"Do you have your bags, babe?" Harry calls out from my kitchen. His bags were already loaded into Anna's car out front where she was waiting. I didn't want a cab driver for so long and Harry didn't want to pay for travel parking, so Anna offered to take us to the airport.

"Bags? Um.. yes. Right here." I mumble. My scattered and already nervous brain took time comprehending his question. I'm twisting and turning trying to find my bags before his gentle hand laid on my shoulder.

"Sweetheart..." He coos. His hands falling from my shoulders to my waist.

"Hm?" My eyes shut as he hugs my body to his. My back is pressed up right against his sternum as he lays his chin on my head. His breath can be felt atop my head, holding back a chuckle.

"Are you nervous?" He whispers, his fingers gently squeezing my shoulders as if to massage all my worries away. The kinks in my muscles only prove that I'm nervous about today.

I only nod.

"Me too." He says bluntly in response, shrugging his shoulders like that was supposed to make me feel so much better. My lips press into a flat line and I try to pull away from his hold.

"Gee thanks H. Makes me feel so much better." My sarcastic tone doesn't go unnoticed by him.

He cracks a smile and lets me go, his laughter filling the room. The way his eyes crinkle and his smile gets bigger as he takes in my annoyed expression.

"No, no, no. I'm not nervous for the introduction. They already love you, and I'm not nervous about you liking them. I'm nervous about you seeing all the damn empty axe body sprays that you will find around my room from my teen years.."

This kid is an axe body spray enthusiast. How wonderful.

"For fucks sake." I groan, my own smile breaking through. I shake my head and rest my forehead against his chest.

"That shit was like my religion for a while." He grins and continues on. "I'll have you know I have upgraded to Tom Ford Vanilla Tobacco recently."

"Yes, Sunshine. I have noticed." My mood is immediately lifted and I'm no longer focused on how nervous I am for this trip. He knows exactly how to make me smile.

"But seriously, there is no need to be nervous, my love. My mother has never been so excited for something in her life." He comes a bit closer, resting his hands on his original position. His thumbs gently stroking the underside of my clavicles.

"Okay. I'll try to relax." I promise, taking a deep breath in and then exhaling out.

"Good. Now, do you have your carry on?" He goes back to talking about our flight and bags. Carrying all the shit out of my room for me.

"It's on my back, so I'm going to go with yes."

"Alright. Well let's go." He urges, taking my hand in his and leading us towards the door. I grab my rolling suitcase while he grabs his, him also picking up my extra bag to carry as well.

Treats me like a gentleman.

Like a gentleman.

We made our way down my apartment steps clumsily and to Anna's car. She popped the trunk for us, so Harry could load our luggage in the back.

"Got it Harry? Do you need a big, strong, woman to come help you out?" Anna calls from the front driver's seat once she hears Harry's grunting as he loads the luggage in the trunk.

"Doing just fine, Anna darling. I do appreciate the snarky remark though." Harry responds back, finishing off the last bag, placing it neatly on top of the others.

"No problem, Deary. Just trying to help out the weak." She yells, making sure him and the surrounding people in the area hear her.

"Sarcastic brat." Harry mumbles under his breath and shutting the trunk. Anna's face snaps towards mine with raised eyebrows.

She knows.  She heard. And she will say something. I can only sit back and watch.

"What was that? Say it louder for the people in the front of the vehicle, Harold." She looks through her rearview mirror, staring him dead in the eyes as he slides into the middle back seat. I sit in the passengers giggling to myself.

"I didn't say shit." His solemn face looks out the window pretending to be innocent.

"Oh but you did." She presses on. Urging him to take the bait that she has so brilliantly put on the tray in front of him.

"Cette femme teste ma patience tous les jours." He turns to me, leaning close to my ear. Now only speaking in a language she can't understand.

I chuckle as I watch Anna's face turn from smug to sour. Unamused that he's talking about he in a language only I can understand.

"Ne sois pas un bébé, Harry." I grab his face in one hand, squishing his cheeks inward and making his lips puff out. I don't hesitate to give him a grin and chastely kiss his lips, then push him back.

"What the actual fuck did you say?" My best friend asks me with a look that could kill.

"Calm down, A. He was just mentioning how he would rather have Iron Man drive us because he's such a slut for Tony Stark." A devious grin forms on my face as I hear Harry in the back let out a loud groan while Anna busts out laughing.

