i woke up this morning to hearing small chatters from downstairs. i got up and started playing "Coast By Hailee Steinfeld ft. Anderson .Paak" in my AirPods and dancing while I curled my hair and put on a cute red swimsuit top with my bottoms and some short ripped blue jean shorts ober my swimsuit bottoms and really tall white cowboy boots and a cute blue red and white flannel with all of my surfer bracelets and my white flower necklace. i walked downstairs and into the kitchen.

"happy birthday brin!!!" everyone said

i was sort of shocked but also really happy.
first belly came up to me.

"happy birthday my brinny! i love you so so much." she says while hugging me.

then Laurel walks up to me

"happy birthday my beautiful girl!" she says while hugging me super tight
"happy birthday brin." conrad says from across the room

then steven wlaks up to me and messes with my hair

"happy birthday cuz. your old dude" he says while walking away

then susannah walks up to me

"happy birthday sweetheart! you look absolutely gorgeous today brinley." she says while hugging me and smiling.

i look around the room for jeremiah but don't see him

"thanks everyone! hey um has anyone seen jeremiah?" i ask
"oh he was getting ready in his room." susannah says.
"oh thanks!" I say as I walk upstairs to his room

i nock on the door and he opens it and his jaw drops and he pulls me inside and shuts the door.

"you look hot brin." he says as he spins me around and I giggle
"happy birthday my princess!" he says as he leans in and kisses me. we kiss for a good 30 seconds until I pull away and look him up and down
"look at you." I say as I put my hands around his neck
"I'm almost done getting ready. We can walk down together if you want." he says as he lays his hands on my waist and then lets go and sprays cologne on him
"I'm ready!" he says while giggling

he was wearing a red blue patterned shirt that was only two buttons on so you could see his abs. and then white shorts and his curly dirty blond hair.
he grabbed a little gift bag and my hand and we walked downstairs together and everyone looked at us as Steven and conrad whistled and belly just smiled and winked and Steven and Conrad high-fived Jeremiah as everyone started gigling.

"hey brin we all have some things for you! if you would like to open them!" susannah says sweetly
"oh my gosh! Thank you all so much! i didnt expect any of this." I say as jeremiah leads me to the living room and I hear everyone having small whisper conversations about us.

i hear steven say "I bet you 50 bucks they will be official by tomorrow bro." he says to conrad as they shake hands and everyone sits on the couches. Me and jeremiah sit in the little couch together and then Steven on the chair and everyone else on the big couch.

"here me first!" belly says as she hands me a small little bag that has a green flower on it.

i open the bag and see a picture of me and her framed and a blue shell anklet and a $25 gift card to Starbucks.

"ay! yayy! thank you bells!! i love it so much!" I say to her as I stand up and hug her
"here this is from me." Laurel says as she hands me a rectangular sized gift wrapped item.

i open it and see a book. but not just any book. my mom and dad's favorite book. i tear up a little and stand up and hug laur so tightly.

"you have no idea how much this means. auntie laur. seriously thank you so much." I kiss her forehead and sit back down next to jere, he scoots closer to me and puts his hand on my leg.
"here brin, this is from me!" susannah says as she hands me a little box

i open the box And see a diamond bracelet and open my mouth wide

"wow! it's so gorgeous susannah! you didn't have too! thank you so much!" i say while smiling at her and hug her and put it in my wrist.
"here brin. this is from me and conrad." Steven says as he hands me a medium sized bag

i open it and pull out a gift bag from bath and body works with the scent "BUTTERFLY" and a cousins beach shirt.

"thanks guys!" I say with a smile
"we had no clue what we were doing we just asked a girl who worked there what to but for a basic girl and that's what she gave us." Steven says while laughing
"well thanks anyway losers." I say while I throw wrapping paper at Steven.

i smile at jere and he hands me the bag he brought down. I open it and pull out a
build-a-bear wearing a small sage green cousins beach hoodie and beige star sun glasses. i feel that his hand is heavy and I squeeze it and hear jere's voice say "happy birthday my pretty girl. your my favorite ever and I'm so happy we got to spend this summer together. i.. i really like you brinny." then it stops. i look him in the eyes and hug him. I then kiss him softly and quickly in front of everyone and play with his hair.
everyone looks at us and Steven looks at conrad and giggles a little bit.

"hey just so you know I invited some of the deb girls over." belly says to me as we sit at the table eating raspberries
"oh yeah of course!" I say with a smile
"gigi is coming too" she's says while giving rn a smile because she knows how much I hate her
"belllyyyyyyy." I say
"it'll be okay." she's says
"she will be flirting with jere the whole time." I say
"not when she sees the way he looks at you." she says as she grabs my arm and wlaks to the kitchen sink and we put our bowls away. i hear the door bell ring

"belly! steven! brin! jere! conrad! come say hi to John." Laur says while I look at belly with a really confused look as Steven walks to us and jere and conrad walk with us to the door. i grab Jere's hand and wrap my arms around his arm as I see John walk in with this girl in a white sundress. laur mouths "BE NICE."

