tyler took a deep breath before putting the car in park. he sat outside of josh's house for ten minutes before finally deciding to get out. he made his way, ever so slowly, to the front door. he bit his bottom lip, hovering his fist over the doors center. when he finally built up the courage he brought his fist to the door, lightly making a rhythm of knocks onto it.

he stepped back a little with his head hanging low, waiting for the door to open. when there was no answer right way, tyler regretted coming. he knew this was a bad idea. that was until the door opened slowly revealing a tired laura. "tyler?" she whispered, very confused on why he was there.

"uh, is josh home?" the brunette asked sheepishly, only lifting his head to see lauras facial expressions. "ye-yeah he is. you want to see him?" she lifted her eyebrows questionably. "um yes." tyler locked eyes with her before she opened the door up for him to enter. "he's up stairs. he may be sleeping, but you can wake him up." she smiled weakly at tyler who nodded.

tyler made his way up the hardwood stairs. he felt his hands start to shake with nervousness, as he stood in front of josh's closed bedroom door. he swallowed the lump in his throat, knocking on it quietly.

"go away.." he heard a soft, croaky voice on the other side, knowing it was josh. "i-its tyler." the brunette stated softly, as he stared at the plain white door. "tyler?" josh repeated as he shifted out of his bed and over to his door. he sluggishly opened the door, rubbing the tiredness out of his eyes. he looked down at an eager tyler, but before he could say anything tyler quickly wrapped his arms around josh's neck, burying his face into it.

the bright haired boy was shocked at the action, but soon melted in tylers embrace. he snaked his arms around tyler waist. "i'm so sorry." tyler whispered with closed eyes. "ty-" josh pulled the other closer. (in the backseat of his rover) "josh, i'm so sorry. god i'm so stupid." tyler whimpered.

"no. this is my fault." josh reassured with a sigh. tyler pulled away to face josh. they locked eyes until tyler glanced down to josh lips. "god just kiss me." josh stated before pulling tyler neck to attach their lips. their lips moved in sync, slowly. tyler brought his hand to josh face cupping his jaw before running it up and down his chest. he didn't know how desperate he was to hold josh until now.

josh threaded his fingers into tylers hair, before breaking the passionate kiss. both boys breathed heavily, resting their foreheads together. "this isn't your fault. nothing is. i love you so much." josh mumbled, brushing his thumb over tylers tinged cheeks. "will you forgive me?"

"yes, god yes, i forgive you josh." tyler chuckled, taking his bottom lip between his teeth. "i love you." tyler brushed their lips together.

"i wish i could have pacified her sooner." the yellow haired boy held tyler closer than ever before, and this time he wasn't letting go.
