LIVING APART TOGETHER (A THARA AND FRONG FANFICTION)

"Why did you come here again?" the man with a dominating aura asked. "Did I not warn you earlier?"
"I came to invite you to my wedding," replied Frong.

"Your wedding? I told you to stay away from Thara. Don't you remember?" the man growled.

"I am not going to marry him. I just came to invite him to my wedding," replied Frong.

"Did you not say that you love him? Was it a lie?" asked the man.

"Yes, I loved him. But did you not say that I can't marry him?" Frong asked back.

"You, son of a bitch," the man cursed. "What do you want?"

"Nothing, I just want to inform him that everything is over between us and I am going to start my life a fresh." Frong replied in the coolest way possible as if he never loved Thara.

"If you are planning to fool me....." the man spoke between his teeth but paused as Frong handed him a wedding card.

"You are also invited to my wedding. Bring him with you to witness my wedding," said Frong.

The man opened the card and asked, "Are you really getting married?"

"You can come and meet my beautiful wife," replied Frong with a smile. "Can I meet Thara one last time so that I can end my relationship with him properly?" He looked in the eyes of Thara's father, who was an underworld don.

"Don't try to do anything silly. No one can move even a thing from my fort without the knowledge of my phalanx," said Thara's father.

"Rest assured," replied Frong, "I am not here to take your precious son. I am too weak to take care of him."

"I am getting married next week," said Frong as Thara met him in the hall upstairs.

"Oh, I see," said Thara as he received the invitation card from Frong's hand.

After looking at it for some time he said, "So does she know about our past?"

"I told her everything and she has no problem with that. I think we would be happy," replied Frong.

"Is your mother happy?" asked Thara.

"Hmm, you know how much she likes to have grandchildren," replied Frong.

"What should I get for you on your wedding?" asked Thara.

"Please try to be present on that day...."

"I can't," said Thara. "I am going abroad on the day after tomorrow."

"Why?" asked Frong.

"To take a break before I start working with my dad. He wants me to take control of his empire," replied Thara.

"I should be going now," said Frong as he got up. "Wish you all the best for your future."

Thara took out a small box from his pocket and said, "I want to return the ring you gave me."

Frong took the box and slipped in his pocket and said, "I will return the ring you gave me."

"There is no need gentleman. Thara can get thousands of those rings," said Thara's father who just came in.

Frong did not stop for a moment further and went out. He was dying to open the box Thara gave him but endured it until he was in his own room. He locked the door before opening the box. There was a ring, but it was not the ring Frong bought for him. Thara would never let go the ring Frong gave him. Frong kept the ring aside and searched in the box. After a couple of minutes he got the real thing, a letter.

Thara put his heart in that letter. He wrote how much he loved Frong and requested him to wait for him. "I can wait my whole life for you," said Frong as he kissed the letter. Thara promised to come back to Frong as soon as possible. But first he had to get a strong hold on his father's business. It would not be difficult as long as he listen to his father and work with him. Thara hated the underworld but he had no choice. He wanted to make sure the safety of Frong. They would be living apart but they would never be separated. Frong was sure that this separation would increase their love for each other.

"Throw that card," said Thara's father. "You are not going to meet him anymore."

"I wouldn't. But I want to keep this card in front of my eyes to remind myself that how much of a scumbag he is. He said that he would love me always but within two days he changed his mind and got ready to get married," said Thara.

"Okay keep it if you want and start packing for your journey," said his father.

"Yes dad," said Thara.

"He was not good for you. After you excel in your work you would get the most beautiful girl. I would find the best match for you," assured his father.

Thara went abroad, but his father sent his men to check if Frong was really getting married. They even clicked photographs and sent them to Thara. Frong looked happy with his wife.

"Can we get married?" asked Thara as he hugged Frong from behind. Frong was looking outside of the window of a hotel room as Thara was busy in a phone call. They met after fifteen years of separation.

"What would your father say?" asked Frong as he pulled Thara close.

"He can't oppose any more. Everything is under my control now," replied Thara as his body merged with Frong's. The smell of Frong's body was irresistible.

"That's good," said Frong. "But I have to get divorced first. Can you wait for that?"

Thara placed a light kiss on Frong's nape carefully and asked, "Will it be difficult for you?" He was trembling internally.

Frong turned towards Thara and replied, "Not at all, darling. The children are now grown up. For last fifteen years I took care of them and waited for this day only."

"What about your wife? What will she do?" asked Thara lowering his eyes.

Frong pulled Thara's chin up to look in his eyes. "She never depended on me. After my brother's death she is taking care of herself. My job was only to give love to my nephew and niece and to make my dying mother happy. Now when the children are grown up and my mother is no more I am free to follow my heart. Moreover I married her mainly to deceive your father," replied Frong.

After Frong's elder brother died, the parents of the widowed lady tried to force her to re-marry against her will. Frong's mother was terminally ill at that time. Her son's death damaged her health more. If she had to be separated from her grandchildren she would not have survived that time. Frong loved Thara but there was no one else to take care of his family. He could not risk his life and thus decided to marry his sister-in-law. He wrote everything on a paper and placed it inside the wedding invitation card he handed over to Thara. All of their phone calls and actions were monitored by Thara's father. They had no other way to communicate to each other.

"You did the right thing back then. Otherwise my father would have killed you and your family. It was better that way," said Thara as he looked longingly at Frong's lips. He suddenly freed himself from Frong's arms and went to sit on the couch. "We have waited long enough to be together. Talk to her and do the legal procedures as soon as possible," he said.

"You can trust me when I say we were never actual husband and wife. She still loves my brother," said Frong. He could not understand why Thara stepped away from him.

"I trust you," said Thara.

"Then why? Do you not like me anymore?" asked Frong. He was still standing on his place.

"What are you saying?" asked Thara.

"You don't have to force yourself if you are not ready to spend your life with me," said Frong. His heart was breaking into pieces as he uttered those words.

"I am dying to be with you. For last fifteen years I did everything only to get you back. You said I am not ready....."

"Then why did you not like my touch?" asked Frong.

"Who told you that I did not like it? I got aroused..." Thara could not complete his sentence in embarrassment.

Frong walked towards Thara and kissed him. Thara was breathless after an intense make out. His voice was trembling when he asked, "Would it be alright if we do it before you get the divorce paper?"

"I think so," replied Frong.

"You think? You are not sure?" asked Thara in an irritated voice.

"I am always yours. Do I need a marriage certificate to be with you?" asked Frong.

"Then can we do it now?" asked Thara.

"You want to do it now? Should we not wait for the night to come?" asked Frong with a straight face.

"I can't wait anymore," replied Thara. He was visibly unhappy.

Frong was getting immense pleasure by teasing Thara but he could not hold his seriousness anymore. He smiled and said, "Don't wait anymore then." Thara jumped on his feet and Frong took him to bed. It was going to be a long day.
