The JoongDunk fandom had exploded with excitement of the footage at the award ceremony. Clips of it strewn across all the different social media platforms. There were a lot of speculation and video edits of them already being in a relationship and that Joong's mom approves of their relationship with how close Dunk was with his mom.

But most of all they wondered if he will be attending Joong's birthday event that will be happening in 2 weeks. They were feeling hopefully of the possibility of seeing both of them in person. They had tried all means of letting Dunk know from blasting his social media accounts to the Vespera social media accounts. Mae Godji had even asked Joong about the possibility during an endorsement event. Joong had laughed at it, saying that it was highly unlikely since Dunk will be at Singapore for business. Mae Godji gushed at how Joong seemed to know Dunk's schedule well.

"I asked him, of course. It'll be great to have my best friend with me to celebrate my birthday but more than anything, I would like him to meet the fans. That would be THE only chance, the one and only possibility." He laughed as he explained.

The fans were still hopefully until they saw a video of Dunk at Singapore on the day itself. Joong's birthday event was held a hotel ballroom, hosting about 500 people. Joong's co-stars had attended the event, bringing a small birthday cake with well wishes. They were joking around fuelling the fun conversation after. Joong was utterly surprised when Paaw Jack said that there was another surprise. He was shocked to see Dunk holding a 2-tier birthday cake with a doll topper holding a trophy. It was a film theme cake. The screams in the room were deafening.

"How are you here?!" he asked in disbelieve after blowing the candles of the cake.

"I came here straight from the airport. Do you like the surprise?" He asked Joong, as well as gestured to the people around the room. Everyone cheered.

"Everyone, we have Dunk in the house! Who is a JoongDunk fan?" Force, one of Joong's co-star shouted. The crowd roared.

"ohoo~~ kon yuk maak. Khoorp khun maak maak ka phom (There's so many people . Thank you). I hope that you will continue to support Joong in his journey. Wishing you all the success and happiness that life could offer, puuean" Joong hugs Dunk. A loud synchronized aww was heard in the room.

"I'll pass you your gift on your actual birthday na khup. It was too much of a rush." The crowd laughed along with Dunk.

"You making the effort to be here is more than enough to me." Their fans gushed at that. Dunk's visit was cut short as Phi Khaotung signals to Dunk that Phi First is calling. Dunk hugs Joong, wai-ed and waved at the crowd before leaving.

Dunk, the twins and Pond had celebrated Joong's birthday once again on the actual day. Dunk had passed him his gift, telling him to unwrap it when he is home. It was a huge rectangular shaped gift. Joong had easily guessed that it was a framed photo so he didn't understand why he needed to unwrap it at home. It was when he unwrapped it at home that he finally realized it. Tears slide down as he saw the picture. It was a picture of him and his family at the award ceremony. Dunk had somehow managed to superimpose his dad onto the picture. It was a seamless edit. His dad was laughing widely beside him as if he was really there that day, proud of the success that he had achieved. He cried, clutching the picture tightly in his chest.

There were no words that he could say to Dunk, thank you just isn't enough.

What do you all think of Joong's birthday event with the fans? I was like.. where should Dunk go to be able to make it back in time 🤣🤣🤣Singapore it is, only 2.5 hour flight. 😅😅

I don't know how the mood change so fast. the feel of the last scene. 🤧🤧I'm tearing as I wrote. Does it really help to have such a memento? it's hard to say. It's healing to some, it's not to others. we all grief differently.
