"Ugh, please don't hate me."
I look up from my phone as Sooji walks up to me, a forlorn expression on her face.
"Hate you for what?" I ask a bit distractedly.
I was in the middle of trying to convince GoldenMKookie to drop the subject of me sending him a snap of myself.

My face flames up as i read his message. Did I really say that? Ugh, why did he give me the feeling that I wouldn't be able to live this down?
"So are you coming or not?"
"Hm?" I look up, quickly locking my phone at the same time as Sooji regards me suspiciously.
"You're always on your phone now. Who are you talking to?" She asks.
"No one. Its just some guy." I finish lamely.
"What guy?" She asks curiously. "Why didn't you mention him before?"
"Because it's not important. We're just talking, nothing more," I say, trying to ignore my phone as it pings. "But what were you saying?" I ask as i unlock my phone again and peek at my phone.
Sooji sighs, looking annoyed again.
"My parents want you to come over and meet Jungkook. They want you to see how 'wonderful' he is," Sooji rolls her eyes. "I tried to talk them out of it but they won't take no for an anwser; at least not until I ask you."
"Oh. I don't mind, really-"
My breath catches in my throat as i read GoldenMKookie's message.

Want to meet up later today? That way you can see me and I can see you?
And we can finally meet face to face?

"You'll come?" She asks hopefully.
"I...."
I trail off, unsure of what to say to either of them. On the one hand, I wanted to go and help Sooji out but GoldenMKookie's offer was almost too good to refuse.
"Please, Mijae. You know I'll never hear the end of it if you don't come." Sooji begs.
Sooji looked so distressed and hopeful...i couldn't turn her down.
"Yeah, of course I'll come." I say easily, feeling better once Sooji relaxes.
"Ok I'll let them know-" the bell suddenly rings, signaling the end of lunch. "We'll stop by your house first so you can change."
"Ok. I'll see you after school." I say, trying not to let the sudden regret color my tone.
"Ok. Bye." Sooji says before rushing to her next class.
"Bye..."
I trail off as i begin to head to my next class as well.
