Polly was not found and Robin lived in the base in a small room next to May's room.May had not talked to Robin or anyone else about this mother thing. One night, May woke up to a soft knock on her door. "Yes?" she said. The door opened and Robin stood in the door.She got up and got on her knees in front of Robin "Robin?what's going on?" she asked in a soft voice."I dreamed..." Robin said quietly, a tear rolled down her cheek and she said even more quietly, "You died and I couldn't do anything..." "Shh, that won't happen in a very long time," she said comfortingly. Robin nodded and wrapped her arms around Melinda, who only stiffened but shortly afterwards she relaxed and put her arms around Robin as well. "Can I sleep here?" "Sure," Melinda nodded and lay back in bed.Shortly afterwards, she felt Robin snuggle up to her and whisper: "Love you Mummy." May gave her a gentle kiss on the forehead and replied, "Love you too." Soon both had fallen asleep.The next morning, Melinda woke up to a little blonde girl jumping around on her bed. May slowly opened her eyes and caught her "daughter" before she could fall off the bed. "Hey, how long have you been awake?" asked Melinda, "I have no idea, but you're hard to wake up," robin replied. "Well" Melinda smiled and began to tickle Robin. "Mummy!" she shouted, both laughing. May was happy, she had the daughter she always wanted.
