This OC is by ayarzanee I really hope you enjoy it and I recommend people to follow and view her work.

Name: Maki Uraraka (first name - last name)

Cute name, I'm guessing from the last name she's related to Uraraka.

Gender: Female

Nice

Age: 15

Nice

Birthday: Jun 14

Ok

Height: 5’1 (155 cm)

Oh we got a shorty over here.

Blood type: B

Cool

School: U.A. high (previously homeschooled)

Oh nice.

Class: 1A (Ochaco & co being in 3A when she starts high school)

Oh nice so she's in the class with main cast.

Appearance: For her casual outfit see the pic below (the one with Fuku). It’s not shown in the pic, but she keeps her right bangs with two fuchsia hair clips.

Ok, sorry I put the picture in a different place. I'll review that when I get there but thanks for providing a picture.

Personality: She has always tried to maintain a positive outlook on things, despite all the daily challenges she has to face. She is often seen being surprised by the most trivial things, simply because during her childhood she was not able to experience all the things that 'normal' people do. She is pure of heart and always does her best to help those in need, often getting into dangerous situations with her friends (and sometimes risking the worst). She also has great willpower and wants to live her life to the fullest now that she has the chance, not knowing how long this will last. She is quite naive and still believes in things that people her age have not believed in for years, like Santa. She wants to become a heroine in order to finally make herself useful, as she always felt like a burden to others as a child.

Oh ok, I have seen this personality before. Basically the sweet neighbor girl or the "childhood friend" personality. She actually reminds me of Uraraka a lot.

Family: She is the second daughter of the Uraraka family. Her sister Ochaco is two years older than her. Her family is not very wealthy, partly because of business difficulties, partly because of her own medical treatments. Despite this, her parents have always done everything they could to help her and one of the reasons Maki wants to become a heroine is to repay them for their sacrifices.

Ok so she is Uraraka's sister that explains a lot. I also see that she has the exact same goal as Uraraka which is understandable. What child wouldn't want to help their struggling parents if they did so much for them. Good.

Past: She was born with a rare heart disease that causes her heartbeat to be accelerated (her heart beats more than twice as fast as normal), which is why she spent most of her life in hospital and even when she was able to go home she was not free to make efforts. As a child she was often hospitalised, which is why she never attended a real school and never had any real friends. She had a central line in her chest all her life, as she had to remain connected to a specific device. Sometimes her heartbeat was so frequent that it made her fatigued and she needed oxygen support. She learned to walk at the age of 4, because before that it was considered too much effort. The only possibility she had of living a normal life was to instal a microchip that regulates her heartbeats. Her family couldn't afford it, but thanks to her sister she eventually managed to get it through the mediation of Recovery Girl and so, even though she was later than her classmates, she was able to enrol at U.A. With this chip she can do everyday actions with no problems, while for fighting she is forced to take special experimental injections that, depending on the need, provide her with one, two, three or six hours of autonomy, during which she is able to do all the efforts a normal person can make. However, after this time has passed, all the damage and efforts made are reflected in her body and it can be very painful. After normal school training, resting for the rest of the day is enough to restore her energy, but when she is involved in serious battles against villains, she already knows she’ll spend some days in hospital.

You can't tell right now but I'm clapping. This is beautiful. She actually has a struggle and it all makes sense. I honestly teared up a little reading her struggle and it's so relatable. I know some people with heart problems and heart defects and it hits home when I read about this. Honestly this is really good.

Hero name: Plasmaki (plasma being her quirk + Maki being her name)

Great play on words

Hero costume: Her costume consists of a black rubber suit, the main function of which is to protect her from electrical attacks (which could short-circuit her chip). For this reason, she does not have an inch of exposed skin. Her quirk would be more powerful if she used it without gloves, but she cannot risk something happening to the chip and had to compromise. The flames, as well as being aesthetic, cooperate with the injection by relieving the pressure of her quirk. The fuchsia "globes" on her arms can be opened to access the skin quickly, in case she needs emergency injections.

This is really good and descriptive. I have the picture a little lower so I'll review it more there.

Quirk: Plasma. She can create whatever crosses her mind with this pink phosphorescent substance, which is in fact plasma. All she has to do is bring her fingertips together and then separate them to generate a creation (actually the opposite movement as Ochaco). Creations are divided into dynamic and static. Dynamic creations are those that are controlled from a distance, such as the flock of crows, while static creations, such as the katana, are held and used for close combat. Unlike Momo, what she creates is not permanent and each creation must be 'maintained', so she currently can’t create more than three things at once (or, if it is something challenging, only one at a time). Other limits to her quirk, apart from imagination, are unknown, as her body does not allow her to use it to its full potential.

I like that she has limitations to her quirk and the addition of being opposite of Uraraka is a very nice touch. However the one thing is the plasma. Well it's a really good quirk that's not how plasma works. Plasma is used to transfer blood through the body so I don't really understand why it would be called plasma. If this is her quirk than I would name it something more akin to her quirk.

