A/N: Was a tumblr request for reader getting spiked and comfort for that, no assault, the reader gets away before that

You were at your favorite bar with Izuku. He had had a good week at work and some of his sidekicks had taken him out for a drink, and naturally he wanted you to come with him. Of course they spent the whole evening talking about how the week had been and how great the work had been lately.

You were pretty happy to just sit next to Izuku and occasionally chime in on the conversation, with something like "Yeah, he did come home looking pretty ragged that day".

"I'm gonna go get us some more drinks, but this is the last round guys" you said, looking at Izuku and each of the sidekicks sternly.

"Yes ma'am" the whole table said in unison, before bursting out in laughter.

You snickered a bit as you turned and started making your way to the bar counter to get the drinks. You just ordered everyone the same drinks as the last round and turned to wave at the guys at the table. You almost forgot your own drink and added it to the order separately. You later figured out that was probably how the man next to you knew which drink was yours. When you waved, you had turned your back to the drinks that were on the counter.

You brought the drinks to the table and everyone grabbed their own.

"Thank you" Izuku said and kissed you on the cheek.

"You're welcome, and I meant it when I said this is the last round, can't have you rookies getting too drunk" you grinned at everyone and took a sip of your drink.

"Midoriya, you're a lucky man" one of the sidekicks said.

"Don't I know it" Izuku said and put his arm around you.

You talked some more and you finished your drink quite quickly, since it wasn't very large. Soon after, you started feeling quite sick. You recognized the symptoms quite quickly and immediately told Izuku what was going on.

"I think I was spiked" you told him.

"What? By who?" he asked, starting to scan the crowd with his eyes.

Izuku noticed a shifty looking man that was staring at you intently and told his sidekicks to go ask the man what he thought he was doing.

"Should I call an ambulance?" Izuku asked.

"I think I'll be fine, can you just get me home please?"

"Of course"

Izuku asked his sidekicks if they could deal with the situation, and since they agreed, he took you straight home. You managed to walk most of the way, but at some point he picked you up and carried you the rest of the way home, despite your protests.

He put you down when he had to open the front door and the only way you were staying up at that point was by leaning on the wall.

"I'm sorry your night got ruined" you mumbled.

"It didn't babe. Well it's not like this is a good thing, but it's not your fault" he said as he opened the door.

Izuku picked you up again, and took your shoes off while you were still in his arms. He then carried you to the bedroom and set you down on the bed.

"How are you feeling?" he asked, kneeling down next to the bed and put his hand on your cheek, caressing your cheek with his thumb.

"I'm tired, and feel a bit sick, but otherwise I'm okay... I think"

"I'm going to get you some water, you should try to get some good fluids in you" Izuku said.

"Thank you, Izuku" you smiled, before kissing his palm and letting him go get you a glass of water.

You emptied the glass quickly, you hadn't even realized how thirsty you had been.

"I think I'm gonna try to get some sleep, maybe this crappy feeling will go away by the time I wake up"

"That sounds like a good idea" Izuku smiled, but there was a sort of darkness in his eyes.

"Izu, I'm fine. Your sidekicks took care of that creep, and he's probably with the police by now" you said tiredly.

"I know, it just makes me angry that they think they can just do that to someone else, especially to you" he squeezed his hands into fists.

"I love that you're so passionate about my safety, but I'm okay, I didn't get hurt or anything" you said gently and touched his hand.

His expression immediately softened and his hands relaxed.

"Just come here, lay down with me" you said and patted the bed on his side.

He did as you asked and you moved closer to him, making him flustered. You loved that you still had that effect on him even after all these years. You just brought your face close to his and touched his nose with yours.

"I'm okay Izu, I'm just super tired. Will you stay with me while I sleep?"

"Always" he said without a single bit of hesitation.

You smiled and snuggled closer to him. Your head was just under his chin and you fell asleep very quickly while Izuku held you. He kissed the top of your head and held you close.
