"Would you... Would you like to come inside?" Making me ask with a tiny blush. Of course, it was not to my house because that would have been weird for me to invite him in so late. Instead we stopped by it be fast food joint, just to pick up food because both of us haven't eaten but I didn't have money so the bathroom was the only option. "Do you need to go too?"

"I might stay out in the rain... it feels better on my bones." He said without worry, acting like an old man.

"I'll be right back..." My words cut out. I didn't know his name. "Have I asked for your name?"

"Don't think so." He relaxed against a wall. "I'm Kevin." He reached out his hand, giving a handshake. I gladly accepted it, his grip was stronger than mine; and he was taking pity on it cause usually you don't give girls a strong grip. "Could I ask for yours?"

"(Y/N)," I answered. "That took a while to just know know name." My giggle seemed to make him laugh.

"Cute name." He added, holding the umbrella over me and the door. He didn't hold it over himself, so he got wet really fast. I pushed it over to him and got closer too for any reason. I think no just wanted to be right next to him. "Don't you need to go?" He smirked as he looked... attractive for that dumb look on his face.

"Uhm-" I started my voice failed me as my mind couldn't come up with anything. He stepped closer to me, his chest against me, how was he so tall for one, and two is he trying to get me to blush? "I didn't want you to get wet." I answered truthfully, my hand setting in his shoulders. "It's cold outside, and I only need to freshen up."

"I'm not holding you back." He ironically spoke as he held my lower back to pull me even closer to him. "But if you want to stay here, I can understand."

"Kevin, it'll just be a minute."

"I just need to steal your body warmth." He muttered, setting his head on mine. "You're warmer than me!"

"You have a better jacket than mine!" I disagreed. "It keeps you dry."

"But yours keeps you warm!" He whined softly, laughing as doing so. My heart fluttered as he hugged me tightly, even if it was for my warmth of course.

Pulling away, I only just met this man today so it was slightly weird to do this together with him. Kevin just seemed like such a great guy already just from slice of life talk, and little jokes here and there. "I'll be right back, it'll just be a short minute." I announced as he held the umbrella over me to let me go in.

"I'll be right here waiting for your return."

Walking inside the door closed as we looked at each other through the glass. I entered the bathroom.
