Snotty Gregory Cockle

Okay, so I did another short, but only because I wanted to see if another 'uncle' story would pop up. Looking at the title, however, I'm not fully convinced, this is much better than the uncle's theme.

Snotty Gregory Cockle
Kate Thornhill looked at the enchanted rock in her hands and felt stressed.

She walked over to the window and reflected on her picturesque surroundings. She had always loved creepy Madrid with its quickest, queasy quarries. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel stressed.

Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Gregory Cockle. Gregory was a snotty bear with short feet and brunette spots.

Kate gulped. She glanced at her own reflection. She was a greedy, stable, cocoa drinker with wobbly feet and sticky spots. Her friends saw her as an obedient, ordinary ogre. Once, she had even helped an open old man recover from a flying accident.

But not even a greedy person who had once helped an open old man recover from a flying accident, was prepared for what Gregory had in store today.

The hail pounded like cooking giraffes, making Kate relaxed.

As Kate stepped outside and Gregory came closer, she could see the wasteful glint in his eye.

Gregory gazed with the affection of 115 wild great gerbils. He said, in hushed tones, "I love you and I want affection."

Kate looked back, even more relaxed and still fingering the enchanted rock. "Gregory, get out of my house," she replied.

They looked at each other with barmy feelings, like two modern, many maggots singing at a very callous engagement party, which had jazz music playing in the background and two daring uncles shouting to the beat.

Kate studied Gregory's short feet and brunette spots. Eventually, she took a deep breath. "I'm sorry," began Kate in apologetic tones, "but I don't feel the same way, and I never will. I just don't love you Gregory."

Gregory looked anxious, his emotions raw like a shredded, scary sandwich.

Kate could actually hear Gregory's emotions shatter into 3983 pieces. Then the snotty bear hurried away into the distance.

Not even a mug of cocoa would calm Kate's nerves tonight.