"Not this fucking shit again." He complains, his head tossed back onto the head rest.

"Oh please, you love it." I giggle, crossing my ankles over one another.

"Just like I-... I fucking love chicken." His sarcastic comment rolls off the tongue.

"I'm taking you guys to the airport so I don't have to hear you be cute anymore. Harry shut up. You aren't allowed to speak anymore in my motor device."

"Motor device what-" He whispers, his eyebrows scrunching in confusion.

"Uh!" She yells at him, stopping his speaking. Harry usually only lets people boss him around in a situation where he has no other choice.

"What the hell?" He snaps, trying to hold his angered and annoyed facade together.

"Girl talk only." She waves her finger at him, bringing it to her lips as she focuses on the road.

"This is honestly a form of tyranny. Get me out." He looks out the window like he's in a sad music video and it's pouring rain. Like a child, he crosses his arms over his chest and huffs in the backseat. Only to break a smile when I turn to look at him with a sweet grin.

Anna is focused on the road like she knows how, no longer playing around as she drives us to the airport knowing my still subtle fear. I've twisted my body so I can look at him over the seat.

"Hi baby." He mouths with a small, sweet smile, making sure not to make any noise.

"Hi Sunshine." I mouth back to him, making no noise, but he knows exactly what I said.

He leans forward, putting his elbows on his knees that are spread apart to accommodate the center console in the middle of the car and his long legs. His face is inches from mine, the only thing in my brain besides the subconscious reminder that we are in a moving car is the smell of him.

The warm smell that makes me smile.

"Are you ready to do this?" He asks quietly, his nose brushing mine.

"As long as you are." My eyes flutter closed, inhaling the smell of him in order to forget my worries once more today.

Fucking hell I love this man.

He gives me a chaste kiss on the cheek to hold me over until we finally make it to the airport. Anna parks in the drop off at Terminal C, and opens the trunk for us. Harry gets out as Anna grabs my arm to stop me.

"B. I know you're nervous, so if you don't want to do this, don't." She reassures me by giving my arm a gentle squeeze.

"I want to do this. You know I do."

"Okay. I'm so happy for you, Blake. Tell him you love him for me, okay? I may be a bitch to him and a royal pain in his ass, but I love my little Harry." She says nodding her head towards Harry taking out all our bags. Anna may be a crazy bitch sometimes but she has her moments I guess.

"I love him too." I say out loud, but quietly, making it feel all the more real.

"I know you do. He loves you too. Tell him on this trip, okay? For my sanity?" She pleads at me like it is so easy. I have no idea if Harry loves me but I sure as hell hope he does.

"Maybe. I love you, babe." I answer, trying to give her a small bit of hope before we leave.

"Love you too, B. Be safe. Call me if you need anything. Anything at all!"

"I will! See you later. Stay out of trouble!" I respond back with.

"No promises. Have fun." She turns her attention to Harry who is currently wheeling our bags towards me. "Hey dumbass!" She calls for him.

"What the hell do you want now?" Harry replies, you can almost hear his eyes roll from her joking nickname.

"Take care of her, okay?" She says tugging his arm so he can look down at her solid 5'7 frame looking a good foot shorter than him and his 6'0 stature.

"I will, Anna darling. I swear on my life." He says removing Anna's hold on him to stick his pinky out "Pinky promise?"

Like I said, this man is a child.

Anna rolls her eyes waiting for Harry to drop his pinky but reluctantly he doesn't, wiggling his single pinky out waiting for her to reciprocate the gesture.

"Fine. Pinky promise." Anna gruffs before sticking her small pinky out and wrapping it around Harry's ring clad pinky. Their pinkies wrap around each other, Harry bringing his thumb up to his mouth planting a small kiss on it. Anna unhooks their fingers obviously confused on what the fuck just happened before giving a quick smile and walking off and getting into her car.

"See you later sweet cheeks! And you too Stark slut!" She shouts back at us through the rolled down window.

"Wait, you told her?" Harry asks, turning towards me furrowing his eyebrows in confusion.

"Best friend rules sorry Stark slut." I shrug off before waving one last time at Anna.

And her car drives away, leaving us at the entrance of the airport. Our tickets were in Harry's backpack and our flight left in three hours.

