Y/N POV:

"What if they hate me, or they think I'm not good enough for you, or-" I rant but get cut off by a pair of lips on mine.

"They will love you Y/N, but if we want to meet them we got to go now. " Mike said

We are going to Ohio to met Mike's Parents and I hope they like me. I got into the car and Mike was driving. I felt Mike's hand go on to my thigh.

"Relax, if they really love me they will love you. " Mike said

"Okay..... How long of a drive do we have? " I asked

"About 9 hours" Mike said

"Oh God" I said

I turned the radio on and for some reason newsies was playing. Me and Mike both laughed.

_Time Skip_

We had gotten to Mike's house and I was super nervous. Mike held me hand as we walked to the porch. Mike knocked on the door, a few seconds later a woman answers the door.

"Mike your hear, and this is the girlfriend I keep hearing about. She is even prettier then you said. " Mike's mom said

"Hi Mrs. Faist it is so nice to meet you" I said and held out my hand

Instead of shaking my hand she pulled my into a hug. After she let me go we walked to the living room.

" You have such a nice house" I said

"Why thank you" Mr. Faist said

"So what is your life at home like, before you met Mike? " Mrs. Faist asked

"Well...... Only Mike knows this out of the entire newsie cast but I was in foster care till I was 18 then I got a job. And got a small apartment in queens. A few years latter started working for newsies and now I live with Mike. " I said

"I am sorry about you past" Mrs, Faist said

"It's fine really" I said

"Mike, I really don't want you dating her. She is an orphan and she does not know how to be around people. " Mr.  Faist said

"Dad she does perfectly fine around people. Plus I love her and she loves me. " Mike said

At this point my anzaity was acting up so hard core but I pushed it to the side.  At this point I was not listening and I was snapped out of my thoughts by Mike grabbing my hand and pulling me out the door. When we got in the car Mike placed his lips on mine.

"I am so sorry about my dad" Mike said

" It is fine" I said

We drove home and I felt safe knowing Mike will always love me for who I am.
