A/n: Here's Diana's duck form in my style.

Diana woke up in her and Mallory's bunk as usual. She looked to her hand and then felt her face, almost like she turned back to a human, but she was still a duck. Diana got out of bed and got her gear on except for her leg pouch and went out to make breakfast. She started on pancakes, fruit salad, and coffee for Tanya since the scientist was more of a night owl than a midday duck.

Diana then felt for her earing, but it wasn't there, she knew she wouldn't be able to wear it again. Diana sighed before slamming her fist into the counter, hot tears rolling down her face as she fell to the floor.

She got up and finished the food before heading up to the rink with her skates and hockey gear. Wishbone was up now and ready to start the day he usually slept with Diana and Mallory in their bunk, but he slept in the living room instead. He noticed his owner going up to the rink, so he rushed over to each of the ducks' rooms and got them up.

The last one Wishbone got up was NoseDive, who was trying to sleep in but wasn't getting to because of the pitbull's morning breath. "Ah! Wishbone! Your breath stinks, come on!" Dive got up anyway and followed Wishbone to the kitchen.

"Hey, who made breakfast? Grin?" The enlightened duck shook his head. "Not me. But where is Diana?" Wishbone then used his claws to scratch at the elevator doors, getting their attention.

WildWing seemed to understand and follow the dog up top, they found Diana she skated in a circle as she reached down and touched the ice with her gloved hand. "Guess the tradition of touching the ice to honor someone is here too."

Wild pressed a button on his armor and he was now in his hockey gear, as Diana started to shoot pucks into the goal. Diana shot her last puck only for it to be caught be WildWing. "Wild? I didn't think anyone else was awake."

"Wishbone woke us up." Diana looked over to her dog, but he was walking away with a smug wag of his tail. The female cursed in Inuit before looking back at the goalie. "Up for some one-on-one practice?"

Diana sighed before getting ready to take a shot and slapped the puck to the goal, but it was blocked by the male duck. The two soon got an audience as the rest of the team came up with Wishbone and sat in the stands.

Diana decided to get a closer shot but was disappointed when that too was blocked. "You're not even trying, Diana." Diana then skated about twelve feet away with the puck and set it on its side, she raised a brow and smirked as she performed the same crazy shot, she used on one of Draganus' robots.

The puck spun through the air towards the goal.

WildWing was ready to block it, but it went right past his gloved hand and into the goal.

WildWing took off his mask and stared wide eyed at the puck behind him as Diana skated over. The rest of the team was in a state of shock too.

"I don't believe it." Duke said as he started to come out of it. "Birdie just got the puck past my big bro!" Diana took off her helmet and chuckled a bit at Wild's face. "Close your beak, Wild. You're gonna catch flies."

The woman then got off the ice with the goalie in toe. "Woah, woah, woah, what kind of crazy shot was that?" Diana took off her skates and gloves.

"That was my dad's knuckle puck. It's hard to be accurate, but it drives goalies insane."

"Still, you actually got a puck past me." Diana shook her head and smiled a bit. "So, someone probably got one past you before."

The team came over to the bench and NoseDive started to explain. "You kidding, Birdie? Nobody has even come close to getting a puck past WildWing." This made Diana the shocked one now as she stared at Dive. "Seriously?"

Mallory came up next. "He's right, you're the first to get a puck past WildWing." The dark feathered female then got out of her shock and got up. "Dang. I didn't think it'd be that big a deal."

Tanya then came up to Diana with a yawn. "Yeah, it is, but I'd still like some coffee before we do anything else, please." Wishbone then carried his bowl to his owner and sat down, making Diana chuckle and nod. "Alright, I made breakfast, so we better go eat before my uncle gets here."

Everyone agreed and went back down to the base before plating their food and sitting at the table.

Dive actually fed Wishbone and sat with one of his comics, Duke had a morning paper as he ate, and Tanya had a new magazine from Lectric-Land. Diana found it weird eating with a beak instead of her mouth, but after seeing how the ducks do it, she knew what to do.

"So, we found your earring." Diana perked up at that and Grin pulled out her earring from his pocket, but it was made into a necklace. He handed the new feather necklace to Diana, and she put it on with small tears in her eyes. "Thank you, guys. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have this anymore."

Duke looked up from his paper and looked to Diana. "What's so special about it?"

"My mother gave it to me before she died. My dad gave me his metal stick, he was the Silver Wolf before me." This caught NoseDive's attention as he closed his comic. "Your dad was the Silver Wolf!?"

Diana nodded and went to her room before coming back with a photo. It was of her and her family when she was around ten, they were standing on the ice with their hockey gear on. Diana looked just like her mother but had her dad's eyes.

Her dad was wearing the same mask Diana wore when her friends found out she was the current Silver Wolf. "That's your mask, and your stick."