We walked through the airport almost silently, only carrying luggage and walking close together. I haven't flown in I don't know how long, but it was definitely my favorite way to travel besides by boat.

Security was quick, both of us taking off our shoes and walking through the metal detectors. Officers looked so done with the day and it was only the early morning. We got our bags checked, keeping our carry ons with us.

Now hand in hand we walked throughout LAX, waiting for our flight to board.

"Do you want coffee while we wait?" Harry asked, slowing down as we stopped by a Starbucks.

"Sure. I could use espresso right now. It's early." I say, knowing I didn't have time to drink coffee before we left this morning.

"I'll get you a latte, blue baby." He replies, giving me a quick wink before walking off with his wallet in hand.

"Iced almond milk latte with two shots of espresso please." I quickly give him my order as we get into line with everyone else in desperate need for caffeine like us.

"Hi! What can I get for you?" The lady asks politely as Harry steps up to order.

"Good morning, I'll just have a grande iced almond milk latte with two shots of espresso and then a grande plain cold brew with no milk." He reads off giving our orders to the barista.

"Is that all?"

"And a slice of pumpkin bread." He adds, before quickly reciting our order making us nod in approval.

"Alright, your total is going to be 14.32 and it will be out in a minute." She says cheerfully after handing us our receipt.

"Okay thanks."

It wasn't long before our order was ready, both of us grabbing our drinks and the bag with his bread.

"Taste good?" He asks with a smile.

"Amazing. Thanks for buying it Sunshine." I thank him as we grab our luggage.

"No problem, my love. We still have about an hour and a half until our flight boards. Do you want to go to the Admirals Club or stay and wait at the gate?" He questions waiting for my answer to determine where we will go next.

"Since when do you have an Admirals Club membership?" I say giving into his little ego boost of the day.

"Since my father decided to fly me all over the country whenever the hell he feels like it. I got used to my flight having layovers and so I got the membership." He shrugs off.

"Very interesting story, H. I would love to sit in the Admirals Club. I never have before."

"I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Come on." He says before trudging towards the large sign reading 'Admirals Club'.

After the quick walk we open the doors to the Admirals Club. Harry rolls our suitcases to the corner before he walks over to the lady at the front desk, showing her his ID and membership card before we are allowed in.

Harry leads me into the small club filled with no more than 50 people, the buffet in the corner filled with fruits and various breakfast foods catching my eye. The large open windows filling the white room with light.

"So what do you think?" He asks, turning his head towards me.

"Smells....clean." I reply before dropping my bags and heading towards the open window watching as the large airplane takes off. Too enticed in the open windows I quickly zone out watching plane after plane take off.

"Neat isn't it?" Harry asks, placing his hand on my shoulder, startling me.

"Sorry, zoned out." I mutter, turning so my eyes meet his that were already on me.

"Come on it's early, take a nap I'll wake you up when it is time to go." He offers, I open my mouth to decline because we are both obviously tired and in need of some rest.

"Harry I'm oka-"

"Nope don't wanna hear it, I'm fine. Just take a quick nap I'll be okay." He reassures me, leading me towards the chairs that look obviously more comfortable than the ones by the gates.

We both sit down on the small leather loveseat overlooking the open windows, watching the city slowly wake up.

"Sleep okay?" He tells me before pulling me into his side, his warmth instantly lulling me to sleep.

***

"Baby. Wake up. It's time to get on the plane." He whispers in my ear even though I've only been asleep for maybe forty five minutes.

"Hm?" My eyes shut tightly before I push them open, taking in the dim lighting of the Admirals club.

"Time to board, sweetheart. I know you're tired, but you can sleep on the plane." He coaxes me awake even more.

"M'kay. Let's go." I mumble, grabbing my carry on and throwing it over my shoulder. Harry grabs the tickets out of his backpack and leads us out of the Admirals club.

Our entrance gate wasn't a far walk from where we were. We quickly made it and were some of the first in line. The man at the check in took our tickets and allowed us to pass after scanning them. We walked down the narrow hallway and onto the plane.

"Here we are." Harry says, stopping in first class.

"We're in first class? I thought you bought coach." I ask, confused, why the hell would he spend so much money on me?

"No way in hell, babe. This trip is on me. I used points. I didn't want to have to refrain from kissing you whenever I wanted because some random person was next to us." He says giving me a cheeky look which causes me to playfully shove his shoulder.

