Nandini comes to dining area after getting freshen up.

"Aunty u want my help in anything", asks nandini going near nyonika.

"Will u take this dish bowl and keep it on the table.", asks nyonika.

"Sure", she said and took the bowl.

She kept it on the table and turns back and collides with manik.

"Do u always have to bump into me. Cant u see and walk", asks manik angrily glaring at her.

"How will i know that u r standing behind me. U should be careful.", argued nandini.

"U know what u should visit a doctor for ur eyes. I dont want u to bump with me everywhere in the house.", mocked manik and moved to his chair and took the seat.

Nandini was abt to answer him but nyonika comes so she stays quiet.

"Come beta, sit.", says nyonika seeing her still standing.

Dhruv also comes and sit beside manik. Nandini took the seat infront of manik and nyonika was sitting beside nandini.

They start eating.
Nandini takes a bite and smiles.

"Auntie, food is very tasty", praises nandini chewing the food slowly in her mouth.

"Thank you", says nyonika smiling back.

Dhruv and manik were busy in themselves. Nandini was telling nyonika abt her parents. They finished their food and sat on the living area.

"So beta when u are joining ur office.",asks nyonika.

"From monday auntie, ", answers nandini.

"So why she came here today, couldn't she come directly on monday",whispers manik to dhruv annoyed with her presence.

"Manik shut up, she is going to live with u guys from now on, learn to stay with her and stop commenting on why she is early", scolded dhruv and glared at him. Manik makes a face and gets busy with his phone.

"Mom I am home ", screams mukti entering the house looking tired.

All looks in her direction and she looks at them. She sees nandini and frowns.

"Wht are u doing here?", she asks walking near the sofa and keeps her bag on it.

"Great mukti also dont like her.", whispers manik happily to dhruv.

"But how does mukti know her?", asks dhruv confused .

Manik shrugs his shoulder and makea a face of 'I have no idea abt it'.

"Hii", says nandini smiling nervously.

"I dont want ur hies after wht u did.", says mukti angrily.

"Muku I m sry", apologies nandini making a cute face.

"How dare she call mukti muku only I can call her that", says manik getting possessive on the name he calls mukti.

"Manik dont get so possessive abt her name. Keep quiet and let me see why they are fighting.", says dhruv seriously looking at them as a scene of movie is going on.

"Dont call me muku ,u idiot", mukti tells her sternly.

Manik gives a big smile to dhruv and dhruv shakes his head on his childish behaviour.

Nyonika was standing there confused and curious but thought to not interfere in there matter.

"I m really sry, I will never do that again", says nandini walking near her in a attempt to manofy her but mukti shows her hand and indicates her to stop.

"Mukti, whts wrong why r u talking to her like this", asks nyonika finally losing patience and irritated of her daughter's behaviour towards the guest.

"Mom u dont know wht she did", justifies mukti herself and looks at her mom innocently.

"Tell me then and how u know nandini.", asks nyonika curiously.

"Mom u r asking me how I know her. I will tell u ,she is my that bestfriend who never bothers to call and talk to me, she dont have enough time to reply on my messages also.", says mukti with a sad face and a hint of disappointment in her voice and glares at nandini.
Nandini looks down unable to meet her eyes.

"What!!!", exclaims manik in shock and stands from sofa.

Dhruv giggles slowly seeing his expression.

"Whats wrng bhai",asks mukti suprised and worried for him.

"U are angry on her because she is ur bestfriend and didn't call u and here I was thinking u hate her.", asks manik still in shock, at the turn of events.

"I don't hate her bhai, i m just upset and angry with her.", said mukti clearing his doubts.

Nandini smiles a little at this.

"Muku", calls nandini gaining a little confidence to face her.

"I m not gonna listen to ur explanations, this is limit u always behave like this.",cuts mukti in between ,before she can proceed with her explanation and turns her face in other direction.

"Beta tell me wht happened .I cant understand anything.", asks nyonika to nandini with hope that she will tell her everything.

"Auntie we know each other from last three years, we were in same class in london and also roommates, when we were coming back home few days back, she lost her ticket. So she had to stay there and I have to come here alone. After reaching home, I forgot to call or message her. After that I got my job call and I had only four days to spend with my family so I gave all my attention to them and ignored her messages. When I came here to mumbai, I thought I will suprise her with my visit but she is angry with me for ignoring her. She didn't have hug me also till now.", complained nandini to nyonika cutely after explaining everything and looked at mukti who was listening all this silently.
Mukti's anger faded after listening her but she maintained the same face.

"U thought to suprise me.", asks mukti looking at her with amusement in her eyes.

"Yes but i didn't know that it was ur house when i came here.", said nandini genuinely smiling.

"Ok I forgived u this time but if u do it again then i wont, get it in ur mind.", warns mukti and finally smiles at her.

Nandini hugs her tightly excited.

"I missed u so much idiot", says mukti hugging back.

"Me too", she answers happyily.

"U are going to stay with me in my house till ur in mumbai and no excuses.", announces mukti breaking the hug.

"But mukti....", started nandini to tell her truth but mukti cuts her off in between.

"I am not hearing anything, bring ur luggage from wherever u are staying and come here right now. U are gonna stay with us. ", said mukti sternly.

