The Return of Dr. Droid

Diana, Tanya, and Malory were currently in the garage, a surprise was waiting under some tarps and Mal was the one to ask the two what was under them.

"Hey, Tanya, Diana, what do you got under the tarps?"

Tanya was eager to answer the red head's question. "It's our brand-new super vehicles. The Louge and the Duck Stomper."

Diana crossed her arms and smirked as she pointed to the engines behind them. "We'll finish installing the engines after practice, and then we can test them out."

At practice, everyone was trying their hardest to get the puck past WildWing. Though it does seem impossible with a goalie who can block every shot. There was only one who got the puck past the captain and that was Diana.

"Come on! Can't one of you get the puck past me?" Diana shook her head at her boyfriend and yelled at him from the side. "Don't get cocky, Wild! I got it past you once, remember?!"

Grin seemed to agree as he lined up for a shot. "Diana is right. It can be done."

The large duck slammed the puck towards WildWing and it hit the goalie in the chest, making him fall on his back. "I said get it past me, not threw me."

Diana shook her head with a small chuckle and then noticed her uncle come in with a woman. The woman was pretty, but way out of her uncle's liege. But something smelled off about her, and the duck wanted to find out what.

"Now, I really must go." Phil seemed disappointed that his new girlfriend was leaving. "So soon, my little blue chipped love muffin."

Diana cringed at the nickname, she was grateful her and Wild's relationship was normal. Or as normal as it can be with everything they deal with on a daily.

"Don't do anything too dangerous." The woman made goo-goo eyes at Phil and then kissed him making the rest of the team, except Diana, shocked. "Don't worry, I won't."

The woman then walked out of the pond and Diana looked to her uncle with a deadpanned look. "Really, Uncle?"

"Oh, come on, Diana. You never like the girls I bring around." Phil crossed his arms and turned away from his niece. "Because each of them was gold digging bitches, that at every chance tried to kick me out."

"Tina's not trying to kick you out. And she's really nice, I feel like you two would get along."

Diana shook her head and went down to the base so she can take her frustration out on a punching bag instead of her uncle's face.

The woman was going hard on the punching bag as her wrapped hands struck blow after blow, soon she also started kicking at the bag. But when she went to throw another punch, her fist was stopped.

"You okay, Diana?" It was WildWing and standing behind him was Duke.

The female duck took a breath before looking at her hands, they were sore and a little shaky. Thank God there was no blood, but it did sting.

"I'm fine, I just don't like my uncle's taste in women. Anyway, back to practice, you two." Diana followed the two back to the rink and eventually they did get the puck past Wild.

"Nice one, Tanya!" The scientist was celebrating her feet until they heard Phil call for help.

The ducks made it up to Phil's office and switched to battle gear before crashing the party. They saw Phil was being attacked by multiple machines, and Wishbone was trying to protect him. But the Pitbull was limping.

The ducks shot the machines, destroying them, and Phil ran into a closet to hide.

Wishbone limped up to Diana, he was whimpering in pain as he held up his left paw. "Wishbone, are you okay, buddy?"

"Modern day workplaces are really getting dangerous." Dive helped Diana with Wishbone, the blonde duck keeping the canine focused on him while the black-haired duck took care of the dog's paw.

"There we go, you should be better soon, buddy." Wishbone wagged his tail and licked NoseDive and Diana in thanks.

"What would make machines go berserk?" Duke picked up a piece of a broken fax machine and then put it back. "You don't suppose it's our old friend, Dr. Droid?"

"That nutcase who thinks he's a machine?" Diana stood up and crossed her arms as Dive kept Wishbone company. "Last time we saw him, all that was left was his head."

"But the guy's a genius at robotics. He could be up to anything." Tanya had a good point.

"You're right, but why would he be back now?" The tv in the office turned on and the one on the screen was the tin man himself.

"Attention organic lifeforms! This is Dr. Droid!" Dive took this moment to get up and listen to the television. "Wow, talk about timing."

Malory checked her com, but on the mini screen was the wacko. "We machines are your superiors in every way! My brothers and I will disinfect this planet of all human bacteria!"

"That guy's got a serious screw loose." The red head made the coocoo sign next to her head as NoseDive lifted his hand. "Not to mention a few nuts and bolts."

Diana shook her head, and everyone made their way to the Migrator.

"Uh, WildWIng, Diana, if Droid could control those other machines, what's to stop him from controlling the Migrator?!" Malory was pretty concerned, and her point was proven as the wheel wrestled itself away from Diana.

"Now that you mention it!" The vehicle went out of control. "Nothing!"

"Diana! Stop this crazy thing!" The woman tried the breaks, but it didn't work. "Breaks aren't responding! Wild, take over! I'm gonna have to try and cut the power!"

Diana got out on the seat and WildWing took the wheel as she went under the dash to try and stop the Migrator.

"Don't bother, I think it's gonna try and stop itself." Diana came out from under the dashboard and looked to where Tanya was pointing. They were about to crash into a building, and Diana wasn't in a seat or wearing a seatbelt.

WildWIng quickly pulled Diana into his lap and held her tight before the vehicle rammed itself into the building. Everyone seemed to be okay, and Diana was alright thanks to the captain's quick thinking.

"Anyone hurt?" Duke was the first to answer. "No, just my pride."

Everyone got out of the Migrator and Diana cursed. "Stupid ass Droid, and his fucking machine controlling shittery!"

Wild didn't scold her this time and the bikes they kept in the back drove out and then crashed into each other. "Looks like we're walking."

"How is Droid doing this, Tanya?" The scientist thought for a second before answering. "Radio waves probably. Can you pick up anything with the mask?"

WildWing tried to use the mask, but it didn't work either. "No. Even the mask isn't working."

