Link's Pov:

I had just returned the four sword to its place. I felt an urge to draw it again because I missed the four of me already even though we're together. I pushed away the urge. I looked to Zelda. She had a soft smile. Her beautiful blue eyes showed that she thought that returning the four sword was right. I felt a part of me, perhaps a fourth of me, wanting to say something to her. But I'm not sure what that something was. I felt my heart pound in my chest as she took my hand without a word. For some reason my face felt hot. I realized I was blushing. But why? Zelda started to walk with her hand in mine. I followed, beside her.

A year later..... Zelda's Pov

"Dear diary,

After an entire year the memories of four sword still seems to be fresh with Link. He always trained alone but fought with other knights and his father obediently. He always seems so lonely now. I try to accompany him to make him feel better, but it doesn't work. He wants his four counterparts back. That I can see clearly. Starting last month, I've ordered a sorcerer and the maidens to find another sacred item to seal Gannon in so Link can have his wish.....But....They haven't found anything so far. I understand what L-"

I stopped writing when I heard someone calling me. "Princess! Princess Zelda!" A guard ran up to me.

"Has something happened? Is it Link?!" I asked worriedly.

"It is related to Link. But there's good news!" The guard said but stopped to catch his breath.

I smiled and asked. "What is it?"

"We found something to seal Gannon in! The maidens and the sorcerer are working on it." The guard told me.

"Really?!" I said, a wave of relief washing over me. "Yes, come with me and I'll show you." The guard said. "Thank you so much!" I said as I started to follow him.

Later...

"We're almost there." The guard said. I nodded in reply.

"H....Help!" I suddenly heard someone say.

"Huh? Did you hear that?" I asked.

The guard nodded, taking his sword out. "Where are you?!" The guard yelled.

"I-I don't know!" The person said, their voice full of fear.

"Just keep talking, I'll find you!" The guard said.

The person did as he said and talked so we could follow this person's voice. They sounded weaker every time they spoke. We finally found them. Shock and surprise rushed through me. It was Shadow Link! There was a large sword wound across his chest as well as small cuts all over him. His whole body was covered in blood and he was blindfolded.

The guard took off his blindfold as he said. "Don't worry, we'll get you help. Then the guard mumbled, grumpily. "Even if you are a shadow."

Shadow opened his eyes and looked up at me. "P-princess?" He stammered, weakly.

"Shush, you shouldn't speak. Save your strength." I told him.

He listened. The guard picked him up and we ran back to the castle and got the royal doctor to help him. I walked outside of the castle and was going to find Link. Link was walking in my direction, so I didn't even have to look.

"Hey Zelda. I finished my training for today." He told me.

"Link. Something has happened." I said, seriously.

He looked worried. "What happened?" He asked.

Link's Pov

"Your Shadow. Me and one of my guards found him badly wounded and blindfolded. I don't know how he got here other than the dark mirror. If the dark mirror is back, we have a problem." Zelda explained.

"W-What?!" I said shocked. Shadow.... He's back! I felt joy rush through me. Wait. I shouldn't be happy. He's badly injured! "W-when can I see him?! Do you know when he'll get better?" I asked.

"I don't know. His wounds were really bad. We have to wait a bit to see him and ask questions." Zelda said.

"You know he's on our side right?!" I told her seriously.

"Yeah, of course I know that! I'm the one who persuaded him." Zelda replied. "Anyway, I just wanted to tell you. I have some business to attend to." Zelda said and left.

Shadow... He's back! I hope he gets better! Wait a second.... I'm feeling the same thing that I felt when Zelda held my hand after I put away the four sword. Why? I know the Vio part of me is the one that cares so much about Shadow but.... What is this feeling? Am I supposed to feel it for two people? Is this just a different kind of feeling of caring?

Zelda's Pov

"Anyway, I just wanted to tell you. I have some business to attend to." I told him and left.

I was going to the maidens and the sorcerer like I was earlier. This time I arrived without any interruptions. "Hello Discord." I told the sorcerer.

"Hello, your highness." Discord told me. Discord was Links mentor for fighting with magic as well as Hyrules best sorcerer.

"One of my guards told me you finally found something to seal Gannon in! Can you show me?" I asked.

"Technically we didn't find it. We created it. And it's not finished. Its unstable but the best we've had so far." Discord, said.

"Yes, but you must be careful Princess." The blue maiden, Lily, said.

"I will." I replied.

I followed them to the room where it was. There was a perfectly matte round gem surrounded by glass.

"That's it. We have it in there for safety reasons." Discord said.

"Good. Keep working on it till it's perfect please." I told him.

"Of course, Princess." Discord said.

I left. Its unstable but at least they made progress. This is good! I went to go and check on Shadow Link.

"So, what is his condition doctor?" I asked.

"He'll live. He just needs time and medicine to heal your highness." Dr. Kayete said.

"Thank you." I told him.

"Anytime, your highness." I bet Link will be happy to hear this. "But I must tell you something, your highness." Dr. Kayete said, seriously.

"What is it?" I replied, worried. "This shadow..... He has scars from not that old of wounds. It looks like he was tortured for some reason." The doctor explained.

"I see..." I answered. Tortured? Why? I'll have to ask him when he's a little better.

"If you're going to ask him about it, I recommend doing it lightly. From the looks of things, it must've been horrifying." Dr. Kayete said, as if he read my mind.

"Okay, thank you. I'll keep that in mind." I answered. I said goodbye and left. I continued writing in my diary when I got back.

"I understand what Link wants.... After all, I want them back too actually. I miss them. And I miss Green. But now it seems everything will soon be okay. The sorcerer and the maidens have finally found something to grant our wishes. And once we restore the four Links, I can't wait to see Green. I'm also sure Vio would be happy to see Shadow. We'll all be happy soon. Again, I can't wait!
