaurus rexes.

Diet: Small to medium sized creatures.

Casualties: None, but attempted to eat two young Tyrannosaurus-rexes.

Cause of Death: Killed by adult Tyrannosaurus-rexes.

Acheroraptor is a small Dromaeosauridae that lived in the shadows, away from the larger and much more dangerous creatures of its time.

Diet: Small animals, invertebrates and eggs.

Code name: Slash and Blade.

Quetzalcoatlus was part of the Azhdarchidae, and was the second largest Pterosaur ever discovered right after Hatzegopteryx.

Diet: Small creatures, baby animals and carcasses.

Casualties: None.

Brachychampas is an extinct species of Alligator that wasn't so different from its modern day descendants.

Diet: Small to medium sized creatures.

Code name: One eye.

Casualties: None, but almost ate a chicken.

Anomaly incident: An anomaly opened in the heart of Copenhagen.

Before the ARC team could arrive multiple creatures had already gone through the anomaly.

A bull Triceratops Horridus was found roaming the streets not to far from the anomaly, but when a pair of Tyrannosaurus-rex attacked the Triceratops the issuing fight caused them to stray father away from the anomaly.

The Triceratops was able to escape from the Tyrannosaurus-rex, however during their skirmish, the Triceratops was bitten on its frill leaving a deep and bloody mark on it.

But one of the two tyrants was stabbed in the leg by one of the Ceratopsian's horns.

The Tyrannosaurus-rexes headed towards Tivoli. The threat level was rising rapidly.

With so many creatures running around Copenhagen the ARC facility sent more ARC agents to help with the rampage.

A Triceratops Prorsus attempted to cross through the anomaly, but was quickly forced back by the ARC team.

Five Stygimolochs were found near a river and were swiftly tranquilized before being taken back through the anomaly.

While transporting the Stygimolochs through and away from the anomaly, agents (***),(****),(*****) and (****) encountered a herd of Edmontosauruses drinking from a river. The agents also had a run in with a Quetzalcoatlus feeding on the carcass of an Edmontosaurus.

Back in Copenhagen, the Tyrannosaurus-rexes arrived at Tivoli and one of them ate a man.

When the ARC team arrived the Tyrannosaurus-rex was trying to get out of the amusement park and ran through the crowd of people, in the process stepping on another man and breaking his back thus killing him.

The ARC team followed the tyrants to Torvehallerne where two juvenile Rexes were found running away from a Dakotaraptor.

The adults quickly ran over to their children and began to chase the Dakotaraptor through Torvehallerne.

The Dakotaraptor had tried to escape from the enraged parents, but was soon cornered and killed by the Rexes.

Meanwhile an Ankylosaurus found in front of the the townhall and was easily lured back through the anomaly by using ferns.

Later a pair of Dracorexes were found at a train station. They were tranquilized and brought back through the anomaly.

When the ARC team was trying to lure the Tyrannosaurus-rex family back to the anomaly, they ran into a herd of Torosauruses.

When the Torosauruses noticed the Tyrannosaurus-rex family, the herd began to stampede.

As the Torosaurus herd stampede continued, they caused severe damage to the city as well as killed a woman, and one of the Torosauruses was accidentally killed by another Torosaurus during the stampede when its horns pierced the other's stomach killing it.

Thanks to the ARC team's quick thinking, they were able to reroute the stampede towards the anomaly sending them back to their own time.

Tying the dead Torosaurus' body to the back of a truck, the ARC team was able to lure the Tyrannosaurus-rex back through the anomaly.

However when the truck came back out of the anomaly, one of the juvenile Tyrannosaurus-rex followed them back through the anomaly.

Before the ARC team could send it back, the anomaly closed behind it trapping it in the twenty-first century.

The cleanup operation wasn't easy. Multiple prehistoric creatures were stuck in modern day Copenhagen.

The juvenile Tyrannosaurus-rex was easily lured into a transport crate by using meat.

The bull Triceratops Horridus was found near the edge of the city and tranquilized, before getting carried off to the ARC facility.

A Brachychampas was found in a river with a missing eye.

After multiple failed attempts to capture it, The ARC team was forced to use a live chicken as bait.

The Brachychampas finally walked into the transport crate just as the chicken ran out with a few feathers missing.

Just like the other two, the Brachychampas was brought to the ARC facility.

The final incident was at a brewery where two Acheroraptors were found sleeping in the backroom.

Carefully, the ARC team was able to put the Acheroraptors into two different cages and they were sent to the ARC facility.

Tyrannosaurus-rex incident 1: King escaped his transport crate after he broke the lock on the door by head butting it multiple times. After a 49 minute chase the workers were able to tranquilize King and bring him to his holding pen.

Acheroraptor incident 1: Slash and Blade escaped from their holding pen during feeding time. It took five hours to bring them back to their holding pen.
