Let's start with something simple enough. Meet Gargantuavis, a flightless bird from Cretaceous France and Spain around 70 million years ago.

Diet: Probably plants and small animals.

Code name: Rooster, Hen, Fuzz, Peck Peep and Houdini.

Casualties: None.

Anomaly incident: An anomaly appears in a small town in Prince Edward Island, Canada. A family of Gargantuavis consisting of two adults and four chicks travel through and begin to cause a ruckus in Charlottetowne after being found in the local park. The ARC (Anomaly Research Center) team soon responded to the report that a family of "oversized pigeons" were bothering and chasing every single person who was trying to get a closer look at them.

When the ARC team arrived they found out that the anomaly had closed, resulting in the Gargantuavis family being trapped in the twenty first century.

With no way to return them, the ARC team was forced to bring the Gargantuavis family back with them, but first they were going to have to catch them, and that would prove to be a challenge.

Attempts to tranquilize the adults were unsuccessful as they soon ran into the town. The team could not fire the guns without the chance of hitting a civilian, even if they were just using tranquilizing darts.

After that the team was forced to use a different tactic in order to catch the Gargantuavis family.

The Gargantuavis family was later spotted in a potato field much further away from Charlottetowne. The Gargantuavis parents were using their clawed feet to dig up the potatoes and feed them to the chicks.

Using the Gargantuavis's newly discovered love for potatoes, the ARC team uses potatoes to lure the family of Gargantuavis into a cage large enough to hold the entire family.

After that the Gargantuavis family soon became used to their new home in the ARC facility and are still there to this day.

Gargantuavis incident 1: A chick escaped from the holding room and found his way to the men's washroom. He was soon caught and brought back to his family. This would not be the last time this particular chick escaped, this caused the workers to name him Houdini.

Gargantuavis incident 2: Rooster is able to sneak out of his holding area while the family was being fed, he scratches some couch cushions and is the cause of the death of a decorative plant when he knocks it over and eats all of the leaves. The male Gargantuavis was tranquilized and brought back to the holding pen to be reunited with his family.

Gargantuavis incident 3: Houdini escaped from the holding pen and is found in the hallway and then brought back to his family.