"Manik wht were u thinking before and see whts going on here. Mukti is forcing nandini to leave this house to come and stay here with her only.", says dhruv in amusement teasing manik.

Manik makes a irritating face on it and ignores him.

"By the way I forgot to ask, if u didn't know its my house wht are u doing here.",asks mukti after realizing that she was here before she arrives.

"Mukti she is my best friend daughter ,I told u about yesterday.", answered nyonika instead of nandini wrapping her hand on nandini's shoulder.

"It means u are staying here only and I was forcing u for nothing. I m so happy u will be here with us. Thank u mom", exclaims mukti in suprise and joy when realisation strike her.

Nandini and nyonika laughs seeing her excitement.

"Mom I am going out", manik said in between their laughs.

"Where?", asks nyonika.

"Dhruv had some work and is insisting me to join him, i will be back by dinner..", manik says to her avoiding eye contact with her.

Dhruv looks at him confused.
He raises a eyebrow towards him as asking which work. Manik just blinks his eyes as a sign of keep quiet and continue with it.

Nyonika nods at them and they both leave.

"Wht work I had.",asked dhruv when they were out of their view.

"To clear my mind.", says manik with a obvious tone.

"And why will I do it.", asks dhruv again teasing him.

"Because I am saying and now dont ask me anything as i am already frustuated. Lets go to our usual place, I want to play music for sometime.", says manik walking towards his car.

"Never mind, lets go its long I played something with u and made some music.",said dhruv walking to the car and gets comfortable in the passengers seat.

Manik droves to their hangout place.

Inside the house, the three women talk for some time.

"U both have ur time catching up what u missed, I will take the leave now ,I have some work to complete.", says nuonika getting up from her place.

"Ok auntiee", said nandini.

"Nandu lets go to ur room and talk",suggested mukti and both went to nandini's room.

They both settled themselves in the bed facing eachother.

"So tell me how was ur day in london. I m sure it must be hell boring without any frnds. U must have got punishment for ur carelessness. ",nandini asks her.

"The stay was so good to be called as a punishment. ",mukti muttered slowly and smiles remembering something.

"Wht did u just say?", asks nandini again thinking she heard it wrong.

Mukti came out from the trance.
"Noth..nothing I was saying indeed it was a punishment. ", she said fumbling with words at the starting.

"Ya the smile on ur face is telling me how bad the stay was. Now spill out everything or else I have my ways.", nandini says with sarcasm and then warns her.

"Well I was not alone that day.",she said with a small smile.

"But as far as I remember all our frnds left before us. Only we three were left to go.", she said putting a finger on her chin trying to think.

"Was he with u.", asks nandini suddenly.

Mukti nodded in yes.

"But he said to me that he cant wait to go home. He was willing to go back as fast as he could. I m confused what made him stay then.", said nandini and then looked at mukti with suspicious eyes.

"Dont look at me like this. He said to me that a urgent work came up so he had to cancel his flight for today.", mukti said sternly but a small smile made its way on her lips.

"I know wht work came up.", nandini says seriously.

"What"

"To take care of certain someone and check that she is not alone and is happy.", nandini finishes with a mischievous smile.

Mukti picks a pillow and hit her.

"Its not wht u r thinking. He must have genuine work to do other than checking on me.", says mukti with a slight blush.

"But muku darling I never mentioned ur name. I just had a random thought. What made u so worked up.", nandini teased again and mukti feels embarrassed.
She composes herself and picks a pillow. Nandini starts running.

"Nandu just wait u idiot. I will not leave u today. U always tease me for nothing.", mukti says running behind nandini with a pillow.

Nandini runs and bumps with someone near the door.

"Look its not my mistake that u always come on my way. I really feel its u who need to go to a doctor.", says nandini looking down with eyes closed waiting for his shout.

"Hii dad", says mukti from behind coming in their view.

Nandini opens her eyes and sees a man of her fathers age looking at her confused.

"I m sry ,I thought u are someone else.", nandini apologies nervous about his reaction.

"Namaste uncle, I m nandini", introduces nandini after greeting him.
She bends to touch his leg but he caught her in middle.

"U are like my daughter and in our family daughters don't touch feets. Come here.", he said opening his arms.
Nandini side hugs him.

"Dad", mukti said to make them aware of her presence.

"U too come here", says raj showing his other arm and mukti happily hugged him.

"Nandini about whom u were talking. Who needs a doctor.", asks raj breaking the hug.

"Woh its nothing like that. I just said nonsense as I was not in my sense and lost in thoughts.", nandini makes a excuse. Raj nods.

"U look similar to how naina used to look when she was of ur age.", raj says looking at her.

Nandini just smiles in return.

"Come lets have dinner.", raj says them and both follows him.
Manik too comes back and take his chair.

"Mom get the food fast , I m so hugry.", says manik loudly for her to hear in kitchen.

Nyonika comes with food and the three of them also took their seats. Nyonika sat beside raj.

They had dinner peacefully without much talks.
Once dinner was finished they left to their rooms.

Nandini lays down on the bed and looks at the ceiling.
"My first day in mumbai was not that bad except the part when I met him. God knows how will I stay with him under the same roof but I am thankful abt the fact that this is mukti's house and I got her company. Lets see whts waiting for me tomorrow. ", she thought and slept.
