Little sister loses a leg

Deku had been sitting outside the emergency surgery room for hours. When you'd gone in, you were in horrible state, but they had to be making some kind of progress since you had been in there for so long.

"Izukuuu!" he heard a voice yell and jumped up.

"Mom"

Inko crashed into his sons arms. She was crying and Izuku was trying to make sense of what his mother was saying, while holding back his own tears.

"(Name)-she-it was horrible mom" Izuku stuttered.

Inko and Izuku sat down, both now crying. Izuku had seen the state you were in when going into the surgery, he was glad that your mother hadn't seen you like that.

A while after Inko had arrived, the surgery ended and the nurses placed you in a room. Izuku and your mother were told that you were stable, but your leg hae been beyond saving. The two were permitted to go and wait for you to wake up. It took a few hours for you to wake up, and even then you were pretty fuzzy from all the drugs they'd been giving you.

"Mom? Izuku? Where am I?" you asked irritably.

"You're in the hospital sis" Izuku said calmly.

"Oh darling it's gonna be okay" Inko sobbed while squeezing your hand.

"Oh yeah, the villain attack... Oh gosh Deku are you okay?" you panicked.

"I'm fine, don't worry about me" he said and grabbed your other hand to his own.

"Hey, could you get me some water? I'm thirsty"

"Oh sure, wait a sec, I'll be right back"

Deku left the room and you turned to your mom. She had been quiet till now, but she noticed the tears that were queitly rollimg down your cheeks.

"Oh my darling little girl, it's okay" she sniffled.

"My -my leg is-is go-gone isn't it?" you asked between your sobs.

"I'm so sorry darling"

It really only took a second for Deku to get the water for you, so he was back to hear what you said. It broke his heart to hear you cry. You were his little sister, he felt like he should've been more help. You had always been close. He had always been protective of you and te two of you had always talked to each other about most things. It pained him that you were in this state.

"I got your water" he exclaimed and walked into the room like he didn't just hear you crying.

"Oh thanks" you said, wiping your cheeks dry.

You didn't want to bother your brother too much. He had so much going on all the time anyway, and you didn't want to add to it. Still, you knew he would try to help you even if you didn't ask. He always looked after you.
