Chapter Two

NALA'S POV

It's the next day and guess what has happened? Only one thing can annoy me and that is rain. Sure I love rain, but when you live where I live, rain is the second most dormant thing in the whole entire place. Because it's either raining or it's sunny. Today kind of sucks, because I wanted to spend some time outside. But no, the rain gods had to come out today of all days, just to destroy my fun and also the Pevensie children's first full day here.

Oh am I rambling again? Sorry about that but I really wanted to go outside so I could ride my horse, but no the rain had to come so I couldn't ride her. Oh well as long as I have the Pevensie's with me, then I won't be so bored all the time.

The Pevensie's and I are sitting in the same room as we were sitting in yesterday. I was sitting next to Susan who had a big thick dictionary on her lap, while Lucy looked out the window. Edmund was playing with the chair, doing God knows what with it and Peter sat on a chair, playing the game Susan created.

"Gas-tro-vas-cu-lar." Susan read looking at the dictionary. "Come on Peter Gastrovascular." Susan urged looking at Peter.

"It is Latin?" Peter asked.

"Is it Latin for, 'the worst game ever invented?'" Edmund commented coming out from under the chair a smirk evident on his face.

Peter smiled at his younger brother before looking over to Susan and I. Susan slammed her book closed causing me to jump a bit, not expecting her to slam the book shut like that, so of course I was startled so don't go looking at me like that.... yeah you! Stop looking at me like that!

"We could play hide and seek." Lucy said innocently causing me to jump up from my seat and advanced towards Peters other side.

"But we're already having so much fun." Peter commented sarcastically looking at Susan before looking at Lucy, not noticing that Susan rolled her eyes at her brother.

"Come on Peter please." I whined grabbing his arm.

Peter looked down at his arm before looking back up at me. I looked over at Lucy then back at Peter giving him my best puppy dog eyes I could muster, which was hard since I'm not that great with puppy dog eyes.

"Come on Peter please." Lucy whined gaining her brother's attention. "Pretty please." Lucy pouted when Peter looked at her.

Peter looked back at me then to Lucy before smiling.

"One, two, three, four..." Peter started causing Lucy and I to smile widely.

"What?" Edmund asked, not believing that we're playing a little kids game.

I grabbed his arm and pushed him away before going over to Susan and dragging her with me to my favourite hiding place in the whole house. Apart from my bedrooms wardrobe of course, now that's a good spot cause reasons you don't really need to know.

"Where are we going?" Susan whispered-yelled.

I winked at her before dragging her along with me. After a while of running I found the wide chest and opened it gesturing her to go first, once she was inside I went in as well.

"So." I said after a few seconds of hiding in the chest, causing Susan to look at me with confusion. "You come here often?"

"You sure are something." Susan said causing me to giggle.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

~Le Time Skip: To When Lucy Falls Out of Wardrobe~

"99, 100. Ready or not, here I come!" Peter yelled.

Lucy ran out of the room. "It's all right! I'm back! I'm all right." Lucy yelled as she ran towards where Edmund is hiding.

"Shut up! He's coming!" Edmund exclaimed from behind the curtain.

Peter walked around the corner and saw Lucy standing there before making his way over towards them. Edmund sighed and glared at his sister before getting out from behind the curtains.

"You know, I'n not sure you two have quite got the idea of this game." Peter said.

"We're 't you wondering where I was?" Lucy asked looking confused.

"That's the point. That was why he was seeking you." Edmund said slowly.

Not too long after Edmund had spoken, Nala and Susan came from where Peter had entered and saw that the others were standing there. Nala looked at the scene in front of her, two had confused eyes while someone had a look of anger on his face.

"Does this mean Nala and I win?" Susan asked her older brother.

"I don't think Lucy wants to play anymore." Peter said looking at Susan before looking at Nala who was looking at Lucy.

"What's wrong Lu?" Nala said softly like a mother would to her scared child.

Somewhere in Peter's heart melted at the tone of Nala's voice. He started to think about the possibilities to ask her out but only to realize he actually knows nothing about Nala. But he can't help that out of the two days that he has spent there at the house he can't really help that he has started to have feelings for Nala and he wishes that Nala felt the same way but little does he know she also has started to develop a crush on him, every time she's near him her heart pounds faster but on the outside she's her normal self.

"I've been gone for hours." Lucy said snapping Peter out of his thoughts on Nala saying she loves him back.

Lucy then leads them into the room where she was hiding and Susan walked up to the wardrobe before pulling the fur coats to the side. She frowned as she saw nothing but the back of the wardrobe and knocked at the wood. Edmund was behind the wardrobe and knocked behind the wardrobe before going back to the front of the wardrobe.

"Lucy, the only wood in here is the back of the wardrobe." Susan said looking down at her younger sister.

"One game at a time, Lu. We don't all have your imagination." Peter said walking towards the door the other two Pevensei children following behind while Nala walked over towards Lucy.

"But I wasn't imagining!" Lucy yelled out causing the Pevensei siblings to turn around and look at Lucy. Peter saw that Nala had her hand on Lucy's shoulder.

"That's enough, Lucy." Susan said.

"I wouldn't lie about this!" She exclaimed hurt that her family doesn't believe her.

"Well, I believe you." Edmund said stepping forward, causing Nala to narrow her eyes at the boy.

Peter, Susan and Lucy turned to Edmund shocked.

"You do?" Lucy questioned.

"Yeah, of course. Didn't I tell you of the field in the bathroom cupboards?" Edmund said looking at him family before smirking at Nala who glared at him.

"Will you just stop?" Peter said causing Nala to look at Peter. "You just have to make everything worse, don't you?" Peter said.

"It was only just a joke!" Edmund defended himself.

"When are you gonna learn to grow up?" Peter said.

"Shut up! You think you're dad, but you're not!" Edmund yelled in Peter's face before running/storming out of the room.

Susan sighed watching her youngest brother storm out of the room before facing her oldest brother.

"Well, that was nicely handled." Susan said before walking out after her younger brother.

"But... it really was there." Lucy tried to explain to her oldest brother hoping to have someone on her side.

Nala looked down at the girl with a frown on her face. It really broke her heart to see Lucy sad, she had started to grow quite fond of Lucy which Nala really liked but she's getting really upset which is breaking her heart. She turned her head to Peter who was looking at Lucy sadly.

"Susan's right, Lucy. That's enough." Peter said taking a glance at Nala and saw her sad expression which caused him to be sad but Peter turned around and walked out of the door before Nala could see.

'I'm such an idiot.' Peter thought as he walked away.

Nala just stood there shock at the sibling fight with each other. She said she always wanted a sibling but after watching the fight that just happened she don't think she wants a sibling anymore. Nala turned around and walked over towards the wardrobe and closed it before turning her attention towards Lucy.

"Lucy are you ok?" She asked looking at the sad little girl.

"Why doesn't anybody believe me Nala?" Lucy asked looking up at Nala.

"I'm not too sure Lucy but I too believe you." She said causing Lucy to smile and squeal before jumping up and hugged Nala.

Nala hugged her back before putting Lucy's legs around her waist. "Come on Lu lets get out of here." Nala said walking away carrying Lucy.
