Who is your target audience?

My target audience would probably be between late teens to late twenties (maybe early thirties). Due to the fact that the story quite mature in the sense of graphic material - there's lots of gore and battles and stuff that isn't suitable for younger readers.

Can you explain what your book is all about?

My book is basically about a girl named Nyx Lahey. Nyx is a Necromancer - a species that has forever been at war with the Reapers. The story alternates between Nyx and a ghost named Erebus, who lives in 'Downton', City of the Dead. Under unexpected circumstances the two meet and are thrown into a secret world of monsters and legends. There's zombies, gargoyles, ghosts, and many other strange creatures. (Sorry, I'm so bad at explaining it all).

What is 'paranormal' about your story?

Lol, see above answer.

Does it contain other genre elements?

BFC most definitely has elements of horror and fantasy. Horror due to features such as Zombies and the gore that follows with them. Fantasy due to the extreme use of magic and supernatural characters.

Tell us about your writing process - how do you get from story idea to a Wattpad published story?

Honestly, I can't even remember how I came up with the initial idea. I've got the basic storyline all planned out, I know the major events that will occur within it. But smaller details are sort of made spontaneously from both myself and the ideas of the readers.

Do you encounter any challenges when writing, if so - how do you overcome them?

I get distracted and bored very easily. Whether it's by music or I'm caught staring out the window, it always takes me hours to write something that should only take about half of that.

You often hear that 'writing well' is the baseline for success. What does that mean for you?

Well, if you can't construct a decent sentence without major spelling or grammatical errors, then I don't think you're really going to be successful anytime soon.