"You're crazy." I scoff, shaking my head at him as he grabs our suitcases, placing them in the overhead bin.

"Crazy for you." He says, turning his head to look at me, displaying a cheesy grin.

"I want to pay you back, I didn't know." I ramble, internally freaking out that he spent this much money on me. For god's sake I know he is rich but it doesn't mean he should splurge on me.

"No can do love, I paid with points and miles. It didn't cost me." He sing songs back to me playfully, tapping the tip of my nose with his index finger.

"Are you sure?" I ask nervously, surely not use to people spending money on me with no desire for anything in return.

"Positive baby. Besides, this was kind of for me. I wanted you all to myself." He tells me as he slides into his seat next to me letting me have the window seat.

"Dammit. I thought you wanted Tony." I joke back at him.

"Fucking hell." He mutters, pinching the bridge of his nose with his thumb and index finger.

He turns looking at me pulling my chin towards him for a quick kiss of reassurance to settle my nerves for the time being.

"Now, let's survive this flight." Harry tells me, moving his body over me to grab the seat belt buckle before clipping it in for me.

"Buckle up." He murmurs against my ear, nipping his teeth against my earlobe.

"Harry..." I say in a warning surely not ready to join the mile high club this early in the morning.

"Okay okay. Go back to sleep. I'll see you in Nevada." He replies, placing a quick kiss on my cheek before buckling his own seatbelt.

"See you in Nevada, H."

***

I'm in fucking Nevada.

I'm in a cab because that was our only option. Harry tried to rent a car, but I told him that was ridiculous when he had one at his mother's. I could survive a cab ride.

We are only about five minutes from his mother's house and I think I'm shitting bricks. I'm more nervous to meet his sister than his mother I think. He's sitting next to me so fucking excited to see her and while I want to melt at the sweet thoughout I also want to die because I'm so nervous.

"You look beautiful, sweetness." He mumbles as he catches me staring at my reflection in the window and trying to fix anything wrong with me. I'm wearing jeans and a cute but comfortable tshirt. Jeans weren't exactly the most comfortable airport outfit, but I knew I wouldn't have time to change before meeting his family and I wanted to look somewhat decent.

"Harry. I'm serious. What if they hate me?" My anxiety is making my leg bounce up and down.

"They won't." He states calmy, resting his hand on my knee to stop the bouncing, his thumb rubbing soothingly over the fabric.

"That doesn't do shit." I try to smile.

He only smiles sympathetically, leaning forward and pressing a long and sweet kiss to my lips not caring about the cab driver probably seeing us.

"We are here." The cab driver calls. Harry paid online so he only thanked the man and got out. Harry opens the trunk, pulls out our luggage and gives me my carry on. He pulls and carried the rest.

"Fuck fuck fuck." I whisper to myself as I follow behind Harry who is almost skipping to his mother's door.

"H, let me help you." I call from behind him. I guess he realized he was acting way too excited and forgot about my nerves because he stopped just before the door.

"There's no need. I got it, babe." He says softly, resting the luggage by the door and walking back over to me.

"Okay..."

"Remember, don't be nervous." He whispers, pressing a kiss to the side of my head. I let out a shaky breath and shake my hands. I've met parents before, I've just never cared so much about wanting to fit into his bubble.

"Are you ready now?" He mumbles  into my hair.

"I'm ready." I shake my head yes and try to separate myself from him for a moment.

"Kiss me one more time for good luck." He says, pulling me back in. I press my lips to his, gently pulling on the bottom strand of his hair so it doesn't get messed up.

"Okay let's go. I know you haven't seen them in forever." I smile brightly and try and push down any leftover nerves.

He grins his brightest grin of the day and takes my hand in his and pulls me towards the door. His knock was loud and heavy, my hand was squeezed so tight in his.

I could hear footsteps coming from inside the apartment. My heart has never raced so fast in my life. I watched as the door knob turned and my eyes widened.

"Mu-" Harry starts with a super bright smile and a very enthusiastic voice but he gets cut off almost immediately. The woman in front of him wasn't paying attention to her son at all. She was looking dead at me.

"Oh my God. Blake!" She cheers with a boisterous and very peppy voice. Her english accent was a bit thicker than Harry's. "My God, you're gorgeous. So so gorgeous."