"Yep." Mallory took the photo and looked at Diana's mom. "Your mom was beautiful." Diana nodded and brushed aside her bangs.

"Beautiful but powerful, she was an enforcer while dad was a goalie and center." Tanya sipped her coffee before asking more about the two. "Your mom was an enforcer?" Diana rubbed the back of her neck and nervously chuckled. "She could check people through the boards if she wanted to but didn't. That's how she got the nickname 'BearClaw'."

Grin then nodded as he asked one more question. "You're carrying on their legacy?"

"I try to, but my uncle won't let me play on a team due to me being his precious niece. He knows I can play well but won't give me a shot." Dive got an idea after that and decided to keep it a secret.

That evening the ducks had another game against the LoveStail Hawks. Diana was there and didn't mind as people stared at her new form, she was starting to get used to it.

She watched as the puck was dropped and NoseDive stole it before skating off to score, but he was rammed into the boards, hard. And there were a few minutes left in the first round. The ref called a time out so Dive could get some medical attention, Diana went to visit him as the team was at the bench trying to come up with a plan. "You okay, Dive?"

"I'm fine, Birdie. But you gotta get out there." Diana then looked at him like he was crazy. "Listen, you're the only one who can play as good as us and is a duck. You got this."

The female then understood and put on her gear and a jersey, before leaving the locker-room. "Looks like it's forfeit for the ducks!"

Diana then skated out on the ice after the announcer said this. The croud saw Diana on the ice and cheered as the game wasn't over yet. "Not yet it isn't!" She took her position, and the announcer then started his narrative of the game.

"Looks like Diana Palmfeather, human turned duck, is now on the ice!" Diana brushed her hand on the ice under her skates and took a breath, feeling her parents' spirits with her as the game then began again.

Diana stole the puck and passed it to Duke who scored. With the ducks winning the first round, WildWing called a huddle before the second round. "Diana, how and why?"

Diana shook her head and smiled a bit. "NoseDive, he took the hit on purpose so I could play. I think he wanted to help me in a crazy way, and we can scold him later." The team went over a play before getting into position, they were winning until the visiting team cheated giving the ducks a free shot.

"Who's gonna take the shot?" Tanya pointed to Diana and remembered the shot she used. "Diana, use the knuckle puck."

Diana looked to Wild, and he nodded so she went onto the ice and took her position. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes as she put the puck on its side with her stick. Diana felt her father's hands guiding her through the set up and swing, as if he was teaching her the shot all over again.

Diana then opened her eyes and slapped the puck towards the goal, making it spin in the air to the goal. Everything was in slow motion as the goalie tried to block the puck but missed as the puck hit the net.

"And Diana used the legendary knuckle puck! Looks like her father's legacy now lives with Diana 'The Wolf' Palmfeather!" Diana smiled brightly as she let out a small cheer but skated forward and shook hands with the Hawks' goalie.

With the game over the ducks changed out of their uniforms and into some casual cloths so they could take a break. Phil came in and walked straight to Diana. "Diana, I saw what you did. Thomas would be proud."

She smiled as they left and took a walk to the mall. NoseDive went for the comic shop as Tanya jogged over to Lectric-Land, Mallory decided to get a bite to eat while Duke and Grin went into a store for meditation crystals.

"Looks like it's just you and me, Wild." Diana and WildWing walked around for a bit until they found a lost kid. He looked scared as he was crying and shaking. Wild scanned him with the mask and confirmed the boy wasn't a robot or the Chameleon before approaching the kid.

"Hey buddy, you lost?" The boy tried to wipe his eyes and sniffed. "I-I came with m-my Daddy, and-and I got lost!" Diana knelt down and cleaned off the boy's face with a tissue.

"It's okay, if you want, we could help you find him." The kid nodded, since he saw the ducks play hockey on tv he figured it was alright, but he also knew Diana. She would coach his mini-league team on weekends.

"You're Davy Martinez, you're on the mini-league I coach sometimes." The boy nodded as WildWing looked at Diana. "You coach a mini-league?"

"On weekends, I don't usually say this much, but I like kids. And I enjoy teaching them hockey." Diana got up and held out her hand to Davy, he took her hand, and they walked around the mall looking for the boy's dad.

Davy held Diana's hand as they walked, but the boy's stomach growled, and they all stopped at Weiner-World for some hotdogs. Davy then started a small conversation with the two ducks.

When they were done with their hotdogs they continued to walk around and eventually found Davy's dad. "Davy, thank goodness."

Wild discretely scanned the man and he was human. "Diana, WildWing, thanks for helping Davy. I don't know how to repay you both."

WildWing shook his head and said that there were no thanks needed. After everyone was done their shopping the team of ducks headed home for some dinner and rest.

A/n: Just a filler chapter, I'll have these between episodes for both wholesome stuff and angst.
