Song Inspiration: Where Does The Good Go by Tegan and Sara

It is only Tuesday.i wish this week would end already. Plus I miss Willow. 

To make things worse, my room happends to be right next to Ashton and Sara and they were having morning sex this morning. It was disgusting to hear them. 

I hear a knock on my door and I think I have an idea on who it is. 

"Come in." 

Preston walks in and sits on the bed next to me. 

"How are you doing?" 

"I was good until I heard the morning sex next door." 

"Seriously?"

"Yup." I say with the "p" popped. 

 "Jules?" 

"Yeah?"

"How did you know that you loved Ashton?"

"I don't have a specific moment when I knew. It kind of crept up on me. I think you just know. It is the moment when you realize that you would die for that person. You would do anything and everything just to make them happy. You would sacrifice your own happiness for them because love is selfless." 

"I think I understand what you mean." 

"Maci will realize what she is missing, Preston." 

He looks me in the eye and says," Maci will never love me the way I want her to and I have accepted that."

"You will find someone one day." 

"Maybe." 

"Let's head down for breakfast."

Everyone is sitting at the table eating, the all of the sudden Maci stands up and says, "I have something to tell everyone." 

"Everyone seems to think that they know the reasons why I wanted to do this trip well let me put some of it to rest. I have cancer and I only have a few months left to live." 

"Is this why you won't be with Preston?" asks Sara. What a dumbass. 

"No that is because I am a lesbain," Maci replies. 

"This is not some funny joke, Maci," Ashton says with an angry tone. 

"Why would I lie?" she snapps back. "Do you guys ever wonder why we all don't hang out like we used to? What happened to us?"

"Life," I replied. 

"Why do I feel like everyone here are hiding some form of a secret?" asks Ashton. 

"Why would you care, Ashton?" I yell. "This isn't some sort of therapy session. I'm sorry that this happened to you, Maci. I really am but did you honestly think that we would all make up and everything would be happy again?"

"I agree with what Jules said," says Preston. 

"Of course you would." Ashton snarls back. 

"You have something to say? By all means say it now." 

"How long have you and Jules been hooking up?" Ashton asks.

"EXCUSE ME?!?!?" I yell. 'HOW IS THAT ANY OF YOUR GODDAMN BUSINESS?" 

"Why so defensive? You two hiding something?" Ashton presses. 

"Stop pushing this," says a worried Sara. 

"No, I want to know what exactly has been happening for the past four years." 

Preston looks and me and mouths "Its your call." Shit. I rub my temples and say, "Fine, if you are dying to know, Preston and I got married after you left."  After I finished, I hear gasps from Maci and Sara. I guess they were not expecting that to come out. 

I look up and Ashton has already left the table.

I am sitting by the fire when I see Sara walking towards me. I have no idea what she wants to say to me, maybe she wants to kick my ass.

"Juliette?"

"Yeah?"

"I want you to be honest with me." 

I look up at her and nod my head, agreeing with her. "I can do that." 

"I am not as naive as everyone thinks I am. I know that Ashton has been harboring feelings for you for a long time. I even know about graduation night."

"I am not going to deny graduation night and nor do I regret it."

"I know. It is hard to see the man you love, in love with another woman."

"Then why do you stay?"

She looks at me and I see the sadness in her eyes. "As stupid as this sounds, it's because I love him. I am willing to over look the fact that he loves someone else." 

"Sara, that is not fair to you. Plus he chose you not me."

"We all make choices for our own reasons. I am sure you have a perfectly good reason for keeping Ashton's daughter away from him."

"H-How do you know about that? Does he know?"

"No, he doesn't and I am not going to tell him."

"And why is that?"

"Because I am pregnant."

"Sara is pregnant, Preston and she knows about Willow. What am I going to do? How did this happend?" I say frantically. 

 "Just calm down. Did she say that she will tell Ashton?" 

"No she said she wasn't going to because it was not her place to tell him." 

"How adult of her." 

"I'm scared." 

"Don't be."

"How can you be calm about this? You saw him and how he reacted to us being married! Imagine what he is going to do when he finds out that I have daughter much less the fact it's his daughter! Then he is definately going to flip his shit when he finds out that you are pracitcally her father figure!" 

"He just needs to get over it." 

"Nothing good is going to come of this, you know? What is he tries to take her away from me? I can't handle that." 

"He is not going to take her away from you. You need to relax, my dear." 

"Better said than done, Preston." 

I know that I am going to need to tell Ashton soon about Willow. He overreacted about the whole marriage to Preston. He has no room to talk. 

I seriosuly cannot wait for this week to be over with.