"Hi, Ms. Jenna, it's very nice to meet you." I keep my voice as calm as possible, putting on an enthusiastic smile. She goes in immediately for a hug and I am so overjoyed she's welcoming me. Harry stands there dumbfounded that his mother didn't even hug him or even acknowledge his presence.

I give her a tight hug back smiling up at Harry.

"I'm so happy to finally meet you I think I could explode.  But please, call me Jen." She pulls back and rests her hands on my shoulders smiling at me. "Come on inside. We are so excited to have you!"

"What about me! I haven't seen you in months!" Harry throws his hands up in the air in exasperation.

"Oh Harry dear! How are you my sweet boy? I didn't even see you." Jenna says, turning to her son to give a kiss and a light pat on the cheek.

"Mum you pushed me out of the way-" Harry starts but Jenna interrupts him again.

"Nonsense. Nonsense. Now Blake-" She turns back to me where I'm waiting expectantly. He guides me through the door and into the foyer. She starts to ramble about how excited she was when footsteps were heard running from another part of the house.

"Holy shit! Is that H?" A young girl's voice calls loudly and excitedly.

"Finally some attention!" Harry screams. Dropping our bags and running towards the voice as his sister rounds the corner, and comes barreling into her older brother's arms.

I almost want to cry at the cuteness of this moment. His arms are wrapped so tightly around her as her head only meets his chest. Her brown hair is almost the same shade as his. She's a gorgeous girl.

"Fucking hell, I haven't seen you in forever, Mere." They rock back and forth squeezing each other tight as Jen and I stand and watch.

"Oh you remember me? That's funny considering your lack of calling seems to say otherwise." Meredith pushes on his brother's chest, forcing him away from her in mock anger. I stifle a laugh as I watch the conversation. Jen seems to do the same.

"I called the other day." Harry yells, defending himself.

"Yeah well. It wasn't frequent enough. I missed you big bro." She goes back in for another hug, Harry gladly accepting and pressing a kiss to her forehead.

"I missed you too, Mere." He mumbles, squeezing his eyes shut and then releasing her.

"Harry dear, come introduce your girlfriend." Jen scolds from her spot next to me. Her soft smile was directed towards me as she lightly nudges my arm. Harry's bright green eyes locked with mine as he lets go of his sister and makes his way back to me.

"Hey, baby." He whispers into my ear as he reaches me, giving me a kiss on the cheek in apology for his sporadic behavior. However, there was no apology necessary, I love seeing him like this.

"Mom, you already met her, but this is Blake. Blake, this is my mother, Jenna. Yada yada." He motions his hands between us, rolling his eyes as I lean into his side. Jen watches her son and I with hopeful eyes and a sweet smile. Harry turns back to his sister slowly.

"Mere, this is Blake. Blake, this is my sister Meredith." He does his introduction speech, his hand squeezing mine. Meredith eyes me skeptically, stepping a bit closer towards us.

"So you're the girl who has my brother's panties in a twist." She smiles and drops her protective sister act and leans in for a hug.

"Oh give me a break." Harry groans, I drop his hand to give his sister a proper greeting, indulging in her hug fully, just like I did his mother.

"It's great to meet you, Meredith. I've heard a ton about you." I say as we pull away, her eyes shooting up to Harry's.

"Oh yeah? What have you heard?"

"Narcissistic brat." Harry mumbles under his breath while I stand next to him, a little nervous again.

Meredith shoves him hard in the shoulder with a smile.

"Alright, alright. Let's stop harassing the poor girl and let them come inside fully and get unpacked. Then I'll fix us up some lunch. Or we can go out, whatever you kids want." Jenna coaxes, having Harry lead me to our bags. I try to pick mine up but he refuses to let me. So now he's carrying four bags all on his own, two of them being large.

Men.

"Sounds good. I'll show Blake around, then we will be back." Harry promises, leading me throughout the house.

"Hurry though, we have so much to catch up on." Jenna calls as we begin to walk away, her hands linked together tightly as she holds in her excitement for the day.

"She's extra crazy today." Harry whispers, leaning down to my ear as we walk.

"I love her." I whisper back, giving him a light push on the arm with a smile. He seems to be getting pushed a lot today.

