Zelda's pov

"Perfect." I said simply with a wide grin.

I looked at Link and his only reply was a look of horror. I held in a laugh. He needs to relax, I won't do anything terrible to him. Or will I?

This'll definitely make the surprise easier. I can keep him away from the sto-er-ishida like this. And I can make him rest. This is perfect. "Anyway, what's for dinner?" I asked. I loved Lizzy's cooking. There was no one in Hyrule that cooked better than her.

"Tonight we're having Hearty Soup!" Lizzy said.

"Really?! That's one of my favorites!" I said.

"Then it's a good thing you came here tonight, isn't it?" Lizzy said sweetly.

My gaze turned to Raule, Link's father as he came downstairs and spoke, "What's this I hear about making Zelda cry?" He said.

Link looked terrified as I giggled at the look on his face. Raule and I are formal when outside his house, but when we're inside we put all formalities aside and call each other by name.

"Link Richardson Night," He said as he walked over to us, then gave Link a nuggy. "Where did you find the courage to make the Princess cry! You're so brave!" He said and laughed. I laughed too.

"Ralphonse! It's wrong to make a girl cry no matter what her title!" Lizzy scolded.

"I was just joking honey. But it is brave, usually people are so soft towards royalty. It's a good thing once in a while! Especially for royalty. It's a way of learning that life isn't rainbows and smiles all the time." Raule said.

"I think she learned that during four swords already." Lizzy said, putting her hands on her hips again.

"It's okay Lizzy, really. Link apologized and bonus he has to do what I want for a week, so it's okay." I said.

Lizzy sighed. "True. Still, you should have manners towards a lady. I'm talking to both of you." She said to both of the "gentleman" in the room.

Raule spoke, "Alright, we won't honey." He said, still smiling.

We ate dinner and then started to make conversation in the living room. Link had fallen asleep and his head rested on my shoulder. I laughed softly at the sight next to me. He was drooling. But he was adorable! I knew he was tired!

I took him off my shoulder and laid him down on the couch, taking the opportunity given to me. It was the perfect time to tell Raule why I had him distract his son and I could tell Lizzy at the same time. After all, they're likely gonna need to have three more beds soon.

"Lizzy, Raule? Can I talk to you about something important in the kitchen?" I asked, whispering to not wake Link.

They nodded in unison, confused at my sudden secrecy. We tiptoed to the kitchen. Raule started to talk at a normal volume. "Is this about-" "Sshhh!!!" Me and Lizzy shushed him. I signaled him to whisper. "Is this about why you had me distract him earlier?" He asked, whispering this time. I nodded.

"So what's going on? Raule told me that you told him to distract Link." Lizzy also asked, whispering.

"You know how he's been feeling, yes? Ever since the events of four swords?" I asked. They nodded in unison again. "Well, me, the maidens and the sorcerer Discord have been working on a magical stone. This stone, which is called an ishida, has sealing properties in it that could seal Ganon. We could put him in the ishida, removing him from the four sword so-" I explained only to be interrupted by Lizzy.

"So Link can be four once more!" She whispered with joy.

"Oh thank you Zelda! You have no idea how happy it makes me to be able to see our Link be happy again!" Lizzy whispered happily.

"Yes, thank you Zelda!" Raule whispered, happy as well. "But who was it that you had to visit that has to do with all this?" He asked.

"If I tell you, you must keep it on the down low! I don't want people to panic! I can't tell you unless you keep it a secret!" I whispered urgently. If the information that Shadow Link is here gets out people will surely panic. I cannot allow that to happen!

"We won't tell anyone Zelda." Raule promised.

Lizzy nodded in agreement. "You can tell us without worrying." Lizzy said.

"Alright." I said. "Shadow Link is the one I visited." They both gasped, surprised. I continued, "I asked him if he knew anything that could stabilize the stone because the stone is unstable and dangerous. He gave me something to make the stone stable and told me that the stone is actually a thing called an ishida. Ishida's are round stones that have magical and sealing properties in them. I have the item that can make the ishida stable now and will deliver it tomorrow. Be ready for four more Link's. You might need to get three more beds or a huge one that could fit all of them." I explained.

"We will. And thank you for trusting us with this information Zelda." Raule whispered. I nodded in reply.

"But what about Shadow Link? Isn't he a danger to us all?" Lizzy whispered, her eyes full of fear.

"Don't worry darling. Remember, he's on our side now. He sacrificed everything to save Hyrule. He's no harm to us. He's an ally." Raule said comfortingly.

"Good. The last time we saw him he nearly killed the two boys I love most in the world." She sighed, relieved.

"I should probably go back to the castle. It's getting late and I'm tired too. It's been a long day." I said.

"Alright. Be careful Zelda." Lizzy said. They hugged me and I returned it.

"Do you want me to walk you to your room, your highness?" Raule asked. I nodded.

"Better to be safe than sorry. Thank you first knight." I said. He nodded and waited for me at the door.

Before I left I had to do one last thing. I walked to Link and kissed him on the forehead (or fourhead) and whispered in his ear. "Everything is gonna be okay soon. Just wait a little longer my hero."

After that I left with the first knight. I got to my room safely and wished Raule a safe return to his own home. I changed, went to bed, and closed my eyes. I laid there in comfortable silence until sleep captured me.
