I cried this movie was so gay- I mean great

This is short and terrible but I just need to write about this man, he has captured me heart and I would die for him

Every winter break you'd make your way down to the coast of Italy. Your aunt had a place in a small town called Portorosso. The town was a little fishy if you may say so yourself. But that's what was so great about it. You loved the lore of sea monsters and loved being close to the water.

So when winter rolled around you were already packing your bags for the trip. It was always warm in Portorosso so it was the perfect little vacation spot for the winter. 

When you arrived in town your aunt helped bring your bags into the house and after you quickly set off towards your best friends house. Giulia Marcovaldo. The only time you could hang out was Winter break so the two of you made the most of it when it rolled around. 

But this year would be different. When you knocked on the door you were greeted by a handsome face that definitely didn't belong to Giulia. "What's up with you stupido?" He asked.

You were taken back by the strange question, "Uh Hi? Is Giulia home?"

"Yeah why?" He asked placing a hand on his hip.

You didn't have time to answer before the stranger was shoved out of the way by the aforementioned red head. "Y/N!!" She yelled and pulled you into a tight hug.

"Giulia!" You yelled in return, hugging her back immediately. 

"Santa Mozzarella! I have so much to show you! So much has happened sense you were here! Like- oh! Alberto meet Y/N, Y/N meet Alberto!" The red head pointed to the boy standing in the door frame. You both gave an awkward wave to each other before Giulia was shoving you inside to go meet a guy named Luca.

After introductions were over Giulia invited (insisted) you go down to the shore with her and the two boys you had just meet. You couldn't say no to her adorable face so begrudgingly you went. You could tell the three of them were plotting something but had no clue what until you got to the water.

You and Giulia were in swimsuits (you had rushed home to grab your trunks per Giulia's request) and were now standing in front of the water.

"On the count of 3 we all jump in!" In Giulia announced and everyone stood ready.

"1. 2. 3!!" You all jumped in.

Giulia knew your love for mythology before hand so she expected you to fanboy over meeting two sea creatures. Otherwise she would have never pulled this stunt. Luckily for everyone she was right.

When you resurfaced and wiped the water out of your eyes you came face to face with a purple sea monster. Of course you screamed and fell back into the water. Only for said sea monster to help you back up.

"What??? What are you?? How are you??? What is happening??" You were trying hard to put the pieces together but you couldn't form the right words.

Alberto laughed at your confused face, "I'm a sea monster. Pretty cool, I know."

You gave a shaky smile at him, "That uh is kind of cool actually." 

His face lit up at your words and he was quick to show off some cool sea monster moves. Which was just swimming but you still found it amazing how he could jump out of the water like a dolphin and use his tail to splash water up at you.

After awhile of playing in the water the four of you had calmed down enough to just chill on the shore. Luca and Alberto were still sitting in the water because it felt nice while you and Giulia were on the hot sand.

Giulia was catching you up on all that had happened with the race and the town and sea monsters while you just observed how Luca and Alberto looked. You had processed that sea monsters really exist by now but how they worked still bugged you. You wanted as manly details as possible.

So you being straight forward asked, "Can I touch your tail?" 

Everything fell silent as you stared at Alberto. He was sitting in front of you and you felt more comfortable asking him then Luca. "Sure I guess." He answered trying to seem like it didn't make him nervous but it definitely did.

In the short amount of time he knew you he had started to like you. You just seemed like such a nice person. Not to mention you were incredibly attractive. He couldn't really put a finger on why but he just wanted to get closer to you. It was like when he had first meet Luca. He just knew he had to be friends with you. But the thought of being more had crossed his mind a couple times.

He was so distracted by his thoughts he didn't realize how close you had gotten until you were gently touching his scales. It sent shivers down his spine as you softly trailed your fingers down his tail. "I thought it'd be rougher but it's so soft." You mumbled.

"I moisturize." He couldn't help but joke.

You looked up at him and let out the most amazing laugh he's ever heard. It was normal by all human standards but something felt so right about hearing it. It seemed so natural and lovely. His new favorite sound was your laugh and he made a mental note to make you laugh more.

Once you were all done playing in the water you went back to Giulia's house. But not after stopping by your place to get a change of clothes and notify your aunt you were having dinner with them. Which was great news for your aunt because then she could go off to wine club. We support lovely wine Aunts.

At the Marcovaldo household you sat between Giulia and Alberto. A perfect place for you. You could talk and joke with Giulia but then also perfectly hear Ablerto's jokes. One in particular about Italian's not existing made you crack up so much you accidentally dropped your fork. 

Both you and Alberto reached for it at the same time and hands collided. So cliché but you weren't complaining. Neither was he. You took the fork and wiped it off before going back to eating. No one though anything of it or didn't even notice. They also didn't notice Alberto sneakily grabbing your hand under the table. 

You could feel your face flush a little at the action and sparing a glance at the tan boy you could see the proud smirk adorning his features causing you to go just a little redder. 

You focused back on your food but not after giving a tight squeeze to his hand. This was going to be an awesome Winter break.

Again short and terrible and sorry for leaving for so long lol I went on vacation and didn't have time to write now I'm back lmao so I'll try and update some more