"I told you you would." He grins, still keeping his voice low until he's out of earshot from his mother. "So this is the living room, obviously." He gestures towards the couch and the television in the center of the apartment. It's actually a very large apartment, way bigger than mine. "Um, my bedroom is down the hall and to the right." He points.

"Well are you gonna show me Sunshine, or just verbalize it?" I joke, watching as he stands awkwardly near the entrance of his teenage bedroom.

"I'm thinking verbalizing is the safest way to go."

"Oh come on. Show me the room you grew up in, H." I plead, pulling on his arm and towards his room.

"Okay, my love. Follow me." He tells me softly, leading us to the door as he carries out clunky luggage. He stops at his closed, white, wooden door and pauses to look at me.

"Wanna see some paintings, baby?" His eyes gleam as he talks about it.

"Always." I laugh, and nod my head hoping he'd cut the misery and let me see his room that I've been so excited about.

He turns the door knob and pushes it completely open as I look inside his bedroom. I don't let him go first as I push past the door frame. I can hear him drop our bags on the ground as he waits for me to explore. His walls were a dark blue, keeping his theme of darkness alive. Typical. His bedspread was an offwhite with dark blue navy sheets. His desk was littered with papers and unfinished sketches while his walls were decorated with some of the most beautiful and intricate designs and paintings I've ever seen.

"Oh wow." I murmur, walking closer to a particular painting on the wall.

"It's a recreation of The Oxbow by Thomas Cole. One of my favorite American historical paintings." I learned about this in high school once, but I never really paid attention to the meaning behind it. It's one of the most accurate recreations of a painting I have ever seen.

"What does it represent?" I ask, barely knowing anything about art. Harry knows art, I know medicine. We can learn from each other.

"It represents the Hudson River School just after a thunderstorm."

"It's amazing." I gawk at the painting again, the brush strokes effortlessly flowing in different but correlating ways. "What about this?" I point to a different painting that seems more original. It looks like a place he had been before.

"It's a watercolor piece in Central Park, from an angle of something in a tree. It was a project I had on unusal depth and perception." He is the most amazing human I've ever met.

"Harry, you're amazing." I turn back to him to see him standing still against the doorway, watching me admire his artwork. He smiles with closed lips, walking towards me, his footsteps barely making any noise. I'm in his teenage bedroom, in his mother's house, while his family waits to truly meet me, but all I can think about is how much I love him.

"Thank you my love." He whispers softly, his hand finding my cheek and stroking his thumb back and forth like he loves to do. Like I love him to do. "After we eat and hang around my mother and sister for a while, I'll take you to the gallery like I promised. I still have to hang up the new paintings I brought."

"I can't wait. This is...wow." With my face still resting in his palms, I turn my head only slightly to look around the room again.

He has so many memories in this room.

He points to a different spot, "That rock in the distance is where I go to sit and paint the water sometimes. The place where I parked is where I got pulled over for speeding for the first time, and this beach is where I would sit and think about all the things I've done in life. You are standing on a pile of my memories. You want to know me? You want to know the real me? You're standing right on top of them, Blake. Hidden within the sand are some of my most vivid memories."

"Woah."

I know him now, I know everything. I was begging to know the man that is standing in front of me right now only a short while ago. Even though loving and knowing him has brought so much chaos into my life that I try my absolute best to ignore, there will always be a hectic lifestyle when it comes to him.

But I think without any danger or excitement in life you never truly live. While I never want to do anything illegal, the adrenaline that comes with it is absolutely and completely addicting.

"Harry? Blake? Are you in there?" Jenna calls, sticking her head inside the open doorway to be faced with our embrace. Harry's hands rested on my face as we looked at each other adoringly and so in love only to pull away when accidentally interrupted. "Oh sorry, my dears. Just wanted to know what you guys wanted to do for lunch!"

"Want to stay in?" Harry looks back down to ask me what I wanted.

"I'm good with anything." I shrug, not caring if we stay in or go out. I was just happy to be here and to be included.

"Let's stay in, Mum, I'll help cook. We've already had a long day and it's only noon." My hand drops into Harry's as Jenna nods with another bright smile and turns toward the kitchen. Harry is soon to pull me along with him, following after his mother.

She heads straight for the fridge, Meredith on her phone at the kitchen counter, sitting on a stool at the island. "What do we want today? I can make anything you kids want."