"hey kiddos!" John says as he hugs belly and Steven
"hey dad!!!" they say
"hey brin!" he says as he waves to me
"hi!" I say
"conrad, jeremiah." he says while looking at them with a smile
"sup dude." they both say
"oh um this is Victoria!" he says as he puts his arm around her

we all just look at her until they walk to the kitchen and then you guys all give eachother looks until you guys walk into the kitchen together.
we all talk for a little until the door bell rings and all the debs walk in same with cam. Steven and shayla have been dating for a little while now so they walk outside together same with Nicole and Conrad. Cam and belly walk outside together Gigi walks out by herself and Me and jere walk outside and sit on the edge of the pool together while I lay my head on his shoulder until gigi comes up to us and sits next to jere and flirts with him A LOT. i give him a look and we stand up and walk to a different place gigi just stays there and he leads me to the beach. we start talking a little bit

"she was so hitting on you dude." I say to him kind of angry while kicking sand. He pulls me towards him and pushes a piece of hair out of my face and kisses me for a really long time, eventually we sit down on the sand and tahts that for a while until we just lay staring at the clouds

"hey can we talk?" I ask him
"yeah of course my princess." jeremiah says
"what are we?" I ask him
"whatever you want to be." he says with a smile
"no jeremiah. seriously. what are we?" I ask him seriously
"brin i really really do like you. i want to be together forever. will you be my girlfriend?" he ask me
"of course handsome." I tell him
we kiss shortly until we walk back up to the party.

i see everyone sitting on the steps and talking. jeremiah hands me his speaker and nudges me.

"I cant." I say as he turns on the speaker and plays "Coast By Hailee Steinfeld ft. Anderson .Paak" pretty loud to the point everyone stops talking and turn there heads towards us.
"come on brinny you got this." jeremiah says as he grabs both my hands and kisses me softly.

i start blushing a lot and start singing. everyone is cheering me on and looks like they are really enjoying it. the song ends and everyone starts cheering. i giggle a little and lay my head on jeremiah's shoulder.

"brin!!! that was amazing!" everyone says
"hey brin! my dad is a music artists and he's pretty big in the industry. if your down.. I can totally get you a lot of opportunities to be big and put your amazing voice out there!" shayla says to me with the biggest smile on her face
"oh my gosh! yes! thank you so much shayla!! this is life changing!" I say
"hey you guys want to start fireworks?" conrad says
"yeah dude of course." jeremiah says as he starts walking down to the beach and try's to lead me there but I jaut stay where I am
"you coming?" he ask
"oh yeah! just give me a few, I'll meet you down there." I respond

he kisses me on the cheek And then walks down to the beach with all of the boys and nicole and belly, me and Gigi stay back with susannah and Laurel to help clean up a little bit.

JEREMIAH'S POV:

"so man we need to talk." Steven says to me
"about?" I ask
"are you and my cousin dating or what?" Steven ask
"STEVEN." belly says

i laugh a little

"yeah we are Steven." i reply
"good for you." Steven says
"you guys are really cute together." Nicole says
"yeah man she talks about you all the time. and the way you look at her." belly says while smiling
"it was like love at first sight." I say
"don't screw this one up jere." conrad says
"I don't plan on it." I say while kicking sand at conrad

everyone laughs

"yeah man please, she is our cousin and she's been though so much lately." belly says
"I won't belly I promise." I say to belly

BRIN'S POV:

gigi and i were helping susannah and Laurel clean up. they went inside to clean up the kitchen but me and gigi stayed outside, i didn't like her very much but i wanted to make it so she trusted me

"hey um gigi?" i say
"yeah?" she says
"im sorry i was being shady and rude." I say
"no that wasn't you. it was me. i liked jeremiah but you guys are meant to be and i don't want to screw that up at all." she says
"thank you." i say while smiling at her
"of course." she says as she finishes cleaning
"you want to go down to the beach together." she ask me
"yeah of course." I say

we walk down and I see jere talking to everyone. I hear my name and don't think much of it but I just sneak up behind him and jump on his back

"hi!!" i say while giggling
"hi princess!" he says as he sets me down and pulls me by the waist

the whole rest of the night was so memorable.
it was the best night I've had in a while.
it was pretty late and everyone went home. i went outside for a night swim and saw belly and conrad talking on the dock watching fireworks. i set my towel down on the chair and before I get into the pool i see the glass door slide open and see steven and laurel walk out, I knew in that moment something so wrong had happend..
