Third Person:
Y/N and Crutchie are best friends but they are also siblings. They love each other and they protect each other.

Y/N POV

I was walking with Crutchie as we went to get our papes.

"New newsie price, 60 cents per hundred" Albert said

"Is that news?" Les asked

"I can live two days off a dime" Henry yelled

Crutchie pulled me closer to him.

"We'll be sleeping on the street" Crutchie said

"We all ready sleep on the streets" I said

"In a worse neahborhood" He responded

~time skip to the next day~

We started to bet up some scabs, after a few minutes the bulls showed up.

"Cheese it, it's the bulls" Jack yelled

Race grabbed my wrist and he started to pull me away. I then saw that Snyder had a hold of crutchie.

"No" I yelled

I pride myself out of Race's grip and I ran towards Crutchie. I shoved Snyder and I punched him in the stomach.

"Leave him alone" I yelled

Snyder grabbed me and he throw me over his shoulder and started to take me away.

"It's off to the refuge with you young ladie" Snyder smirked

"No" I screamed "Crutchie! Jack! Davey! Help!" I screamed

"Y/N" Crutchie yelled

I tried to kick my way free but it didn't work. Snyder throw me into a cell but I was completely alone. It was cold it had no windows, no light. After a few minutes Oscar walks in along with Morris. They soaked me pretty badly, them they dragged me to the area were everyone else is.

~mini time skip~

Jack had showed up to get me out but I was to injured to move.

Jack's POV

As I walked back to the lodging house I don't know what I am going to tell Crutchie. His little sister is stuck in the Refuge and she was beat to the point were she can't even move. I asked Rapid to keep her safe. Rapid is a friend of mine from when I was in the Refuge.

I walked into the lodging house and as soon as I did Crutchie walked up to me.

"Is she okay?" He asked

"Crutchie sit down." I said

Crutchie sat down and he looked at me.

"The Delancys soaked her really bad. She couldn't even move from her spot on the bed. " I explain

I heard a sob and noticed Crutchie was crying. I pulled him into a hug as he cried into my shirt.

"She'll be okay Crutchie. You know why? Because Y/N is very brave and she is a fighter. She knew that if she saved you she would end up in the Refuge. She knew but she loves you so much that she risked her life to keep safe." I said

"But I should be keeping her safe" Crutchie sobbed

"Get some rest" I said

"Okay" Crutchie said

Y/N POV

I was to scared to move but Snyder said that he would have Oscar and Morris soak me again. I pushed myself out of the bed and I walked to Snyder's office like he wanted me to.

"It is about darn time. You know what I can't stand you." He yelled

"Let me go home" I yelled back

"No because people like you are worthless" He yelled at me

Then I did something you should never do when in the Refuge, I punched Snyder across the face.

"THAT'S IT YOU PATHETIC GIRL. OSCAR, MORRIS TAKE THIS BRAT TO SPECIAL CONFINEMENT" Snyder yelled

My eyes widened as I was dragged to special confinement. I was through into a room that could only fit on person. Once I was inside the door locked leaving me alone in this small space with no light. It was really cold and I had no room to move around. I had a tad bit that is because I am only 12 (if you are not 12 then go with it plz). I curled into a small ball and I started to cry.

"I'm so sorry Crutchie" I whispered

Crutchie POV

I was waiting with everyone to find out if we won the strike. I miss Y/N, I haven't really been myself.

"Jack, with your drawings I have agree to shut down the Refuge." The governor said

And with that my head snapped up.

"Sir, what is gonna happen to all the kids inside?" Elmer asked

"Well they will be sent to families" He answers

"Sir with all to respect my little sister is in there. Is she gonna come back with me" I asked

"Yes" He said

I smiled as I saw a bunch of kids came out. At the very end I saw Y/N. She looked up and ran into my arms, with he force I tumbled backward and I wrapped my arms around her.

"I am so sorry Crutchie" She cried

"It's okay, you're safe and with me now" I told her

The governor walked up to me and smiled.

"Thank you so much sir" I said

"You're welcome son" He said

I walked with Y/N to the lodging she flopped down on our shared bed. We were alone because everyone was selling. Y/N started to let out small sobbes as she laid in the bed.I sat on the bed and I started to rub her back.

"I'm so sorry Crutchie" She whispered

"It's okay because you are home and safe" I said

"I was so scared" She said

"I know, I know" I whisperded into her ear

I gently kissed her forehead and I hummed her to sleep, soon she was fast asleep.
