Jess's POV:

I was at my apartment with my best friend Y/N. Then we heard news about a hurricane is going to hit New York in five hours. 

"Lets get to the closet,  Y/N grab blankets, flashlights with extra batters.  Grab a few pillow, and the laptop.  I will get food and water. " I said

We all got the stuff and met in the closet.  We laid four blankets on the ground and we could cover up with the other three. Y/N grabbed six flashlights and extra battery. 

Y/N POV:

I am so scared but I know I will be safe with Jess.  Just then I hear strong wind it the building.  Jess pulled me closer to him so I would fell safe.  I has holding on to Jess for my life.  I had moved here a few months ago this is my first hurricane I have even been in. 

"Okay so the news app said that everyone in New York needs to stay inside till the storm is over. " Jess said

"How long till this is over? " I asked

"Could be a few hours could be a few days. " Jess said

I laid down and fell into a dream less sleep.

Jess's POV:

I looked over and noticed that Y?/N was asleep.  I covered her up and pulled her close to me.  I slowly fell asleep too.