How she adapted to her quirk: Her quirk is the same as her grandma (which passed away before Ochaco was born). She discovered it at the age of 3 by accident. She was applauding Ochaco for a funny sketch she had performed to entertain her, when she found her hands full of a pink substance without form (if she does not mould a form, the plasma that comes out is liquid). Due to the manifestation of her quirk her heart had an abrupt acceleration which caused her to collapse. She was rushed to the hospital and it took her a very long time to recover. Since then she has been strictly forbidden to use her quirk, as it is an effort that her heart cannot withstand. Although she now has her heart microchip, it is still not safe for her to use her quirk without an injection, so, compared to her classmates, she is still rather inexperienced in its use, although she always does her best to catch up.

This is good.

This is a really well drawn picture. She looks like she would Uraraka's sister.

This is the causal outfit. Thank you so much for the picture. It looks really good and I can see someone of her personality wearing this

Relationship with characters: Ochaco: They have been very close since childhood and Ochaco, Maki's biggest inspiration, has always been very protective of her, often reminding her that she has a fragile heart and needs to be careful. Maki appreciates her concern, but at the same time the fact that her sister has no qualms about giving her such speeches in front of all her classmates embarrasses her greatly. It was Ochaco, with all her stories about U.A. and her adventures, that kept her company during endless afternoons in the hospital and gave Maki the desire to become a heroine.

Beautiful, it's good to see that Uraraka and her get along.

Fukushima (often called Fuku or Fucchan): She is Kirito's little sister and Maki's best friend. She is 12 years old and although she hates heroes, she admires Maki very much and is always ready to encourage and compliment her. In return, Maki encourages her to like herself, since her self esteem is pretty low. She has a disability too, that's probably why they understood each other right away. Her quirk is telekinesis.

Very cool and that's great that she has Telekinesis. I have a OC in my mha book that bas the same ability.

Team Plus Ultra (the team she formed with some of her classmates)

Cute

Annie: She is the most responsible of the team and the one who usually keeps the others from getting into trouble. She is probably the person Maki prefers to be with at school. She deeply trusts her, and Annie is the only one Maki doesn't feel embarrassed to ask for explanations for little things she doesn't understand. Her quirk is electrification (it is paradoxical how her comfort person is also the one with the most dangerous quirk for her)

I remember you saying that these characters come from a roleplay I believe. Nice, though it's basically Kamanari's quirk.

Kate: She is a sweet girl and a bit lazy (you can often find her sleeping under a tree in the park). Maki likes talking to her because she always gives good advice. Her quirk is the alteration of gravity.

This is also really good but what do you mean alteration of gravity? Please explain, thanks.

Kirito: He is a fairly quiet boy. He lives alone with Fukushima since their parents died, so he was forced to grow up fast and get a part-time job to support them both. Maki is often at his place because of Fuku, so she and Kirito are pretty close. He often acts like a big brother to her and has the same attentions as Ochaco towards her. He is often the first person Maki confides her concerns to, especially those regarding her own health. His quirk is One for all, received from Deku (not a thing to review here, it wasn’t my decision).

Alright, I won't review it lol thanks for letting me know.

Vincent: He is a reckless boy who always acts before thinking. He often gets into trouble and always drags his friends along with him, Maki first, as she is easily influenced. Once they had the bright idea of facing a villain alone, which resulted in Vincent losing a leg and Maki having a bad collapse. It's not advisable to leave them alone, in short. His quirk is half fire (left) half electrification (right).

This is really good. Wait so he has half and half like todoroki and one is fire and the other is electric?

Love interest: There is this boy called Walter in her class, who is quite contemptuous and treats everyone with superiority. For this reason the whole Plus Ultra team hates him. However, this does not apply to Maki. He's always nice to her and once, while she was hospitalized unconscious, he stayed by her bedside for a long time. The team often teases her about her feelings, but Maki always claims that she is not in love with him at all. Nevertheless, she was very worried when he apparently disappeared. His quirk is the control of water.

Really cool

Others:

•She entered U.A. by recommendation (Ochaco is now well known at school). She started classes at the end of May (school normally starts in April) because she hadn’t finished recovering from the chip installation operation.
•She has a sort of wristwatch connected to her microchip that allows her to check the status of the chip, her heart rate and things like these.
•When she sleeps she needs to connect to the electrocardiogram, so that if something is wrong it will alert her. Although her classmates obviously know about her disability, she was very nervous about letting everyone know this fact when she went on that annual school trip in the woods to train and had to sleep in a room with all her classmates, but Kirito helped her overcome her insecurity. •
Once she was kidnapped and brainwashed by the Villain Legacy. During that time Fukushima died and Maki cannot forgive herself for not being there for her, when she had promised her some time ago that she would be her hero.
•Her dream is to open an agency for heroes with disabilities. She hates being pitied or excluded for her condition, claiming that with a few adjustments she can do things like everyone else, and she wants people who might be rejected by agencies because they aren’t able bodied to have the chance to become heroes anyway.

Wow these are some insane fun facts and some really tug on the heart strings. Amazing job.

Final Analysis- Tbh there isn't much I can really say. This OC is honestly crazy good and I love her. Everything about her is cool though the plasma thing must be looked at. I know changing the name would mean changing the hero name too but something have to be done. Other than that this is a solid OC. Thank you so much for letting me review your OC. It was an Honor.