"I have stuff to make carbonara. Blake, do you like carbonara?" Pasta sounds so good right now.

"I like everything. That sounds wonderful."

"Harry? How the hell did you get someone so sweet to go out with you, I personally find it incredible." Meredith speaks up, looking at Harry with a cheesy grin.

"I'm just me. I don't know what you want me to say, squirt." He pulls me in by the hips to press a kiss to my cheek.

"Moving on!" Jenna interrupts and I laugh, looking back at Harry who is giggling himself. "Blake, what do you do? What's your major?"

"Oh, um, it's not that interesting. I'm a pre med biology major."I tell her simply, not wanting to get into much detail about medicine before I start rambling.

"So you're like a doctor?" Meredith asks me and Harry just puts his fingers into the shape of an L and rests it on his forehead. "Loser" he mouths.

Juvenile.

"Not yet, no. I have some qualifications where I can do things in the hospital, but no, I'm just on the path for med school." I shrug, giving his sister a soft smile.

"Wow, dear. Smart and pretty. Harry you lucky bastard." Jenna grins, dumping the spaghetti into boiling water.

"I am a lucky bastard, aren't I?" Harry leans down to whisper softly in my ear so his family can't hear.

"And what about you Meredith? Are you involved in anything interesting?" I try to start a conversation with her and hopefully get to know her better. She puts down her phone to focus her full attention on me.

"Nothing as interesting as yours. I play volleyball for the school which takes up a lot of my time, I haven't really figured out exactly what I want to do yet."

"Well honey, you know you don't have to completely figure everything out yet."

"I know Mum, thank you." Meredith rolls her eyes after Jen turns back around.

"I want to hear more about how you guys met though! I'm excited! Harry's never brought anyone home before and-"

"Mum, you're rambling again." Harry sighs, shaking his head as I giggle and nudge his side. "Well I was at work and she was bartending. I was having a bad night and she gave me my drink. That was literally the first night we met."

He's leaving out some details.

"Not true. You were mean when we first met." I shrug, giving him a smirk. Jen whips around from her spot at the stove, giving her son a death glare.

"Harold! Why were you mean?" She asks, her hands on her hips. Playfulness was in her eyes.

"I was having a bad night! I wasn't mean." Harry shakes his head, trying to deny the allegations.

"He called me Blondie for like a week." I shrug, giving him another sinister smile. His mouth drops open at my teasing words. Meredith busts out laughing and Jen gasps again.

"Oh not this again. I was infatuated with you!" He claims, throwing his hands up in the aid as everyone starts attacking him for the first night we met.

"Creepy." Meredith mumbles on the side, throwing her opinion into the conversation. I love her.

"Well you're sweet now so that's all that matters." I say, patting him condescendingly on the shoulder while he frowns at me playfully, knowing I got him in trouble.

Jenna calls my attention over with a cute nickname. "He better be. Listen Sweetness, if he ever does anything bad, come to me. He might be a grown ass man but I will not hesitate to whip the shit out of his cute little tushy."

I could only help but laugh.

"Mum!" Harry's loud voice rings through the air as he was shocked by her words.

"Harry, you know how to treat a woman right! I'm sad you were mean to her!" Jen stirs the sauce as she scolds Harry.  I'm having too much fun with this.

"Blake! Look at what you have done!" A shocked laugh falls from his lips as he points at his mother like I'm supposed to do something about it.

Whoops?

"This isn't her fault, H. My hopeless romantic heart is holding onto the fact that this is an enemies to lovers trope." Me too, Jen. Me fucking too.

"We weren't enemies! I thought she was the prettiest girl I've ever seen after I saw her." Awe, he thought I was pretty when he first saw me. He came down from the rink that night, looking to drown himself in liquor, but at least he thought I was pretty. Romantic.

"How poetic." Meredith mumbles another phrase, Harry's head snapping towards her.

"Mere, literally shut up." He demands, eyebrows furrowing.

"Blake deary, is he nice to you?" She gives a stern but concerned look.

"I promise he's the kindest man to me." My hands loop around his bicep, promising her this with my life.

"Okay good. This is settled. Now Harry Styles, come help your mother chop up these vegetables and don't complain about it." She demands, going back to her cheery self.

"Yes, Mum." He mumbles and stalks over to the cutting board.

All is well.