Diana sighed and pinched the bridge of her beak. "Great, we're flying into this blind."

"And stuff like this could be happening all over town!" Screams then came from the mall and Dive was the first to say something. "Including the mall!"

"Tanya, Duke, Diana, get back to the pond. See if you can locate the source of the radio waves with Drake One. We'll help those people."

Diana went with WildWIng's plan and led Tanya and Duke back to the pond, where Tanya started typing away at Drake One.

But it was in vain as the screen displayed something. "Fatal Boot Error."

Diana then noticed something missing from the consol. "The main CPU is gone!"

"Hey, who shut down the security system, here?!" Duke checked the security system, but it was shut off.

"The same person who stole Drake One's Central Processing Unit!" Tanya got up out of her chair and Diana crossed her arms. "Yeah, but the only other person who knows the security code is-."

"My uncle." The three stormed up to Phil's office and Tanya opened the door to the closet he was in, and Duke pulled him out.

"Hermanos, boobies, Diana, what's up?" Diana grits her beak as Tanya crossed her arms. "Why'd you shut down the security system?"

"Hey, would I do a thing like that?" Diana answered before anyone else did. "Yes, you would."

"Not helping my case, Diana." Phil mumbled out.

"Oh, I don't know. Only if there was something in it for you. You know if a beautiful woman put you up to it?" Duke let Phil go and Diana picked up on the bitterness in Duke's voice. He's still sour over the incident with Lucresha.

"Okay, so I might've let Tina in." Diana took a breath and stepped back since she didn't want to knock her uncle out as Tanya reprimanded him. "Do you realize your girlfriend may have stolen part of Drake One?!"

"My angel food cake would never do that! I know her too well!" Phil tried to defend the woman.

Diana took another breath before storming to the door. "Tanya, you're in charge. I'm going to track down Droid and this Tina character."

With that the woman left and went down to the base. She picked up a jar of blue paint and traced markings onto the feathers of her arms, face, and beak. Diana picked up her scythe and patted Wishbone before leaving.

Diana made it to the very factory Droid first attacked. She stayed in the shadows as she looked around but soon, she came upon a truly terrible sight. WildWing, Duke, Malory, and Phil were held up by machines.

This was the final nail in the coffin. Diana was mad, no furious as she climbed down and saw Tina laughing at the team and her uncle.

"You dare mess with a wolf's pack?"

"Diana?!" The duck came out of the shadows and took a swipe at the woman, sending ice shards her way.

Tina fell to the catwalk to dodge the ice, but Diana jumped down to face her. "You messed with my family, my friends, the city. And guess what? You and your master actually achieved the impossible."

Phil looked like he's seen death standing where his niece was. His skin lost any color it had as he saw the flames raging in his niece's eyes. It was something he saw only once, and that time was more terrifying than the situation they were in.

"Oh no." Duke looked over to Phil as he kept struggling. "What? What is it?"

"Diana, is...is..." Diana charged at Tina and kicked her in the stomach before nailing her in the face. The duck wasn't letting the woman even take a breath as she slashed and hit and kicked at her.

"Is what, Phil?!" Diana jumped up and made her scythe into a pair of kishuragama and used the chained to tie Tina up, not caring if the woman was nicked by the blades.

"She's angry." Tanya, Grin, and Dive soon barged in as Diana was dragging the woman towards her with her chains.

"Woah, Diana?" The onyx haired duck's eyes were different now. They glowed a deep greenish blue that seemed to match her painted markings.

"Y-you wouldn't hurt a human!" Tina tried to defend herself, but it was in vain as Diana reached towards the woman's face and tore it off. It was a rubber mask; underneath was a machine.  "I'd hurt a robot."

Another Tina soon came up behind Diana and tried to hurt her, but the duck knew she was coming. The second robot was stabbed through the stomach with a blade that was hidden in Diana's heel.

The android then tried to hit the duck, but Diana caught the biceps of the robot. She slowly pulled at the arms and tore them not only out of their sockets but off the machine's body.

Diana then dropped the arms after the robot was down.

Once the second robot was taken care of, Diana turned her attention back to the one she had tied up. Her eyes held no emotion as she pulled on the chains in her hands. The blades of her weapons tearing the android apart slowly. She then slammed her foot down onto the android's head, destroying it.

Once that was done, Diana put her blades away as her eyes lost their glow.

"Diana?" She wobbled a bit before looking to Tanya. "Tanya, get them down. We'll find Droid after."

Grin noticed how Diana looked weaker, tired, and she looked like she was about to faint. "Are you alright, Little Warrior?"

"I'll be...I'll..." With that Diana slumped over and almost fell if it weren't for Grin catching her.

She tried to fight the need to sleep, they still had to stop Droid and save the city. But this fight was lost as her eyes closed and her body relaxed.

Diana woke up slowly and looked at the ceiling. She sat up slowly and looked around, she was in the medical room they had.

"What happened?"

"I could ask the same thing." WildWing was standing by her bed.

"Well, I got really angry. You can all see why I try to keep myself under control." She took a deep breath as Wild sat down with her and took off the mask. "Yeah, Phil said he's only seen you really angry once. What happened?"

"I went nuts, I hunted down and attacked the manager, director, and announcer of the show that filmed my parent's deaths." Diana took a deep breath and sighed. "I didn't kill anyone, I actually humiliated them so bad that no one would watch their content again."

"Well, I'm glad you're on our side." Wild wrapped and arm around her, helping her rest on his shoulder. "Same here."

Diana then shot up in realization. "Droid, was he stopped?!"

Wild calmed her down and held her hand. "He was, we had to borrow your scythe though. Only way we could stop him was by freezing him."

"It's okay, long as you guys stopped him."
